P: fair to say that CBI uses best instruments available and you are all vigorously trained

Yes, we are

P: counsel asked you about a rug you looked at? were u aware that several areas at the scene tested positive for blood at the lab?

Yes

P: u just looked at the rug and that was it? were u aware it had been tested by luminal? Is that why you stopped examining it?

W:Yes, that and it was so dark I figured I wouldn't be able to see the blood visually?

W:One of the hairs was suitable for nuclear DNA 48.1

P: what were results?

Couldn't develop DNA profile/no genetic info

P:Fair to say each of the items the defense just went through with you, there was NO EVIDENTIARY VALUE

I don’t know if this series was ever made in 2019, but it’s based on this morning’s “expert “ witness and wife Selma. Selma is also on the witness list ( although I’m sure she won’t be called at this late date imo).

Nicole Kidman to Produce Drama Series 'Crime Farm' in Development at WarnerMedia Streaming - Variety

WarerMedia’s streaming service is developing a drama series titled “Crime Farm” with Nicole Kidman attached to executive produce.

The series is described as a psychosexual love story that follows Selma and Richard Eikelenboom, forensic homicide experts whose marriage thrives on their all-consuming investigations into the depravity of the world’s most notorious criminals. As a seminal case upends the paradigm of their relationship, their unique, unconventional and sometimes dangerous arrangement stretches the boundaries of marriage and science to the limit.
I sure hope Hollywood is reading here b/c the powers that be may want to reconsider.

As I'm hoping this witness and the rest of the defense case are almost wrapping up, anyone leaning strongly one way or the other on the defendant testifying?
(I know this has been discussed, wondering if any opinions have changed based on the way the case has progressed).

Sounds like there'd be a part for MR.

I'd be surprised if MR testified.

Not leaning one way or the other as far as killer testifying. Maybe I will be surprised.

I think Mark would love to testify because he thinks he can bash Elaine a few more times and he believes he can smile and play the martyr again---poor victim Mark.

But even these attorneys recognise what a mistake it would be for him to take the stand. I think they would talk him out of it, aggressively.

I get the feeling that MR would love to take the stand. However, won't, upon advice of counsel.

10 min. Recess. Judge: "I really don't want you all to go downstairs."

Judge says they are setting up for next witness. Will be a video witness.

Days I have watched I noted there was little to no interaction between Defendant and his Lawyers.

Judge stated next witness would be quick. I don't know about that.

Mr. Johnson has been standing and pacing, looking forward to this next witness. I’ve seen him do this before. He’s ready…sitting now

While they are setting up for this next witness for Zoom, I overheard the attorneys and judge in court earlier this am. This witness was located in CO, but suddenly had to go to Montana to fight fires. So, I am assuming this will be some kind of outdoor, fire-fighting , mountain man testimony. Lions, and tigers, and Bears!! Oh My!

Pretty much sits there like a bump on a log.
