Just watched the <RSBM> coverage of this on YouTube really interesting.

This is not MSM and I'm not even sure any of the content has ever been mentioned by MSM or LE so, best to run all that by a mod, before posting.

I've skimmed through the back end of the last thread and the beginning of this thread, so forgive me if this has been discussed.

It feels like the stop in Saline may actually be pretty important, Re: the rental car. I'm not sure if we've gotten any kind of confirmation on the actual mileage driven, but Saline is close to the distance that could have been driven in that time period with the questioned mileage. I wonder if she's started talking and there will be a stop on the route back towards CS? I've always felt that east is the direction Gannon ended up, and this puts them right on that path. Otherwise, if they had multiple drivers, not quite sure of the stop then and there.

BBM

Even with multiple drivers, they need to stay alert as they are guarding a prisoner. It also wouldn't be good for LE to have a car accident because they didn't stop to rest. And it is more than 1700 miles from Myrtle Beach to Colorado Springs.

Personally I think the stop is unrelated to the rental car. Obviously I can't know that but if they are stopping to search for evidence, it doesn't make sense they left Kansas in the middle of the night to continue on to CO. I'd also think they need to coordinate with local LE to process the scene. I wouldn't think they'd just toss evidence found along the way (if TS is talking) into the trunk. Of course, maybe they did that. I guess we'll eventually find out!

Do you have a link to the other one

ETA:does anyone else remember this or did I dream it?

<modsnip: quoted post was removed>

I don't think she concealed the body at all. This is because her ORIGINAL story was that he left her house between 2-3 to walk to a friends house. IMO he died in the car from a concussion after she beat him over the head in a fit of rage the night before. I also think this is why she stated that he was "pooping his pants." If my theory is correct and he died in the car his body would have released after death. So she's explaining that away.

Knowing that the head injury is likely what killed him she'd stage a crime scene making it look like he fell. So I think she would throw him off a ravine or throw him next to train tracks to explain his blunt trauma to his head. (I am basing this on her original statements and the way she seemed like she was so sure that people would apologize. I am also basing this on her obvious growing frustration. The longer it takes them to find the body the less her "story" can match the details. So IMO she wanted him to be found right away but can't say anything to indicate where he might be.

Only after they found the blood did she change the story to an abductor coming to the house. Only after the video footage came out did she start talking about the side gate key. (To explain why he wasn't on camera leaving the front door path.)

But who knows. I just think the timeline adds up and her truths within her lies are revealing.

BTW I apologize for reposting my ideas. These threads go by so fast and sometimes a new person quotes and I'm not sure they read the old one.

I doubt her attorneys would allow LS to be interviewed again by Leigh. But it would be awesome if it happened anyway. MOO

Have we heard anything about whether the judge will grant the defense’s request to limit/exclude media? And is there something at 1:30 today? I can’t remember.
TS does have a court hearing today,
I've been trying to find out if it will be live streamed but I doubt it
I thought it was cheduled for 1 or 1.30 not too sure?
I imagine we will begin to see something about this reported once she's back and booked in.
If she makes it back in time after her scenic travels and prison pitstops :)

Whoops. I just realized as well. I hope I can edit it in time.

I deleted the name! Thank you!

She rented that car for a reason, and it just has to have served some purpose here.

I agree. Imo, reasons she rented the car...
To dispose of evidence and go unnoticed or to move Gannon and go unnoticed. I cannot think of any other reason for the rental car.

I suspect her name scramble is what allows her to pass background checks when she applies for jobs. A school teacher is supposed to have a spotless background. Applications specifically ask if you are known by any other names.
I don’t know much about teacher certification. In my position as special investigator for licensing and disciplinary actions for physicians - we went deep into backgrounds before issuing licenses. A complete CV was required with a timeline beginning with high school graduation up until date of application. All activities, residences, employment and education had to be documented showing the complete life progression with absolutely no gaps in time that couldn’t be accounted for. Even if they were on vacation, sabbatical or unemployed. Any gap of time that was unaccounted for would kick the application out for investigation. It’s a very intensive process. Many interns and residents were not expecting this type of requirement. It would take some several months up to a year to complete the licensure application process.

Do you think they will try to sneak her in.. ?
I'm thinking of the poor reporters camped outside again;)

I doubt they can but there might only be a view from the car. I do wonder what they drove. Someone asked about her having to use the bathroom and how that works. Either they have a van type thing with a bathroom or they stop at police departments and use their holding cell toilets. I would think the police department situation would be a huge headache though and take a lot of time to secure that toilet, then re search her, then get back in the car. If there was a van with a toilet, then it would probably be a lot safer. No one reported seeing them stopping to use toilets and I would think doing that could cause safety issues if the media flew out and started following them. Then you risk being on open road with crazy people too who might want to kill her. Just my guess anyway

The objection said tentatively scheduled for 1:30. Of course, its just an advisement so probably not much to see but it would be interesting to see her on camera in front of a judge again. Judge Larry Schwartz, Division 5. I wonder if he'll remain the judge through the entire case. Former D.A.

