About the jewelry, I believe that these could be native american designs. Trying to confirm it searching google. I recognized the style of hook on the pendants as very simular to hand made native american turquoise jewelry pendant I used to have. Also, googling these cylinder shaped pointed end crystals seem to be common when googling native american crystal pendants.

If she is native american from a reservation she may not have been reported missing.

These types of pendants were pretty popular at the time. I had something similar and they were very easy to purchase. I would say more a edgy, hippy, mystical thing...not overly symbolic in a traditional sense.

Any thoughts about Amy Lovely as a possible match? I don't see her on the rule out list:
http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/1772dfwv.html

I was just looking at her on NamUs. DNA says Sample available - Not yet submitted

Namus for Amy says: She has a tattoo of a cross on her left wrist and hearts on her left ankle.

If they were small maybe they got missed due to the decomposition.

Height, weight, age, dates are all ok.

I have looked back through this whole thread and double-checked the previous suggested matches. While most have been ruled out or factors were identified that would not make them strong matches, I believe that Michelle Richardson (suggested by LucyOso) could be a good potential match:

attachment.php
Her demographics are very close: 5'6", 160 lbs, missing from Palestine, TX since 1989. She would have been about 20 when the UID was found. http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/r/richardson_michelle.html

Another potential match I found is Kristen Smith http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/s/smith_kristen.html
attachment.php
5'6", 140 lbs, missing from Beaumont, TX since 1991. She would have been about 23 when the UID was found.

A few others I also found are:
Bertha Burkholder (very poor photo makes comparison tough) http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/b/burkholder_bertha.html
Laura Lucas (missing from nearby) http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/l/lucas_laurie.html
Jayne Davis (possibly too old) https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/show/29553
Elaine Allenbach (possibly too old) https://www.findthemissing.org/cases/4528\

NAMUS updated recently to 71 ruleouts - latest addition is
Amber Potts-Jaffary 1972

I didn't see her in our list of considerations. I am glad to see that they are still actively trying to give this young woman her name back!

Two more possibilities: Deanna Merryfield http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/m/merryfield_deanna.html was possibly alive for an extended period of time after she went missing. Martha Dunn http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/d/dunn_martha.html likely ran away with her boyfriend.

I'd never heard of these missing girls before. They could fit many UIDs from the 90s, since they both seem to have runaway and geography wouldn't seemingly be a limiting factor when comparing possible matches. They also could have easily started a new life and never contacted family, since both seemed to have family issues/disagreement prior to their disappearance.

Kristen Smith 1971 Texas

ETA:

Those are the latest additions to the rule out list.
Keep submitting!

What about Laura Anne Hook
1992 Wadesboro NC

LHook.jpg
http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/668dfnc.html

I don't know if she has been mentioned but the age and height are about right. The weight is definitly off but IMO after more than a year on her own could have caused some serious weight loss. Does she look like a possibility to anyone else?

Good find! The company has only been established since 1990, so I wonder if they were distributing much in their first few years of business or if you had to buy in the Florida area.

Not sure if anyone has yet, so I reached out to the company via Facebook to see if they only sold locally during, and prior to, 1993.

Awesome, I was planning to do so but have been too busy with work to get it done.

Hear anything back yet? They seem pretty inactive...
