Same. And I took it as they help abused children in general but that most had been sexually abused. :( I too, am hoping it was generalized questions about emotional or physical abuse and not anything more substantial.:(

Sometimes you just have to remember the title of the document to keep your attention on the problem at hand ESPECIALLY in kid cases. The Complaints are the 4 Counts that follow. The Information part contains the endorsed people that were talked to. Best example is when (I'm taking liberty here) someone called the Butler County Ohio Coroner's Office and talked to (most likely) the office manager, asking some kind of question perhaps on a case that one of the LE remembered working on or was involved in. That's the reason why the secretary's name appears as an endorsed witness...because she gave the LE officer the answer. It is MHO that it could have been an FBI agent as there is a field office in Cincinnati. And then again, the field office could have referred the LE TO the BCCO. It doesn't necessarily mean that this person appearing on the list will be called in the court as a witness. At least that's the way it used to go. So you see why you just kind of tuck these things into your brain and carry on with "the facts".

i recall seeing something relating to the Tile tracking thing on the witness list and found this interesting as it was first thing that popped up in a google search on how to track a nintendo switch
Correct-- you can purchase a tracking device such as the Tile tracking for the Nintendo Switch game.

If there is blood spatter then maybe it points to a gun being used ?
But that wasn't mentioned in the complaint doc. link.
Warning graphic, but blood splatter could also be a factor if a 2x4 was used. The swinging action of hitting someone in the head would most likely splatter blood on walls and ceiling. JMO

Me too Angel. Me too. I had to take my hands away from the keyboard earlier. Too much. I can not break Landen’s image from my mind sitting in that courtroom. All of this is too much for me. I can only the strength she pulled out from within from the very beginning. She stood. She spoke.

I don’t even want to read here. It’s too real. I don’t like it.

But. Of course. I will. Because.

I came across this article earlier. I think LS could have written several of these. I’ll only post the link as the source has previously been accepted and is topical and relevant. I keep staring at her images. What is going on in her mind?
Intense emotions drive my stare at her face. I have several photos saved so it’s strange seeing the differences. I want her punished.
Step parents on what they think about their step children | Daily Mail Online

Yeah, no surprise. It’s human nature unfortunately. I once knew a girl who’s stepmother was so sweet to the outside world, but when she told me how much she hated her and her brother it shocked me. She said she really didn’t want anything to do with them, but put on a really good face when others were around. Had nannies, tutors and drivers deal with them 99% of time. Constantly complained about them to her spouse. Wanted all of his attention and money spent on the child she had with him. I actually thought this woman was one of the nicest humans I had ever met. Extremely well-mannered and charming especially for her young age. She was only about 10 years older than the step kids.

I read in an earlier thread "she wouldn't do this in broad daylight unless she had to" (paraphrasing), and that got me thinking... why would she do it in broad daylight vs. at night? I think it's pretty much assumed the brunt of the abuse happened before Monday, and if she knew he was going to die, wouldn't it make more sense to do something at night?

I tend to think she did it during the day, but, and that's big but, we haven't seen any or heard of any video of late Monday night and what nefarious things LS might have been up to. So anything is possible. There's a chance Gannon could have been hidden in the truck though not likely IMO.

RD would have been more helpful by showing it to AS and reporting it to LE. Then button-up about it.
On Crimeonline RD says he didn't release the tapes. The news media did, and they were told not to. There is more footage that was given to LE that the public hasn't seen.

What did she buy, lunch for one or two?
I'm guessing just something to drink. Maybe use the restroom? I've seen some Subways connected to convenience stores, even truck stops with showers, etc. I'm sure that's not the case here, or someone would have already mentioned it.

What’s that got to do with this case?
Didn't the rental car have a TX license plate? Maybe that is where the rental car was from....

Has anyone heard any reports of LE out searching in that same area from yesterday? Nothing on EPCSO, just wondering.

One aspect of the upcoming trial will in fact be how to handle all the surveillance video evidence. It makes no sense to pull dozens of different custodians of those records to the stand. It would make for an inordinately long trial.

What they will probably do is use an FBI expert witness in the collection and verification of surveillance video. I suspect the jury will be able to understand an expert summary, with clips. That witness will be very persuasive. No need to involve the entire neighborhood.

If LE really did find a bloody board TS really helped them out by hinting that it flew out of her truck. It wasn't long after that interview that she was arrested.

Imo

I imagine if he was vomiting and there was internal bleeding it could potentially cause blood spatter as well.

Thank you. I don't have a way to watch. Does anyone remember what day RD said this happened? Seems it would have had to be Mon or Tues before TS was gone from the house. And I still don't see why RD wouldn't just look at the video himself but maybe that's just what I would do in that situation. If I saw a child that maybe was maybe wasn't GS, then I'd go to one of the Stauchs.

<modsnip: quoted post was removed>

Had that video not gotten out to the public, worldwide and local interest in the case would have been virtually zero. Other kids went missing in CS during the period Gannon has been gone, but it's the dramatic reveal of a lying stepmom that got everyone's attention.

This case would not be on thread 36 otherwise. And all the businesses that quickly cooperated and reviewed video tapes (and Petco employees who went public with their own observations) would not have been aware of the case. Going door to door is not enough - public attention is needed.

For every Gannon, there are 1999 other children reported missing, every day (of whom, about 200 are still missing after 48 hours).

I think LE's own statements to RD ("this is the break we needed") were meant to be public. And the public has responded with enormous concern and help.

No offense to all the teachers out there, but saying "an electronic" instead "a Kindle" sounds like school system-speak to me.

Yes. All inclusive term. Iphones, androids, ipads, tablets, switch, macbooks and a myriad of other supporting items.

MOO LS is guity of a heinous crime, but calling a kid's Switch "electronics" is pretty normal, and vaguely complimentary, as in: you have so many gadgets we call them by their classification name.

No particular video! It was just a general offer... "Would you like to look through my video footage to see if it captured him leaving?"
correct , to look for him leaving after 3pm to go play at a friends ... Roderick said SM said wasn’t interested in looking at video

No.
She is a person who, chose to make a decision to beat on GS.
Then made a decision to disappear him because she couldn't explain away his abused body.

She has a problem: anger and choosing to lash out.

Its patently obvious she has an anger issue. My point is it is far more complex than simply that and I am interested in the fuller picture.

Failing to stop oneself from doing something is not the same as waking up and choosing to commit that act.

I completely agree with you. RD's released video and then the infamous interview with TS with her back to the camera really brought the case the attention it needed. I knew as soon as I saw that interview that she was involved.
