Moran is trying to repair the damage done with the 'Mail lady's' testimony yesterday
Yep, HIS witness

Goodness, he is so repetitive he can beat stuff in the ground!

Moran attempted to go back to the psychic tips given during the investigation. Soon...a visit to the bench was required. This defense is pathetic. Recalling Cowing to the stand has proved zippo so far

Direct now, and Johnson is clarifying the inconsistent statements regarding Angela Lee's testimony yesterday

Jan Smith, La Platta Cty Coroner is the next witness for the defense.

Defense is working on the premise, that she was not notified of the LE's finding Dylan's remains.

I really can't see how this witness will be any help for the defense. Cross exam will clarify the laws for the state, and exonerate this poor woman and her actions.

LOL! Judge just lent her his reading glasses!

I don't know what to make of that coroner. Did she seem somewhat vague?

Vague.., perhaps a bit 'forgetful'.., with a careless attitude maybe? I don't think she is the coroner anymore. Not sure

ETA: I just rewound, she STILL is acting Coroner for La Platta County

Seems to me too many defense witnesses come to the stand totally unprepared. Then, of course, there are one or two who testify like they are reading from a script

County coroner just sneezed into the lapel of her hoodie. Apparently the new covid protocol.

From first thing this morning ( notice Judge not in robes)

Prosecution: Judge, the Defense has endorsed and apparently intends to call a witness named Freddy Cracium. We have objected in the past and wanted to renew our objection here. This morning in the review of Mr. Cracium’s file in our case it appears that he was a co-worker in the oilfields out in California for several months in the Summer of 2012. His testimony from what I can gather is essentially that Mr. Redwine “loved Dylan very much “. He’s never seen them interact, he’s never been out to the house in Vallecito. He’s never met Dylan and has no personal knowledge of their relationship at all. Everything he would say would be based on the hearsay of MR. We think it would be cumulative. It’s something to play upon the sympathies and prejudice of the Jury and we would object under 401, 402, 403.

Judge : Alright. We’ve already had a hearing on it and you’re still overruled.

MOO: It’s pathetic that this is the only thing Defense can dig up to speak to MR character.
Bumping this. Witness on the stand.^^[

Wow. This witness worked with MR in California for three months. Knows him intimately, safe to say. (Seems a bit of a loose canon, at first impression.)

THIS is the defense case? This is what they came up with after all this time and the delays???

“ My Father didn’t give me a middle name”.

So this witness makes a point that he’s a Motherless child?

Mr. Cranium ...Crasium (sp?) says he is nervous to be testifying. He has slicked back hair and gives off D List Ray Liotta vibes. Currently schmoozing the jury, reminiscing about the time Mark was telling him about Dylan playing baseball and yada yada yada. Completely irrelevant and perfect representation of the weakness of defense case.

The defense team and their witnesses are an embarrassment to our judicial system!
MOO!
