The other possibility is that LE really WAS onto something when they dismissed the charges the first time because they believed they were close to discovering her and she was located in "a remote and mountainous region nearby the Morphew residence."Life insurance would be a huge one, if it exists. No 7 year wait with a body.
Getting access to the rest of her assets would be another one.
It's possible that he figured that her body being found in biking clothes, would help him with that lawsuit (being factually innocent probably helps somewhat).
If she was moved, which seems very, very likely, I just don't see any explanation other than him wanting her found, for one reason or another. You don't take a body that's been successfully hidden for two or so years, and put it in a shallow grave in a location where its eventual discovery is inevitable.
If he was worried that the FBI had gotten additional digital/electronic analysis back since his arrest that had led them to discover her location, he would definitely have wanted to move her.