Jumping in real quick~Inmate TS carries, in her left hand, a long thin object as she goes to move the truck to driveway the morning RD’s video captured her leaving house Monday. Something akin to the shape of a bat.

She thinks she is smarter than everyone else. I think she will have a hard time following directions from her attorney. I also think she will be trying to get a "big name" lawyer to represent her because I think she sees herself as quite the celebrity.
... but she cannot afford a big name attorney. To qualify for her PD she had to be indignant.

If she put Gannon in the rental car she'd know that she'd sink herself. She rented the car AFTER he went missing. She's got to know that DNA evidence would transfer so there's no way she'd risk putting him in a rental car.

I think she may have gone back to look at the staged death scene and to dispose of other evidence. She got a rental car because she didn't want the cops or neighbors to recognize her vehicle.

This is why I say within her lies there are truths that tell the real story. Her logical explanation of why she got a rental car is so that Gannon wouldn't run away if he saw the family car because he was afraid.

She's flat out telling us her motivation for renting the car. She knew her regular truck was recognizable. She didn't want to be seen and recognized when she revisited where she put his body.

And she's also revealing another truth, he's afraid of her and would run from her.

Poster said she is meeting with public defender at 1:30 pm today. Still think they met earlier. Jmo

She's in the Saline Co jail about 20 minutes to the north of me as I type this. When I woke up and found this out it was really disconcerting, but then I realized the officers driving her obviously needed to get a good night's sleep and where better to house her than in a jail. Saline County posts their booking information so I wonder if we'll see her photo later today.

That would have completely made sense had they not booked her in at 3:30PM yesterday afternoon! They’re only about 5 hours away from the final destination. Something else is up. You don’t stop for the night at 3pm

For those just checking in TS was released from Salina jail at 2:54 a.m.
Central time, 1:54 Mountain time.

Thanks, I wasn't sure what an advisement hearing was so I've just looked it up and posted incase anyone else is interested?

"Advisement hearings" in Colorado criminal court cases

1. What happens during an advisement hearing in Colorado criminal court?
An advisement hearing is usually your first court appearance in the Colorado criminal court process. This is where the judge may:

  • advise the accused of what crimes he or she is suspected of committing,
  • advise the accused of the charges the district attorney (DA) plans to prosecute,
  • ask if the accused has an attorney, and
  • set bond for the accused.
Advisement hearings may vary by county. A suspect may appear for one or two advisement hearings, and an advisement hearing may be combined with a bond hearing.

An “advisement hearing” and “arraignment” are not the same thing. The advisement hearing is to tell the suspect about the investigation or possible charges. The arraignment is when the suspect enters a plea.

1.1. First Advisement Hearing in Colorado
Depending on the county, the 1st advisement hearing will be the first court appearance after an arrest. This generally takes place shortly after arrest, usually the next business day, although it could occur on a weekend.

When the accused appears before the judge, the judge will advise the accused that he or she under investigation on suspicion of committing a crime. An investigation generally means the prosecutor has not filed charges yet and may be deciding what charges to file or whether to file charges at all.

The judge will set bond during the advisement hearing in Colorado, except for homicide investigations.

The judge may also advise the accused of his or her rights and ask whether the accused has an attorney, plans to hire a lawyer, or needs to have a public defender appointed. Before the accused can get a public defender, he or she has to meet certain income-level requirements.

Another thing:

If LS was innocent, her response to learning about a bloody board would have been “Why would someone assume a board they found out in the woods is connected to Gannon? I pray it’s not because that would mean someone harmed him.”

Not admitting immediately that there probably could be a bloody board and sock out there and offering an explanation.

Well she never was good at pretending to care for Gannon. She sucks at a cover up. At least, cry on tv and get a photo of you walking as if youre searching with everyone else. Send out some facebook prayers.

Boards flying out of a truck that happen to have blood on them is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Or that they dump boards from AS woodworking hobby. I dont think anyone does that. Tiny scraps you just toss in the trash. Looking at their garage, it wasn't immaculate or anything where you might expect all spare wood to be disposed of immediately. Then to also say that people dump wood on the side of the road? No they don't. Maybe my state is different, but we have large trash pick up once a month and thats when people throw out miscellaneous wood. There is no need here to load up a truck, drive 40 min away, and dump scrap lumber. Not for a hobbyist. And dumping is illegal. That would be an incredibly stupid thing for middle class adults with curbside trash pick up to risk getting busted for.
