Just a thought i had. I haven't sleuthed anyone who is off limits, but i am just wondering since LS said that HH was at work that day, and there are 3 different Subways listed on the witness list, i wonder if HH works at one of these Subways and maybe LS visited her at work that day.

Which supports the theory that by the time AS arrived back in CS, he would have already had many suspicions about LS. He talked to RD on Tuesday, RD would have told him of the offer the previous night (or that morning). Naturally, RD was first focused on the time from 3:15-4 pm and surely had watched that segment by Tuesday night.

So, on Tuesday, LS rents a car, uses a full tank of gas, has it for 28 hours, does not (to our knowledge) go "door to door" looking for Gannon. AS arrives sometime just before noon (and either is or isn't picked up by LS - we don't know), and at some point, he speaks to LE (and it wasn't just a 5 minute conversation, I am sure). Landen arrives sometime around 4-6 IIRC, and she then speaks to LE (and MSM says that was an "all night" conversation.) Where is LS during this entire time?

Tooling around in that rental car? I personally believe she took the red truck to the airport (to hide it).

Does anyone have a good idea of when LS gives her first interview to the TV reporter? I think it was on Friday, but my memory isn't perfect. It was the night of the first "blue vigil," which I think was Friday (there was a vigil on Wednesday as well, though - but it wasn't as large as the one on Friday, where the whole blue ribbon part was initiated).

On Crimeonline RD says he didn't release the tapes. The news media did, and they were told not to. There is more footage that was given to LE that the public hasn't seen.

Would you tho? If the video shows GS going & not returning, would you expose yourself to this monster. I wouldn’t TS any help, and I’d be concerned about my own family at this stage of search. Jmo

You misunderstood the context or I didn't explain very well.

If a child had JUST gone missing in my neighborhood and I heard that from the parents or from another neighbor, I would not say to the parent "do you want to search my video?" I would do that myself assuming I knew what the child looked like. No way in a neighborhood full of cameras do the parents or parent have time to view each neighbor's video. But it is being reported that's what RD did. He contacted TS on the 27th or 28th and asked if she wanted to review his video.

The truck video isn't in play at that point. RD has been quoted in multiple MSM outlets that he found it days later on Sat. Feb 1 and showed it to AS on Feb 2. TS was long gone by then.

If I found video that was ambiguous and might be the kid might not be, and it was right after the disappearance, yes, I likely would show it to the parent. If for some reason I feared the parent, I'd call LE. Since RD claims he asked LS if she wanted to look at his video, that suggests he wasn't afraid of her. But it still makes no sense to me he didn't just review it himself.

I don't know. That's what he said. I don't know who to ask for clarification. But as you know, sometimes the media gets leaks from unlikely places.

Locksmiths carry electronic key fob replacements for many popular makes/models of cars and can electronically reprogram them to work with your car if you loose your fob/transponder. I'm sure they need proof of ownership and the code info (from the dealership or from another spare) but getting a new one through them is cheaper and faster than through a dealership. I don't have personal experience, but have several friends who've done it this way.

My response: "Who does she think she is to punish"? This is typical language of a person who is punitive. They are demanding and authoritative.

It was during the DAWP interview. It is too painful to listen to again.

Had that video not gotten out to the public, worldwide and local interest in the case would have been virtually zero. Other kids went missing in CS during the period Gannon has been gone, but it's the dramatic reveal of a lying stepmom that got everyone's attention.

This case would not be on thread 36 otherwise. And all the businesses that quickly cooperated and reviewed video tapes (and Petco employees who went public with their own observations) would not have been aware of the case. Going door to door is not enough - public attention is needed.

For every Gannon, there are 1999 other children reported missing, every day (of whom, about 200 are still missing after 48 hours).

I think LE's own statements to RD ("this is the break we needed") were meant to be public. And the public has responded with enormous concern and help.

Also, this method of pulling together citizens surveillance, route cameras is a new thing.
Like family DNA this is a tremendous new source of information to add to an investigation.

On our n'hood pages people always offer up their video surveillance to others after a car break-in or something.

I guess I can say that there are at least 3 neighbors on the witness list if i dont mention their names. If I find them in an approved news source concerning the case I suppose I then could say who they are..... do I have this right ?
