Self absorbed? Yes. Smart? No. She’s just as dumb. If not dumber. Ya i’d Bet her next lie she followed those cases and the Moorer’s.
She also just admitted to following Harley Dilly who went missing found in a chimney.
Moo
I’m sorry because I stated that wrong. I meant to say she is too self absorbed and THINKS she is too smart. She’s not smart at all. Yes, dumb and dumber fits her well.

Gummy bears, cookies, etc. that contain marijuana usually taste slightly different than their regular, non-laced counterparts so I'm not sure it would have been easier. An 11 year old surely would have questioned a "weird" taste. Also there aren't really any dispensaries in Colorado Springs so she would have had to have gotten any of that elsewhere. Trust me. I live in Colorado and have extensive knowledge of this industry, not through personal use but through business.

Also keep in mind, no one really overdoses on marijuana. If she gave him a large dose, he would have probably just gone to sleep. It wouldn't kill him, even in the extreme.

Uh... there are plenty of dispensaries in Colorado Springs. PLENTY. One about 1/2 mile down Nevada from Petco and probably half a dozen within a mile along Fillmore. They're literally all over town.

There are several volunteer search and rescue groups in the Springs and surrounding areas. Probably many fire fighters, EMTs, and police are trained in climbing rescues given all the outdoor activities people take part in here. As far as I know, flight for life is only used in rescues when someone has actually been found injured and cannot be walked or carried (vehicle/foot) out due to remoteness of the location or seriousness of the injury.

I had a friend who was on Flight for Life some thirteen years ago. Her horse stepped in a hole and cartwheeled while she was trail riding him on a ranch. She vaguely remembers her flight but not the time in the ICU. She seemed lucid, but couldn't remember anything from that time. After time in the hospital and rehab, she was discharged home almost four weeks later. Her first trip out of the house was to check her horse because she didn't believe us when we said he was just a little stiff and sore after the accident.

As a GAL volunteer in S.C., I had to undergo a month of training. The role of GAL should be non biased. I’ve never seen a family member appointed GAL. “Guardian”? Yes. But not GAL to represent the child’s interest in court.
Bless you for volunteering for a job that can be heartbreaking, rewarding, consume your every thought and mean everything to a child and their future!

Dunno, I’d like to know too. The main point is that it’s Sunday, and nothing was visibly wrong with Gannon then.

That all came later.
Yep, that footage at 1 something in the afternoon, definitely gives LE a solid timeline. Less than 21 hours later, according to RD-

“I was looking back and I saw them, and they were outside Sunday playing. It was before Monday,” Drayton said. “She backed up and said, ‘Gannon you get on this side, Laina you get on the other side,’ because I could hear what they were saying. My camera picks up sound and everything. I got them coming. I got him getting out of the car Sunday and running to the house. He was perfectly fine.”

“On Sunday he looked fine. He was running around playing with his sister. On Monday, he looked drugged, he looked sick. He could barely walk.”

TS is toast, the evidence is going to convict her IMO. Even if Gannon is never found.

There is a repair record found by a poster, that showed back in July 2019, the car had 900 miles on it. So it would have had much more than that when T Rented it. Or for some reason accurate mileage is not important to that rental company.

Oh dear, I missed hearing about the repair record. Do you happen to have a link, or is this old news already?

I wish I could have done more. I am not a “feely” person, but it absolutely devastated me on more than one occasion.

Where is this at? I am so far behind
I don't know how to post it but YouTube dadwithaphone and there's a video of a 40 min call. It starts all glitchy but keep listening.

@kittythehare Looks like from TS house in Fountain to Castle Rock with a stop at the Petco on North Nevada Ave is 1 hr 40 minutes one way. Not counting shopping time and traffic. This is if she took -I25 . The alternative would be Hwy 83 , IMO wouldn’t save time unless there was heavy traffic or a wreck. Oops she said she got lost, also. This is giving me a headache.
some local people told me 30-45 minutes her home to Petco but stated 45 Petco to Castlerock.. I wish somebody better than I, almost anybody, could do the math on this.. Had she 5 minutes to kill and dispose of him or had she 30 minutes? It matters for a search.
It's really confusing.
Again these are her words and we know she lies. BUT assuming she did make the two visits to Petco, I happened to see the original times, first was 11, second after 1pm.. but again Tee's words..
It can be done, we can factor in the stop duration to kill/dispose of him ...

