I was thinking they would love to hear what LS has to say. She can't keep her mouth shut. This would be the last opportunity before she either hires a lawyer or is appointed a lawyer.

Oh I’m sure they’d love to hear to talk. I’m just saying, that should she actually not have diarrhea of the mouth, it could be a boring, convo-less trip. That could apply to riding with any criminal really.

I wonder if it's to separate the good memories of his son from the negative memories of that house now being thought of as a crime scene. I think if I were in his position, I would want to separate myself and the memories of my son away from that house as much and as soon as possible. I'd have a hard time even walking into that place again knowing something happened there. JMO.

In my opinion AS feels that the house is just a house not a HOME now. Clean out, keep some treasure items and make a family home with the loving memories of his children. There is a rental house standing empty not too far from me. A mom took the lives of her 3 children and self. The house stands as it was left with memorials in the yard. Couple years ago.

I never watched the other video. No way. I knew I couldn't take it. Try not to let my mind wander about how things happened, what happened....
But seeing that tape of him getting into the truck, wondering if he had any idea...oh God. It makes me sick. It creeps into my thoughts and I just fall apart all over. And when I see the picture of him at GotG...again, just sickens me to think that in a matter of hours later, that little boy would be gone.

This is me & the difficulty I have as well @JTR1973 . The only difference is that I, unfortunately, did watch/listen to the video. Although it gave me some insight into what possibly happened & the dynamics of this family, it is haunting so do yourself a favor and don't watch it. Once I heard it I can't get the cries of Gannon out of my head and then I go to what he must have thought & had to endure. Although my mind has wandered into what he must have thought or known when he got into the truck that morning, I try to immediately think of something else. It's unbearable.

My DH & kids have seen me cry many times over the past month. DH asks me why I keep reading, researching, and being involved if it upsets me so much. Ever since I saw the first pic of Gannon and heard he was missing, I felt a connection as I'm sure many of you did. Now I feel I owe it to this sweet, amazing little boy to stay invested & see this through to him being found and getting justice. My mind just can't even fathom the evil & absence of a soul that a person would have to have to do something like this to anyone, let alone a child! I trust that Gannon's goodness will ultimately prevail over her evil, guiding LE to find him and locking that monster away forever. It guts me that he had to endure this and that his goodness couldn't save him from her during his life.

I'll never forget Gannon, those pics that first drew me in, and the stories of his personality & spirit that have made us all fall in love with him! I will not loose hope that he will be found! However I do have to remind myself to take a break when it all gets too much, a luxury that sadly Gannon was not given.

we don't know the reason for the delay in her getting back to Colorado, although I would have given a lot to be in with those detectives, but there is a reason, maybe a flight delay, maybe she agreed to talk, maybe they made a deal with her, who knows......maybe she even agreed to ride with detectives to certain spots and not bringing her to the jail first kept the press from knowing what vehicle they were in and they couldn't follow......Im just ready for Gannon to be found.....

The best thing for LE to do would be to let her talk. Letting her out on bond would be great - theres no way she wont want to give interviews or post online. Lying backwards isn't really working for her. Any time she is presented with a new piece of evidence she lies it away. I wonder how much false evidence LE presented her with to catch her in lies. Sort of like:
LE: we see that 900 miles were put on the rental car.
LS: no, I only drove to such and such a place to look for him.
The info she gave about Gannon soiling his pants... I believe thats most likely true. She may think (know) evidence of that event can (will) be found so she offered it up. The reason behind it was probably a lie. She may have physically abused him or terrified him to the point where he became incontinent but she has the confidence that her partial truth (lie by omission) will hold up. The video she posted on FB with Gannon crying, that is obviously a true and actual event. I assume the lie about it would be something like he was so upset that we might lose the house and that we would be in so much trouble that he ran away. I'm not sure if she completed the lie for that one though. She might be thinking her shaky voice/false panic in that recording was enough.

She must be spilling so much information in the form of half-truths to LE while thinking it's giving her alibis. I say let her out on bond and keep filling in those blanks LS.

I know some people here joined the FB group that was in support of her. What is going on over there?

My membership was very short lived. One minute I was approved and next minute I was blocked.

Hey everyone! Was taking a break from WS because I was a little consumed. Anyway, this may have been asked and answered, but I’m curious as to how the charge of child abuse which resulted in death can hold water without either of the following: 1. A body 2. A witness or 3. Surveillance?

Admittedly, I am not familiar with what evidence constitutes this charge, and it could be just that she murdered him in general and that constitutes abuse?

However, in my mind, given the charges, I feel like there has to be some damning evidence. I know we’ve seen cases where a conviction is made without a body (Ie PF), but in that case, was there not an enormous amount of blood evidence found? Again not super familiar with the specifics of that case.

There's no way this is the only thing she videoed.
I'm sure her phone is a treasure trove of evidence.
WHAT DID SHE DO TO HIM??? This is so disturbing.

Not that I really want to watch it again, but I've seen two versions of this video and I never saw what you describe.

