Yes!
"Thank you @Seattle1 for your comprehensive posts on this tragic case."

A few times I've gone back to @Seattle1's coverage while listening to Lauren @ HTC for more info on what was said by a witness.

Does anyone know if Angela threatened JC with divorce after finding out in January he was financially supporting a mistress?
All I'm aware of is that she was very private with family/friends on her marital problems.

My educated guess, knowing the LDS culture, is that Angela may have have wanted JC to attend couples counseling. But I doubt she said anything about a divorce. That is usually not considered.

Angela has 6 kids, and was a SAHM, with JC supporting her. So, my guess is that if he wanted out, he would have to file for divorce, and yes, it probably would have resulted in alimony, child support.

Other men get divorced and move on. They don't kill their wives. Other men, see killing their wives as a way out. He should have just gone hiking with her. No paper trail for Cyanide.

He was arrested on March 19, 2023. His bond was set at $10 million on June 28, 2023. That October, he pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.

James Craig's trial began on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.

You can read Denver7's previous reporting on this trial here:

Denver7 reporter Colette Bordelon is in court Wednesday and we are summarizing the seventh day of the trial in this story.

Court resumes with testimony from James Craig's former cellmate

Court resumed Wednesday morning with defense attorneys performing a cross-examination of Kasey Bohannon, a former inmate in the Arapahoe County Jail who knew James Craig while they were both in custody in March of 2023.

So, is the prosecution insinuating that JC was trolling sugar baby dating sites looking for women financially desperate enough that they would get rid of Angela for him so he is free to marry them and solve their financial problems?

Does anyone know if JC and Angela were both raised as Mormons or if one or the other converted when they married? Not important, just wondering.

That's what it seems like to me. We saw this with another case, Bashir in Michigan? Looking for a downtrodden, intellectually disabled patsy. Charlie Adelson did that with Katie I think on some level. He may have had that plan all along with her. JMO

And that leads me to another speculation: did JC insist on his new patsy/paramour coming to Denver while he wife was in her final days to provide a suspect if poisoning was suspected? Was he plotting: 1) make Angela sick with arsenic and the eye drop chemical, baffling the diagnostics, then 2) inject a fatal amount of cyanide in the IV while his patsy/paramour was in town. He is willing to frame Angela for her own murder, why not have someone else ready to hand?

Even if the cyanide hadn't been discovered after the mail delivery, would any doctor have signed a death certificate for Angela after her medical chaos without an autopsy? I seriously doubt it, but I am not a doctor. However, I suspect she would have been referred to the coroner's office in any event.

Divorce definitely is an individual choice and how it relates to one's religious beliefs.
It appears that according to the Mormon Church Angela was the perfect Mormon wife, SAHM with 6 children.

I know there are the 2 older daughters who just testified do you or anyone else know the ages of the other 4 children?

Yeah something is iffy about him and the orthodontist. Per my earlier comment, the degree to which she was going along is suspicious to me. I think that's why her canceling the earlier visit also looks suspicious in hindsight. I don't know what her true role was in all of this or if she was just truly gullible. I think it's disturbing how very little empathy she had for the vicitm and her children as this sociopath is expressing such contempt for them. JMO

All I've seen reported is that JC is a Mormon and nothing else.
If it never comes out in the trial and I doubt it will now, I would guess that Lauren@ HTC or another YT'er who covers Mormon crimes, Nate Eton too, may mention their religious backgrounds at some point if they have the info.

I'm also curious about Angela and mistress Cain too.
We do know from Cain's testimony that their "faith" was deeply discussed from the get-go yet that doesn't mean she's a Mormon.
I gather the "sugar babies" dating site he used isn't a Mormon one.
IMO
