So Mark was back in his home area by 5.15pm on the 19th.

He wasn’t frantically out looking for his missing child which seems very strange IMO

Break, back at 10:15

I'm having a hard time hearing the FBI agent when he's using the mic at the screen.

Yeah, that mic seems to have a problem, or two

It’s more technical than this, but Mark didn’t use his cell phone for voice calls or texts from 5:48pm 11/18 to 8:42am on 11/19. By “pings”, they can tell he was using the north sector of the tower that covers his house at 8:10am and by 8:42 he was using a tower near Durango. 11:32am - 3:31pm was using the north sector of tower covering his house. 3:47pm he was using the SW sector of the tower…then I got interrupted after that :(

They’re on break now. I took a few notes from earlier in the testimony, I’ll look over and see if there’s anything interesting I forgot to post. If I have time after they get back, I’ll try to post some more updates.

Basically the FBI agent also said that the north sector of the tower covers Mark’s residence and Middle Mountain Rd, so unless they introduce something later that can narrow it down, it doesn’t sound like the actual location portion of the data will be too enlightening in terms of possible disposal of remains. Unless that period on 11/19 where he’s using the SW sector of the tower was possibly the original place he put Dylan’s remains?

(edited - apparently I can’t type today)

I find the times on the 19th morning intriguing as I’m a UK’er so maybe I am barking up the wrong tree. So please tell me I am wrong.

But I am sure Mark originally said he had left home way earlier than what’s showing as Dylan must of wanted to leave by 6am to get to Ryan’s nans for 6.30am . Mark’s story was he woke Dylan up and he wanted no part of it and he left to go into town.

But then why are the mobile pings showing he was still home around 8.10am? That’s way later than what was originally implied I'm sure of it.

I think you’re right, he originally claimed he left 7-7.30am if I recall correctly.
Very interesting that his phone was still pinging around his house area after 8am.

I’m sure Champagne will spell it all out again. He is a good communicator and wants the jury to understand.

Yes as if Dylan is asleep on the couch then Mark moving around and making noise for a few hours I refuse to believe that Dylan wouldn’t of woken up fully in that time frame and gone with him as we know how desperate he was to escape Mark.

IMO

How do you all feel the trial is going? I catch up every night here, I'm in Australia. It's bee such a long time to get to this point. I found seeing Dylan's now grown up peers very sad, Dylan didn't get to grow up. Oh yeah, I had to look at those photos, and yes, of course I wish that I hadn't!
I think the state is meeting its burden of proof. However, reading comments by trial viewers here and elsewhere, the consensus seems to be that defense attorney Moran is extremely annoying! I've read it so often that I hope he's not a distraction that leads to his client getting a new trial (i.e., ineffectiveness of counsel).

My kicker, other than the bear expert, was how Dylan told his friend he would knock on the sliding glass door at his grandmother’s home at 6:30 a.m. and call all day if he didn't answer.

Dylan's friend said he set an alarm and woke up. He expected him to be there. Or to wake up to him knocking on that sliding door.
To be there at 630am they would have to leave a little earlier.

No way did Dylan tell his dad he was too tired to wake up and go.

Dylan's last text sent at 8:07pm.

And responded to nothing after that.

Didn’t MR say he contacted/met with his divorce lawyer on the 19th? I wonder if that was an appointment he made prior to Dylan’s visit or was it an impromptu meeting? I realize the context of this meeting/contact is under attorney/client privilege, but I’m wondering if MR’s divorce lawyer will be a witness as to confirm the information MR has stated. MOO

Marks story may of changed it’s been nearly a decade but I’m sure he said he popped to Walmart or one of you’re guys supermarkets to pick up a few bits for thanksgiving dinner.

Mark’s cell phone doesn’t call Dylan’s cell phone on 11/17, 11/18 and doesn’t call his cell phone until 2:24pm on 11/19. The last time Mark tries to call Dylan’s phone on 11/19 is 7:34pm. He doesn’t try to call him for 12 more hours until 7:19am on 11/20.

I would be calling my kid all night if they disappeared.
