The divorce filing states the dog was between 3 and 4 months of age as of March 5, 2020. Frenchies are not removed from their mother's care until 8 wks minimum. That means that the dog was a member of that household for 2 to 6 weeks. The math was really a stretch for me, but I got through it. It's not a long time, especially for one who is gone a lot with work. I fail to see the importance of this demand. JMO
For AS, the demand must be related to his children. AS may believe GS or LS were attached or the puppy was a gift to them. In his grief, all it would take is for his little girl to cry for the puppy. All AS is asking for is the puppy and to be out of the marriage. He deserves both.

Wonder if there was security footage in the house that she tried to erase ?
There could be ton of evidence we know nothing about that will emerge during the trial.
And if we are feeling sick now... :(

RSBM

But will we ever get to know about it? Since the trial won't be televised? I was glued to computer during the trials of both Casey and Tammy Moorer....I remember learning a lot of stuff from watching the witnesses testify that we previously didn't know here. Especially at TM's trial.

We may hear about it at the preliminary, and definitely will at trial. We won’t be able to see it, but that’s what Twitter is for.

The reporters were great at getting all the details out there during the Frazee trial.

I never said he was seen AFTER they left the driveway. I said, I do not think that video is THE video that blew the case open. Other neighbors also had video.
Neighbor: Surveillance video captured missing Springs boy leaving with stepmom, her returning alone
Colorado sheriff’s office gets new evidence in search for missing 11-year-old boy
So what video do you think blew the case open? All we have are RD's words, when asked about what LE said to him after viewing his video. LE never denied the relevance, in fact the spokesperson, said that the video was “a big part of our investigation”

11 News reporter Catherine Silver: "And then detectives came out pretty quickly?"
Drayton: "They came out and looked at my camera."
Silver: "What did they tell you?"
Drayton: "That's the break they needed."

Personally, I'm thankful that he came forward and that any others did too. I don't care who provides the evidence, as long as it puts LS away for the rest of her life.

@10ofRods, you are very clever. But somehow I don't see TS driving the truck if the Nissan offered more comforts. A flight attendant interview would be a reason to part ways to dump the body. Plus, it would get her out of the work of unloading the truck. Did she go alone? Not sure how many could fit in the truck.
The truck belongs to the husband. The marriage was irretrievably broken by Friday January 31, 2020 when she appeared before the news camera no longer wearing her wedding ring and backdropped by a moving van full of her stuff. LE is saying she was in the Pace / Pensacola area between Monday February 3, and Wednesday February 5, 2020. It's just not possible that she would be driving his truck after the split IMO

This is a completely different truck; whatever vehicle she was using to move her belongings.

It very well may have been a rental.

Oh no, perhaps I wasn't clear. I am sorry Mr. Dave F. My comment referred to the paragraph quoted below. I was referring to the moving truck/van, not AS's truck.
If she took the truck by herself, and let the others go on to SC, then she had ample time to get rid of evidence in the truck. If the 5th person seen by Spencer Wilson did not leave CO (which is possible), then there were 3 women in the Nissan and LS could have driven the truck.

And since I am unable to message you directly, is your profile picture of Sergeant Friday? :)

Ok good...glad to hear that about the Frazee trial then. I was overwhelmed with "real life" during the time of that case and so didn't follow it.

There is more than one msm now confirming the details of Gannon's condition. I'm just plain heartbroken for his family.:(

Source: Gannon Stauch's Body Found In Suitcase Under Bridge In Florida
I'm getting the idea that these MSM outlets are just repeating the SUN. An anonymous "source close to" says something. Seems like they are just interpreting the new charges; firearm, blunt object, knife or sharp object. I don't see any confirmation or revelation by LE of the details in those articles.

I don’t think KKTV is lying about this. It sounds like they contacted their law enforcement sources to confirm the Sun’s reporting. They aren’t merely citing the reporting of the hack, Chris Spargo.

I used to teach Elie Wiesel's memoir, Night, and sometimes would arrange for elderly Holocaust survivors to speak to our eighth-graders. They endured such unspeakable atrocities, and lost their entire families to truly depraved acts of murder.

So many things that we've learned from them have made a deep impression on my students and me. I have Holocaust survivors in my family, (as well as some who were killed in my grandmother's generation), and still study about the Holocaust now. But one particular sentence from an ancient Holocaust survivor caught my attention. She said, "there's nothing so wonderful as a boring day."

Think about that. How wonderful would a boring day, nothing special happening, have been for Gannon's parents? For Chloe's family on the ship? For the families of every missing or murdered child?

I am reminded of that Holocaust survivor now, because I keep complaining to my family and friends about how bored I am trapped in my apartment during coronavirus. It flashed into my mind, though---how wonderful it is to have a boring day! That means nothing awful has happened! I'd certainly rather be safe and bored at home than to be in a hospital, sick with the virus and struggling to breathe.

So let's thank God that we here are not afflicted with something that has us in the ICU, and let's thank God that we are not identifying our children, and stay home and stay safe until this crisis is over, whenever that may be.

Good health and courage to all my fellow Websleuthers, to the mods, and pray for the health care workers and first responders.
Bumping because it bears repeating. Thank you for this!

I agree. CBS is a pretty major news source. I don't think they'd just rely on the Sun.

I wouldn’t be surprised if LE had no knowledge of the truck being used prior to seeing the video. Whether it blew the case wide open, I couldn’t say. But learning what vehicle she was in was huge. IMO.

What are we learning from these articles that quote "a source" that we didn't already know?
1. "11-year-old was allegedly murdered by his stepmother Letecia Stauch." Yes we've known that since when, March 4th?
2. "boy was shot, stabbed, and put in a suitcase before his body was thrown under a Florida bridge." Yes, we already know that, they would not have added the (already widely reported) charges if he wasn't shot and stabbed. They would not have added firearm charges because she may have just driven around with a firearm without the correct license for concealed or open carry.
3. "The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office says they found the murdered boy’s body in Pace, Florida, last Wednesday." Yes, we know that.

Note they don't state the sequence, if they had insider information they would be printing that, which definitely would be something new.
