"He kept going to the gate...."

Hmmm.....

It would be interesting to know if the house's front door had a dead bolt that a child could not open. I know people who've done that. Usually for smaller kids, but still.

If the backyard was his only escape route...then maybe that's why he tried the gate. He obviously didn't have the key. She adds that in a lame attempt to support her runaway disinformation campaign.

Her brain goes to real details, especially visual ones (and including wish fulfillment, such as everyone apologizing to her). Gannon's foot was cut, it was near a vehicle, in the garage, had something to do with "tools," he was in the backyard, etc. Note how little she really says about Gannon, his doings and his behavior in any of her explanations.

I also think that her general inclination to drive around and fling things out of vehicles has worked for in the past. She thought it might work on Monday, tried it again on Tuesday (in some form) and then continued on her 2000 mile flight from Colorado. If she did have the suitcase inside something else (how could she not if she was traveling with others?), that something is gone too.

If she took the truck by herself, and let the others go on to SC, then she had ample time to get rid of evidence in the truck. If the 5th person seen by Spencer Wilson did not leave CO (which is possible), then there were 3 women in the Nissan and LS could have driven the truck.

Knowing what we know now, I wonder how she would’ve reacted if he’d asked “So you were the last one to see Gannon alive?”

I wonder if this statement will end up in the opening and/or closing statements by the prosecuting attorney?

The problem with that article is that it assumes both parties are free. In this case, there are two co-owners of what the lawyer says is considered equally owned "property." At present, one of those owners is not able to actually take possession of the property, meaning it is currently in the hands of someone who has no claim to ownership. I would think, and I'm no lawyer so this is just a guess, that if Al really wants his dog returned to him immediately, he could simply make it a legal matter outside of any divorce consideration. Someone has possession of something that is not their own property. Couldn't he just go to the local police wherever that person is and showing ownership, request the police have the dog returned to him? Even if HH has the dog, minors cannot make a claim to property they did not purchase. At least, it seems to me this is an avenue he could take?

The divorce filing states the dog was between 3 and 4 months of age as of March 5, 2020. Frenchies are not removed from their mother's care until 8 wks minimum. That means that the dog was a member of that household for 2 to 6 weeks. The math was really a stretch for me, but I got through it. It's not a long time, especially for one who is gone a lot with work. I fail to see the importance of this demand. JMO

I'm looking forward to seeing what the neighbor directly across the street caught on camera.
I never said he was seen AFTER they left the driveway. I said, I do not think that video is THE video that blew the case open. Other neighbors also had video.

I do agree other neighbors have video, but we have only been advised of one neighbor that also has AUDIO.

There was an extended version that the reporter shared somewhere that shows at the very end, she pulls a "Columbo" and says "Just one more thing". And as her last afterthought, she finally fake cries and pretends to be concerned about the missing boy. It really showed that the whole interview she was only concerned about herself and her trying to defend herself and she really didnt care about the missing boy. She almost forgot to act concerned about him till the very end where she had to call the reporter back to tape the last fake crying part.

Sorry I dont have the link handy for that interview where I saw the extended version that the reporter put out.
True!! KKTV reporter Spencer Wilson-- who conducted the "backside" interview with LS-- tweeted about
LS asking for a "do-over" where she proceeded to do the worried and fake cry bit.

My mind has been buzzing about the gate key that T was so adamant about including in that post she made (I think it was a post...or was it another interview?).

Why did she ramble about it? Where is it? Was it with Gannon when they found him?

My personal opinion is that she made a big deal about it bc detectives had previously asked her how could he have left out the side gate when its locked. So she came up with the excuse that Gannon had the key. Personally I think its just that simple. JMO

Father of Gannon Stauch lashes out at his wife in divorce papers

Daily Mail is an approved MSM source at WS. Members just have to decide for themselves if they wish to rely on the information provided.

After reading this article, obviously the method used to murder this innocent child, is assumption and not a matter of fact, but nonetheless, I sure am pleased with the reporting because after being informed that TS is aware of what is going on "outside" and due to the fact that she has a problem using the silence tactic..insert sarcasm...and also her hatred for AS and LH, she most likely will inform someone in the jail, that this was not the way it "would" have been done. She will then most likely proceed to give some nice relevant clues. Imo...

Thx for putting in the effort, I was about to have my 10 yr old try to figure it out using common core. But the way you explained it seems much easier

I keep seeing/thinking about locations and items she has mentioned. Like we pretty much all agree, she has either intentionally or unintentionally dropped some breadcrumbs aka pieces of truth sporadically throughout her verbal diarrhea. Forgive me if I mention something not allowed because of the source, but I honestly cannot keep up with what info was stated where. Just look at locations/items without her excess wording...
Gate
Bleeding
Vehicle
Stomach
Tools
Injury
Candle
Carpet
Sofa
2x4
There is so much more that can be added to the list now that we know what we know (gun, sharp object, suitcase, etc). Just looking at that list, our critically thinking minds could come up with the most horrid scenarios that could possibly be true. Makes me so sad.

Agreed. The statement in which she attempted to explain away blood evidence, was the same one in which she mentioned the gate. She released it about a week after the video came to light.

