I’m so sorry @Mauig’ma! How awful. Prayers definitely! And always hugs all around. We have about 12 friends and 2 family members who have lost homes to fires in NoCal and southern Oregon. It’s so traumatic, fleeing for their lives, but they are all doing OK now a year or more later and so will your daughter’s friends, once the worst is past.

I am very sorry to hear this - I was up rather late last night watching videos of the fire - such a horrific sight. Prayers for everyone affected by this fire.

What?!? The CostCo is gone?!? It's right next to Highway 36 if i am thinking of the right one. How?!?

This is at South Boulder Road and S 68th Street. A beautiful area... Houses decorated with Chrismas lights... burning. Devastation... there is no other word for it.

Yeah, that would be the one. Great shopping plaza, that liquor store across the street was fantastic also. Wow.

Good that they are not in a shelter. Covid is going to rip through those facilities.

Glad they are safe. Losing everything, makes you realize how meaningless items really are. But, that epiphany takes awhile.

These poor folks, dealing with insurance companies. On top of the stress and depression. Devastating.

It is horrific and devastating. So many people. The fires are so fast moving.

Saturday press conference gave a preliminary total of 991 structures destroyed. There are also 3 missing people. Cause of fire is still being investigated.

That was inaccurate based upon an aerial view of the aftermath. Looks like Target might have had some damage, I am not sure if the roof is supposed to be black like that. Costco looks good though. Tesla across the street burned down. Superior Liquors right next to Tesla is ok though. ETA: Jump to 30:00 to see the Costco.

Deputies execute search warrant in investigation of Marshall Fire
Boulder County Sheriff Joe Pelle confirmed the video of the barn on fire is part of the investigation into the cause of the Marshall Fire.

BOULDER, Colo. — As investigators work to determine the cause of the Marshall Fire, the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) confirms deputies conducted a search warrant at a property they believe could be connected to the start.

Investigators won’t confirm where they conducted that search warrant or what they are searching for, but the sheriff’s office is using that search warrant to try and determine whether the Marshall Fire was caused by humans.

Video taken on Thursday morning showed the earliest known pictures of the Marshall Fire. The flames and smoke coming from a shed off Highway 93 and Eldorado Springs Drive spread in the high winds.

Hi All, we got an email that 70 of our employees are affected. We don't know yet how many have lost their homes. The hospital is working on coming up with ways to help, which I really appreciate. I am off the next 2 days and need a oil change, so I may be down there. If anyone wants me to take a pic of anything particular, please let me know. I gladly do that and send it to you.