In both that I watched, she moves from a bedroom area with what appears to be his little sister in a bed laying on her side (sucking her thumb, it appears), then through the living/rec room area where the tv is on, quickly through the kitchen area, and then the screen goes black until the very end where the camera is right side up, and it shows an empty bed, with bedding that looks very similar to the bedding it showed at the beginning, with little sister.

The versions I've seen never show Gannon at all, all you can hear is her blathering like a psychopath, and him crying, a lot.
The only differences in these videos is that one has TS babbling about "don't know what to do" or something like that at the beginning, and the other one has a faint voice at the end that some say is Gannon saying "I'm bleeding".

So I'm curious how many versions of this video exist?

I don't know why she released it. Maybe because she thought it showed he "did something wrong" that night. It is obvious she knew it was filming, IMO. Even after the glimpse of him it's like she realized the angle and covered the lens so the screen goes completely dark and you only hear audio. I don't know why she would ever think this would help her case. It is so very damning and disturbing. IMO, Laina is going to be a key witness in this case. There's no way she didn't hear or see what happened to Gannon to cause him to become injured on Sunday evening.

I hope we can all safely assume LE is aware of the video and has a copy in their possession... of both versions (with and without the “I’m bleeding” part. I know many people believe that part was added/edited in later, but others have said it may have been the original video, which was then edited to exclude/crop out that part).

She'd have a good idea of what happened as the other child was pretty young.

Who knows what threats from LS may have been levied against her before the arrest ?

The transporting officers' ears are probably bleeding at this point.

The beauty of it is that she's been Mirandized, so whatever she says to them will likely be admissible in court.

TS is incapable of keeping her yap shut, and I mean that in a literal sense.
She's a compulsive talker.

I think it's entirely possible that LE made the conscious decision to transport her back via vehicle precisely because it would give her yet another golden opportunity to dig her own grave with her mouth.

No way that trip would pass in silence.

Now I'm really hoping they did drive instead of fly.

If it were me god forbid I would remove his items. I would want his things close to me because that is all that I would have of him. Those items are treasures.

I think everyone deals with grief differently. Some hold on to things and want to keep the room exactly the same forever, and some need to remove the memories as soon as possible because it is just too painful to look at. He might also be giving things to LH that she might want. With so many family in from out of town, they would be a great help in getting some items back to SC.

We have to remember that his wife, his partner, whom he entrusted with the care of his children is responsible for his sons death. So the myriad of emotions he is feeling right now has got to be overwhelming and extremely difficult.

If I had to ride in the vehicle/plane with her... I'd be torn between letting her blab and reveal more or stuffing a sock in her mouth.
I feel for those who are forced to have any contact with her at all.

They’d have to prove abuse, TS did it, and Gannon is dead as a result of it.

You don’t need a tremendous amount of blood to do that, as long as you have something to corroborate the events.

The last case Dan May’s office prosecuted without a body, there wasn’t a great deal of physical evidence found at the murder scene. They certainly didn’t discover enough blood to prove that the victim was dead.

What they did have though, was a witness. This witness provided an account of the events, and physical evidence backed it up.

To prove the abuse aspect here, I’d be stunned if one or both daughters didn’t tell law enforcement what they witnessed.

So I think they described abuse, and physical evidence in the home supported it.

The biggest question is how they were able to establish that Gannon is dead (besides common sense). We’ll see the affadavit soon enough, but I expect there to be some sort of physical evidence that proves it (Gannon’s DNA in the rental car, cadaver dog hits, or something else significant).

With the additional information that has come out lately, just as we have always thought, I think LS was giving us little details bit by bit of what happened to Gannon. As she was explaining away things we thought we suspicious, she was really telling a story. Here is what I can assume, so far, from what we know or have pieced together.
It's been impossible to keep up with these threads so I apologize if this has been posted ad nauseam.

Obviously, this is all IMOO and speculation:
1- I think the bags she was carrying to the truck in the video posted by the neighbor contained evidence.
2- Possibly or probably a board the somehow got his blood on it and/ or was used to hurt him.
3- I think she backed the truck up to the driveway because Gannon had head/ facial injuries and this way there would be less of a chance of his face being picked up on surveillance cameras. With these severe injuries it would also explain why he was walking slow.
4- Saucer sized pool of blood was from Gannon's facial/ head injuries.
5- Also why she said the carpet was ruined... so she could dispose of ruined carpet evidence

Still piecing things together but I think these are glaring and obvious.

Original showed his face throughout.
His face did not appear to be marked or bruised.
It was his body language rather than his words tone or even physical injuries deduced from his breathing sounds that were most terrifying.That was the original vid, I saw it in full, right side up once she reached his bed side.
I perceived it to be evidence of pre meditation.. proof he was alive at 10.50pm on Sunday night, even though he should have been fast asleep if next day was a school day. In it Laina covered her face as TS approached in a gesture signalling a reluctance to witness what was about to befall her brother, yet again, that night.JMO