Of course when the video was revealed, law enforcement again descended on that house with a crime scene unit.

So she was trying to explain away both physical evidence, and how Gannon could have avoided being captured on video.

Prisons don't always press charges on assaults within the prison system. They will document it and have punishment within the prison system for infractions. They have a hearing within a week of the infraction (after punishment is already started, usually solitary and much less privileges) IF they qualify for parole in the future this 'record' follows them. That's what they mean by "Prison Disciplinary record'
@LeBlack You got that right. Corrections will deal with exactly as you describe and then some. Her temper tantrum will appear on the face sheet of her prison jacket and follow her throughout the system. There is a brother hood among corrections staff, and I recall the stance of the deputy assigned to her at the hearing. Yikes

She led them right to it...IMO
Can't wait to see the evidence - I do wonder if someone could redact the AW so I don't have to read the actual injuries ...

You won’t be able to escape it. Fortunately though, it shouldn’t be overly detailed in that regard. It all depends what the girls saw.

The autopsy results will tell that story, and we won’t hear about that until the preliminary hearing at the absolute earliest.

"He kept going to the gate...."

Hmmm.....
I have absolutely no thoughts, theories or ideas about the gate comment. I am at a loss. I will appreciate any and all attempts to enlighten me (gently please)

Refresher on the request to unseal arrest affidavit for the public. Although the status conf is scheduled for April 14, 2020 at 3pm (after the April 10 mandate period), it's most likely going to follow the 'cancel and re-schedule' court order most recently revised on March 20 [Chief Judge Order 20-11].

We’ve just been let into the courtroom, the attorneys are already at their seats. Here we go. (Thread cont.) #LeteciaStauch #GannonStauch

And #LeteciaStauch has just entered the courtroom in handcuffs, wearing a lime green jail jumpsuit. Attorneys speaking quietly with her, going over paperwork. #GannonStauch’s parents are sitting across the room in the front row.

Judge just walked in, going over the recording rules. “The court also understands this is an emotional case. Almost all cases for first degree murder are.” Asks people maintain their composure, no yelling, etc.

2:57 PM - 11 Mar 2020 from Colorado Springs, CO

Spencer Wilson‏Verified account @Spencer_WNews
Defense asking for the review hearing in 21-30 days. “Unlikely we will get any discovery in the case until then.” Saying because the investigation is still going, all their evidence is combined into 1000 pages. They are trying to get it to the defense, but it will take time.

Over 107 search warrants expected in the case. Judge just repeated that number, stunned. All of that info will take MORE time to get to both sides and the court. Basically laying out their plan to get all the evidence into everyone’s hands before a trial, if they go to trial

Judge just ruled the defense will be allowed to see the affidavit, unsealing it for them. No talk on unsealing the affidavit for the public/media. Judge referenced he will “get to that” later.

Looking to set a status conference for Tuesday April 14 at 3:00 PM to check back up on the process of the evidence. Now onto other business.

Judge talking to DA’s office about getting affidavit for defense. “There is going to need to be some serious redactions because of lots of personal info...” That’s pretty standard stuff.

3:09 PM - 11 Mar 2020 from Colorado Springs, CO

Spencer Wilson‏Verified account @Spencer_WNews
Judge just referenced our request to get the affidavit released to the public. DA’s office says they have no problem with that, they used to because of the investigation but now they don’t mind. Judge also saying they will not allow a camera at that next April meeting.

3:12 PM - 11 Mar 2020 from Colorado Springs, CO

Spencer Wilson‏Verified account @Spencer_WNews
Defense asking why the court division was changed from 5 to 15. Judge explains judges work on rotations. The reason it switched spots is it was sent to a random one, then moved to specialized homicide judge. We also heard they would move it to a bigger courtroom with more seat

3:18 PM - 11 Mar 2020 from Colorado Springs, CO

Quick change of plans, Deputy DA is going to speak to the media, I’ll be asking about the charges I was expecting to hear in the case, there was only a quick mention of “the 4 charges.” That would the original charges we already know about. Ft. hardworking partner @mpetkash

Gannon's sister. If it was hers +/or Gannons. She lost her brother, she shouldn't lose their dog too.

Leigh Egan posted her ONLY interview with LS in two parts on CrimeOnLineFebruary 27 and 29.........strongly implying that the interview was "fresh". LS was arrested early on March 2. Hospitals generally keep patients for a minimum of 24 hours. This is a really tight time frame to be pursuing a followup interview to that first one. Do you really think HH needed to cite additional excuses?
Just the one bombshell about her Mom being preggers in the hospital would be sufficient, IMO.

They also aren’t cheap. I think it could be a financial motive too. In any case, the man should have his dog.

@10ofRods, you are very clever. But somehow I don't see TS driving the truck if the Nissan offered more comforts. A flight attendant interview would be a reason to part ways to dump the body. Plus, it would get her out of the work of unloading the truck. Did she go alone? Not sure how many could fit in the truck.

Thanks! Let me see. February 24 to March 2 seems to be 7 days on the calendar, or a week. I didn't even need to use math to determine that's not a very long time IMO
