It was pretty disgusting...he almost gave a demonstration.

Defense is done with this "hot potato" of a witness. Very wise, considering that any further questioning would be even worse for MR.

Random thought: MR may have had a small hatchet. I think he had a wood stove in his cabin. Probably an axe, too. Any dismembering would have been done where he left Dylan. (IMO)

Mark said he told Dylan he wasn’t his mum and wasn’t going to tidy up around him and his black t-shirt was shoved into his rucksack.

Mark knew Dylan saw those pics from the last trip when going thru his phone.
With Dylan ignoring Mark for months, Dylan wanting to go straight to his Friends house upon arrival, Mark's obsession with hating Elaine,etc.
Mark was a time bomb that night.