Nice day today along the front range. Took a circular drive Perry Park Rd./105 south then followed 105 east across the interstate over to 83 (Black Forrest) then back over to West side of interstate, to 105, north on Spruce MTN & a quick drive on Noe Rd.. So basically a big circle trying to include as much basic search area as possible. It's Monday & time mirrors T's drive on 27th. Hate to say it but driving it sure brings home the vast area to be searched. Sooo many little side jaunts off these roads. It's really disheartening. The
positives however:
Lots of traffic most places (don't these people work?),hardly any snow at all, Noe Rd. (Dirt) was not busy at all, many trees & relatively few homes here. I got a feeling this area was best suited for stopping & not being observed You would still have to be fast & out of your mind worried that someone would come along...
Different topic-- Saw mention of Flight for Life involvement in earlier searches. I noticed they mentioned this was only in case of emergency with searchers themselves.

Thank you so much for your on-the-ground perspective. Really smart to take that drive on a Monday afternoon. I'm from the area but so much has changed so rapidly.

FFL was there to search, not as a precaution for the searchers. They don't fly "on standby," but they do on occasion fly just to search from the air in special circumstances, and Gannon being so young and endangered was certainly a factor.

It's waaaaay too expensive and dangerous for them to stay in the air just in case a responder gets hurts. Sometimes they'll have an ambulance park and stand-by just in case a searcher gets hurt, but even that is uncommon.

“He could barely walk’: #GannonStauch neighbor confirms security footage dates after stepmother’s murder arrest [EXCLUSIVE] crimeonline.com/

Leigh Egan on Twitter
I felt that he looked incapacitated when walking to the car. I know a lot of people couldn't see it, but it seemed strange to me that he was walking so slowly when she was walking so quickly. It was also strange to me that she paused at the door when he was standing there, almost as though she was helping him in or something.

Later, when people questioned it I started second guessing myself, thinking that he was walking while playing on his Switch or something, and that's why he was moving slow.

But with the neighbor's statement, I know feel a little more confident in my initial hunch that he was moving sluggishly because he was incapacitated in some way.

Of course this is all JMO. Maybe one day we'll see the non-pixelated longer version of the video that the neighbor talks about.

I am so thankful that he came forward!

Thank GOD for RD and his home camera !!!!!
LS may or may not have disabled her own home cameras but she didn't realize or think about all the neighbors' cameras. Especially RD's camera.
Her goose is cooked.
The neighbor directly across the street has a ring camera, nothing has been mentioned in the media, so we don't know for certain if there is footage. But like you, I bet we'll see more evidence (including Sunday night) that cooks her goose, when the PC affidavits are published.

I think you made a good contribution. I wonder on what basis LE took her passport? Wouldn't TS need to be a suspect?

I feel like she has very limited understanding of legal rights and obligations, and they could have phrased it in a way that convinced her that voluntary surrender of her passport would help convince them of her cooperation, etc., and why should she care, because it's not like she's leaving the country anyway, right?

Just saw this:

Gannon Stauch's Dad Files for Divorce from Stepmom After She's Accused of Killing Missing Boy

Gannon Stauch's stepmom, Letecia Stauch, is accused of murdering him

By Chris Harris
March 09, 2020 12:50 PM
Late last week in Colorado, Eugene Albert Stauch initiated divorce proceedings against the woman accused of murdering his 11-year-old son, Gannon.

PEOPLE obtained online court records that confirm Staunch, 37, filed for divorce from his wife, Letecia Staunch, 36, on Thursday — just days after authorities detained her in South Carolina.

Letecia Staunch was extradited last week to Colorado to face first-degree murder, child abuse resulting in death, and tampering charges, all stemming from the disappearance and presumed murder of her step-son, Gannon Stauch.

I have no idea, but I think we have a couple lawyers that post here that might know! I think @oviedo is one? Forgive me if I'm wrong.

Either way, it makes me happy knowing that she knew deep down that they were looking at her. People don't have their passports taken away for no reason at all. I hope she was shaking in fear when she was by herself at night, remembering all the awful things that she did and said, knowing that her day of reckoning is coming.

A driver's license is property of the state, and can be rescinded, right? Same with a passport? Or am I wrong?
