The guy from Budget said she called, then called again to make sure it'd be ready, and good to go early.

It's actually a little unfair to Nurmi....JM's closing was text book trial practice. Amazing. Difficult to do...more unlikely than finding a unicorn in my backyard. Not only was JM masterful, but Nurmi's case is awful....he's at a distinct disadvantage.

Yikes as I was typing this he caught the Budget thing....even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes.

Didn't make sense to lie to the rental place about where she was driving it either, but she did it.

From the comments here, I'm glad I'm not listening. I do see Jodi, however, and she looks absolutely petrified.

yep just muted...I'm simply not going to listen.:banghead::banghead::banghead:

Notice Mr. Martinez is not rolling his eyes, shaking his head and acting immature. He is a class act.

Or scribbling notes continuously and not looking up to avoid any eye contact.

Why do they have JA bookcased between JW and Mitigation Specialist? They look like three unpopular gals waiting to get asked for a slow dance IMO.

Defense strategy (lame strategy) to have the murderer JA sit between 2 "upstanding normal people" ... To make JA appear like she's just like anyone else.
More of the poor 'lil misunderstood JA baloney.

Ugh!! JA cracks a big smile when Nurmi says that 9 times out of 10 he doesn't even like JA. (objection by Juan - sustained - and ordered stricken from the record)

Got news for ya JW & mitigation lady ...
Be afraid and watch your backs when this trial is finally over.
JA will expose her evil side against her "team" when the guilty of 1st degree verdict comes in.

Jodie is thinkin', "Why didn't you just STEAL a car Jodie, gosh!"

I could even hear her voice when you said that! :floorlaugh:

Jodi looks so pissed at Nurmis' closing, lol...

Omg...he doesn't like Jodi. Holy hell.

I have to agree with Nurmi about the felony murder thing. It doesn't make sense.
I wondered if the felony murder charge was thrown in when the Manslaughter charge was allowed? Could that be? I have been wondering about that since I heard about it.

Donnavon wearing a t-shirt with a huge skull on the front. How completely uncouth and inappropriate court attire in a murder trial.

I think they had a talk with JA about being disinterested yesterday.
I am sure it's not lost on the jury that today she's so interested, (or being forced to act that way) and yesterday, she paid no attention.

I bet that is the reason for being flanked by MS and JW.

Jodi in her intelligent state- doesn't look too comfortable. :moo:

Willmott is falling asleep...she looks like death warmed over today.

I do not mean this to be ugly...but I wonder if jw has any idea what this trial has done to her physically? She looks to have aged 20 years.

He is already on his second page, maybe he is almost done. :floorlaugh::floorlaugh: Doubt it, but I can dream, can't I?

I will say Nurmi is much better at this than he is at questioning witnesses

Are you watching the same closing statement I am? This is AWFUL! He may be speaking a tad bit faster than when questioning witnesses, but it is really bad.
