As you well know, to endure all-day trial watching with the likes of this defense team, sarcasm is mandatory. :D

Quite true! :D

Looks like all parties are ready, just waiting on judge to enter and bring the jury in. Prosecutor (can't tell which from this distance) pacing and raring to go.

So we won’t hear any closing statements today as they are going early?

Another meeting today, just got back…in time for rebuttal it sounds like.

So, the defense rested…with a fizzle?

Was MR asked if he wanted to testify?

Yes, judge will send the jury home after the state is done with rebuttal then and they'll do their charge conference to go over the jury instructions, closings tomorrow.

That looks like Mr. Johnson pacing.
Does anyone know who the cougher, throat-clearer is? Is he at Prosecution table?
Does anyone know who the three ladies are who show up every day in gallery behind prosecution side?

This is the first trial I have ever followed from the beginning. I want to thank you ALL for the updates, the play by play and the humorous commentary throughout (it was much needed!). You’re a fine bunch of people and I would watch/read along in any trial with you all! Thank you so much :)

It sounds like we will have closings tomorrow, I saw a tweet that they would be 2 1/2 hours each, is that correct?
Yes, before jury came in this morning Judge & attorneys discussed this. Judge agreed.

Thanks, sleuther! Right now, I'm getting everything I need right here. Not even watching the trial anymore!

I think the prosecution is alleging the witness' friend was who Ms. Lee mistook for Dylan, and the witness was the other kid who was mistaken for a boy.

I'll bet a lot of her customers got the wrong mail.
