I just cannot fathom why he took the risk of burying her somewhere so near a road where someone could have seen him.
I cannot make up my mind whether he expected her to be discovered .
Putting her bones together with her clothing and chemo port suggests that he wanted her body to be found and identified. He could have scattered those items in several places and she would never have been found. He saw some benefit to ensuring that her body was located, and I suspect it was related to the $15M lawsuit.

He alleged wrongful arrest. Discovery of the body within an hours drive of the house supported his theory that she was abducted, murdered and dumped on May 9/10.

He must have worried that BAM was present in soft tissue and hair, so he made sure that she was nothing but bones and specific identifiable items like the chemo port. His mistake was not knowing that BAM was in bone marrow.

I hate to think how Barry may have gaslit and manipulated his own daughters to be angry with their mom.
Just speculating.
Like maybe he'd say -- "Well, mom won't let you do that, but I WILL, see how good I am to you both !"
A lifetime of emotional control and verbal abuse ?
His treatment and control of Suzanne even after her death is telling, and appalling.
A control freak who always had to have his own way -- 'my way or the highway' sort of thinking ?
Imo.

Or less brutal, he thought cancer would kill her so he had gotten a headstart counting and spending her chickens.

Whatever careful plan he might have had, it went out the window at AT's break neck static drift speed. He was utterly out of control when he pulled up that afternoon.

This is so disgusting to me.
Being a parent to a child who had to have a port at 3 years old and a parent to a 18 year old at the time who's best friend died ,who had a port. I am too biased for his jury for sure.

That makes sense. I do so hope forensics have been able to work out how long Suzanne's remains had been there .

Suzanne wearing her “Crested Butte” sweatshirt in 2019.
Guessing that was a favorite sweatshirt, perfect for covid lockdown on chilly Colorado days. It's probably what she had on before she changed into and out of her bikini, then changing into her actual biking clothes for her late afternoon ride.

IMO that's what she was wearing when she was murdered. (It was taken to Broomfield to be bleached.) And he grabbed the clothes on her bed and that's what he later threw in with her. Why he kept it until then, I don't know.

It's probably the only time BK has picked up clothing.

Barry didn't even show in real biking clothes. Probably because he had no idea what she wore biking.

JMO
Also…no shoes? No underwear? And lord help us if what they are describing as a light patterned balaclava (that I think is a running buff) actually *is* a balaclava? Yup, he had no clue.

IRL he abused and used her, and did not see her as an autonomous person. He remembered her sweatshirt because she wore it often, but actual running gear?I get the feeling it’s like… Why would he, such a superior being, ever pay attention enough to lowly her to even notice? Like he’s so deep into narcissism, he couldn’t even pick out the clothes she’d wear to cycle in because he didn’t even see her as a person, just a bank.

BBM - I believe that pool chemicals and bleach would speed up the decomp process. I wonder if he had her in a cooler with chemicals? (Horrible thoughts to post) Recalling the hotel room was in disarray and smelled of bleach. All JMO
Ita.
IMO she was definitely kept in one of the missing coolers for a time !

Disgusting monster, Barry the man who married her and most likely at their wedding promised to love and care for her !! 🤬
Suzanne had survived cancer (chemo port); but she didn't survive Barry Morphew.
Omo.

Thank you for this. I am just now able to watch it.

First ----YAY!!! Finally Justice for Suzanne and the re-arrest of BM !!!
I celebrate with all of you here and am so happy for this Felony Friday !!!!

Regarding the news presser-- I found it interesting when a reporter asked what BM's reaction was to arrest and she responded with " That is part of the case and we look forward to presenting that in front of the jury."

We all knew!!! We all waited patiently !!!
Iris has blown in the wind, or blown through BM's $$ YAY !!!

I am still watching so haven't seen anything on the daughters yet but my heart goes out to them and Suzanne's family and friends !!!
Iris might have turned it down. She knew she won on luck the first time. She has a winning rep to protect.

I do not think he would risk preserving anything she was wearing when he murdered her.

I still don’t think BM was cheating, or had in the past. Any physical or emotional distance was probably him doing his own thing, not being considerate of her needs and truly liking to work and be away from the house . Her accusing him is kind of normal where the accusing spouse is the one involved in an emotionally charged affair. It’s a way to shift blame, manage guilt, and create emotional distance while continuing the affair. BM’s behavior stayed tightly controlled around his marriage, family image, and daily routine. That imbalance of control, her leaving, rejection and humiliation became the psychological driver that led to him killing her….. I think. imo

He was apparently caring when they first got together. She was ill with another disease and her having two healthy children was a miracle. The crazy in Barry grew over time.

So happy to hear the news today. Justice for Suzanne, at last! I would like to think he was taken by complete surprise...but what are the odds that he didn't receive a tip that a grand jury was convening?

Hearing youtuber CO attorney Scott (Crime Talk) shill for Barry to contact him for hire today (and to bolster his appeal, he cites many have before such as the Watts defenders - what a stamp of legitimacy!). Oh Scott, I would hire Lori Daybell before you if only for the entertainment factor.

How was THAT for weaving in some blasts from the past?

A couple years ago before Suzanne was found, I briefly met the mother of one of the close friends of the younger daughter's boyfriend. She said they expect the boyfriend to testify for the prosecution. She also said her son had been in the Morphew house as he ran in those circles with the younger daughter and boyfriend. As a blue haired old lady now, I forget what tidbits she mentioned...but the sentiment was Barry is guilty.

I can't help but be relieved for all the little creatures he can no longer torture. While I would bet good money that Barry has not flapped his gums to date, I think they have more than enough to make it stick if well presented, and they have smartly accepted help from more experienced DAs.

I was surprised by the $3M bond until I heard it is cash only. Yesssssss!
Forgot about MM2’s boyfriend. She owes him a huge apology. She let a good one get away. I feel bad for her. She was the closest to Suzanne.

Regarding the bail, I believe that is for AZ.

CO has no bail for first degree murder.

I think he's just arrogant enough thaat he might have been burning that no-one believed him so he thought discovery of her body with biking clothes, as he had maintained, would finally exonerate him. After all, he's not terribly bright, is he?
