The first time it was reported that Gannon was discarded in a suitcase, it was Landen's aunt on her facebook page.

We'll hear and read about it secondhand.
The problem with that is a lot of communication is nonverbal, e.g., facial expressions, body language, gestures, etc.
We're going to miss nearly all of the nonverbal communication that goes on in that courtroom.
That nonverbal stuff can't be captured in a reporter's tweet.
Beats the Pony Express, I guess.
Barely.

The LE and prosecutors in Kansas need to follow in a fair and logical order. Waiting to see how one set of charges goes before filing others is completely unethical. IMO, IANAL
The truck belongs to the husband. The marriage was irretrievably broken by Friday January 31, 2020 when she appeared before the news camera no longer wearing her wedding ring and backdropped by a moving van full of her stuff. LE is saying she was in the Pace / Pensacola area between Monday February 3, and Wednesday February 5, 2020. It's just not possible that she would be driving his truck after the split IMO
Does anyone have a link to the full divorce petition? The daily mail only has the first 1.5 pages.Colorado Judicial Branch - El Paso County - Homepage
Keeping an eye to see if they extend the dates and if the hearing actually will take place.
Personally, I couldn’t care less about Fido. A child was brutally abused and murdered, and the divorce proceedings are the least of my concern.
I agree. The planning and all the twisted excuses are uncannily similar to JA.
One thing that killers like LS dont take into consideration is they never think long term about having to live their entire rest of their life looking over their shoulder about someday getting caught. In their mind, they think everyone will just forget about GS and in a short time, it will all go away. She thinks she will be on her way to live happily ever after with AS because now his Ex will stay out of the picture. She envisioned her husband would be arm in arm with her in support and this would even help their relationship.
Well, LS, you are wrong because with a child murder like this, nobody ever forgets and they constantly look and wonder what happened to him for the rest of their lives and LE may someday find the killer. Even if the case goes cold, there is always new investigators that may pick up the case and start anew.
It is a huge miscalculation in the killers thinking. To them, its not a big deal and it will all wash over in a relatively short time. To everyone else, it is a huge deal, and it will never wash over or ever go away. Ever.
Its one of the biggest miscalculations we have seen in lots of cases like this.
Its actually a little more proof that she may be a real physchopath because she cannot see and feel things through others eyes and she cannot understand how others will never ever stop looking for him or try to find out what really happened to him.
To her, it was almost over the day she killed him. In her thoughts, it was almost over and in a short time, things will all be ok again. To everyone else, it was just the beginning of a never ending nightmare.
Yah I agree justice for Gannon is what matters! Seeing that evil woman put where she belongs is where I’m focused! Thx for the reminder MGPersonally, I couldn’t care less about Fido. A child was brutally abused and murdered, and the divorce proceedings are the least of my concern.
BBM:No legal eagle here, but what sense would it make to charge her with a lesser crime? That’s a lot of tax dollars to waste to extradite, etc. CO can’t try her or charge her for a crime committed in KS. I could see them waiting to charge her with this crime in KS if she were found not guilty of all charges in CO.
Absolutely. But I don’t think there’s a need to beat the issue to death on here. If that’s what’s happening, I obviously hope she gets her dog.I care about Fido for the daughter. Gannons little sister. While it's a small thing in the grand scheme of this whole mess, the little one could be asking for the dog back and maybe her dad, come hell or high water wants it for her.
She absolutely could have done what she needed to do in that four hour time window. Drive Gannon to their destination, shoot him to death, and arrive home. During this time period, it also appears she tried to build an alibi.I haven't been able to review everything (it would be impossible finding this site recently) so I apologize if this has been brought up previously. But the notion that "she is pure evil" to explain everything seems to gloss over a few big things here. First, I want to say I don't believe ANY of the family members living in the house had any participation in this, but there is no way she acted alone and possibly didn't do the final act. The first thing that jumps out is the timeline. 4 hour gap - A trip to the grocery store takes over an hour. To methodically do something so devious and clean up all traces and be home for after school snacks by yourself is impossible. The rental car - did she ever drive it? did AS ever see it? I can't imagine picking up AS at the airport the day after his son went missing and disappearing to drive 1,000 miles. Did she just rent it for someone else to use? Finally, the gun - that doesn't fit the profile of female killers. I can totally understand charging her and locking her up as soon as possible as enough evidence allowed, but I really believe there is another person(s) and they are beating the bushes really hard and loud to bring them out.
I want to reemphasize my point that I don't believe any person living in the house had any knowledge because I really want it to be true, when I was 17 my younger siblings were 7 and 5. I had no idea what was going on in the house because I was never home. I had my own life - school, work, friends, etc. I would see them a little each day and goof off for a few minutes but I was busy. 17 is still an innocent age but you are generally more concerned about yourself than anyone else.

That's my point about the car. Is there any proof that she drove it. You mention working on allibi immediately so why would she pick her husband up and them disappear for the better part of a day. I think someone else drove the car to tie up loose ends. And it is definitely important to get her locked up at the very first opportunity even if you are still chasing other suspects. She absolutely could have done what she needed to do in that four hour time window. The following day she rented that vehicle, and she almost certainly used it for the purpose of tying up loose ends. That 955 miles is not a fact, and may have been entered in error.
No charges have been filed against other suspects, and if there was the likelihood of that, the prosecution almost certainly would oppose the arrest affidavit being unsealed.
That’s what happened in the Frazee case, when Dan May’s office not only opposed its release, but was also able to keep it from the defense for a period of time.
Same office, different stance. There’s a reason for that.
There is no evidence of anyone helping her do that, and good luck finding someone who is willing to put their freedom on the line, and better luck keeping it a secret. That's my point about the car. Ah, I see. Sorry, I've missed about 40 pages lol. Guess i should go read.Absolutely. But I don’t think there’s a need to beat the issue to death on here. If that’s what’s happening, I obviously hope she gets her dog.
I also think about that gate and the key. I can’t help but think he tried to escape through that exit to no avail on Sunday night. Something bothered her enough to say something about it. Maybe there is nothing to the key because she had it all along trapping him in the home. JmoMy mind has been buzzing about the gate key that T was so adamant about including in that post she made (I think it was a post...or was it another interview?).
Why did she ramble about it? Where is it? Was it with Gannon when they found him?
