Man suspected of sexually assaulting three kids in Colorado Springs

Terry Simerly was arrested Dec. 7 and is suspected of sexually assaulting three kids. Details in the arrest papers are too graphic to share.

News5 obtained the arrest papers for Terry Simerly, however, we are choosing to leave many of the details out of this article because they are disturbing in nature. News5 partner The Gazette was the first to report the story.

it seems as if these three children may be related to the accused man, which is why details, including the location of the long term abuse is not being disclosed. I am glad the children have now been able to unload this heavy burden of a secret and will get help to process what this man did to them. I hope they get every ounce of support needed to do this.

The victims are reported to be an 8-year-old girl, a 7-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy. The 7 year old boy apparently disclosed first which led to the discovery of the other two victims. This article from the Gazette provides more details the News5 article doesn't but I won't post snips from it because it could lead to the identity of the children (or at least their relationship to accused)

very sad for all 3 victims and their loved ones. A horrible thing for a family to face IMO.
