Just came over from FB - and have updated my notes!

UPDATE!! 6/16/21 Wednesday, Jury Selection Day 3: They never resumed jury selection this afternoon as scheduled. Court (web ex) is done for the week & will resume at 8am on Monday, 6/21/21 to pick the final 16 & opening statements in afternoon.

I wonder what his excuse will be about the blood found over the living room as the house had a massive fire so was all redone and Dylan hadn’t visited in between I think I remember. So that’s a hard one to explain away especially considering his son then ended up dead.

His defense will say someone else visited the house while he was running errands, assaulted and kidnapped Dylan there, then dumped him up on Middle Mountain road.

The intruder who left no evidence behind did it defense. It didn't work for Darlie Routier but you never now with juries these days.

Casey Anthony was acquitted by a jury that used a lawyers made up story about an accidental drowning as evidence. Hopefully this jury gets it right. JMO

I'm not sure if the defense will claim Dylan was kidnapped and killed by some unknown person. Most juries like to see evidence to back up such claims.

I think they will try to instill reasonable doubt by attacking the states case. The states main evidence is the blood and "cadaver" dog alerts.

We don't know much about the blood evidence found in MR's home. Was it tiny little amounts. Was there evidence of a clean up attempting to destroy that evidence?

The HRD dog alerts can certainly be challenged as being unreliable. Was any corroborating evidence found in MR's truck to support the HRD dog alert? What were the dogs trained with? Some are trained with decomposing human blood. Was that the cause of all of the HRD dog alerts.

It will be interesting to see what the defense will do in this case. JMO

This article has some information from the indictment about the blood evidence found and more.

"As they searched for evidence into the disappearance and death of the teenage boy, investigators found his blood in multiple locations inside his father’s home, including a couch, the corner of a coffee table, on the floor beneath a rug and on a love seat.

During another search, on Aug. 5, 2013, a K9 was introduced into the suspect’s home to find more clues into the boy’s death. The dog was able to sniff out the scent of a cadaver in various locations of Mark’s home, including the living room and the washing machine, as well as on the clothes Mark wore the night Dylan disappeared, the indictment shows.

On Feb. 13, 2014, another search with the K9 was conducted at Mark’s home, which pointed to the scent of a cadaver on Mark Redwine’s Dodge pick-up truck, including the bed of the truck."

I was never prepared for masked bandits with the Arias case, I certainly was prepared for the masked bandits in the Mollie Tibbits case. Maybe Mark Redwine will produce a few black masked bandits. Well, the others were stupid enough to throw that in at the last minute. Lol!

Colorado don't play....The new law passed about tampering with a corpse will help bury him under the jail, Hopefully..

I can't wait to see/hear blood evidence testimony and the fact that the prosecution rebuilt Mark's living room, wow.

Any word on if they'll back these recordings up or will I have to record all day.
