Trials are hard on Jurors too. They view evidence most of us never see. Whatever decision Jurors make they have to live with it.
Fortunately for jurors this isn't a death penalty trial.

Is this common ? I would hate if they had a verdict for them to drag out the family’s pain for any longer than necessary.

In another homicide trial, the verdict came in on a Friday before a three day weekend. Everyone had to wait till Tuesday to hear it.

Maybe just a question on how to fill out the verdict forms? They can sometimes be confusing. I missed the jury instructions, were they pretty straight forward?
