If she got fired on Friday, I wonder if it's possible that GS wasn't really sick at all on Monday and if she kept him home as a cover for why she wasn't going to work?
I would think that she would have used "my stepson is sick today " excuse instead of "my stepdad was killed in an accident" as an excuse to not go into work.
Just lies, lies and more lies from this monster.

Another thi

Another thing: If she first told LE that he left to go to friends at 3:15, Laina was home at 3:11? Wouldn't she have seen him leave since she sent her out to ride her bike?

I think when she made that statement to LE, she wasn't even thinking of what she had said to Laina. It's hard to keep track of all those lies, dontchaknow.

About the blood in the bedroom:

Yes, it's possible she made the stained area larger by pouring a liquid on to it. It would dilute and seep.

As far as the volume of blood - I can't see much of anything in the pics because they're too dark. Blood loss significant enough to be life-threatening looks really dramatic though. Total blood volume for a kid about Gannon's age and size is about 3 liters, and they can lose up to about 25% of that without having very serious issues. Imagine dumping a full liter bottle of soda on a mattress. That's what a potentially lethal amount of blood loss for Gannon would look like. I'm guessing they didn't find evidence of that much blood there, but he probably didn't die of exsanguination anyways.

Science time:

Does anyone know what would happen if you had an area of blood on a mattress and you poured vinegar or vinegar and water on it? Surely it would dilute the stain... would it soak through the mattress, drip down the side and pool into a saucer size blood stain beneath the carpet?

Would it entirely denigrate DNA?

Does Luminol react weaker and stronger, depending?

Is it possible that Gannon didn't actually lose as much blood as it might have appeared? That TS's cleaning technique resulted in an exaggerated the volume?

I wish we could ask her a few questions. We can bet she'd jump at a chance to clear up some confusion -- and create more. It's what she does best.

There's chaos in her brain.

JMO

I haven't cleaned blood from carpet, but I have cleaned up grape juice. And in my experience the stain does spread and dilute and soak in.

I would think investigators know this though. And the blood on the wall, especially around the wall outlet, wouldn't behave the same as stained carpet/carpet pad.

And, just to add to this, once the blood soaked through to the concrete, even if it was a larger area of diluted blood, once everything else evaporated, just the blood would be left. Blood won't evaporate. The only way to get rid of it entirely would have been to soak it up into another material - towels or paper towels for example - and then dispose of them.

I do believe there is more video (similar to what happened in PF trial) that will nail down her timeline. IMO
The AA did say there were more pictures and VIDEO on her cellphone from that morning.

SBM

I think you are referring to a Google search she did on 1/25. It's on page 22 of the AA.

She really wallowed in her self-pity, didn't she?

Yes, that was it. Thanks for finding it.

Regarding the AA, the Eduardo story that she hired him in the neighborhood on the spot to fix the carpet the next day, I’m getting the picture that the carpet was never fixed, correct? So was there a missing cut out piece and where exactly was it? Under Gannon’s bed; hence, investigators didn’t see it during the initial walk thru?

Maybe I'm wrong but I thought that piece was cut out by LE.

Did LE bring dogs through the house? I don't recall...

I don’t think we’ve heard anything about that. If they did, they must have done it very early on, as the media would have gotten wind of it.

All we know for sure is they were used in the search effort itself.

it could have been just about anywhere. Under the sofa, under a rug, etc. They were only looking through the house that first evening, not doing a thorough search.

ETA Even if it was out in the open LE had no reason to believe at that point that it had anything to do with Gannon.

When LS & GS departed home in the morning, GS walked to the truck and climbed in the back seat on the driver's side. I'm not sure why he got in the back seat initially -- perhaps to lie down if he wasn't feeling so great...

If he was riding in the front seat when they returned home - it follows that he would get out on the passenger side (easy for a slim child versus an adult).

MOO
makes perfect sense if you think he was in the front seat. I don't think he was but who knows. I'm not buying the shadow. I don't think he came back. JMO

In the AA, the LEO clearly says GS returned that day and that the murder took place afterward. I am curious why so many are so quick to disregard what the LEO believes happened. But also what is the narrative that fits with what we know in the AA because I tend to believe what is there?

Wow.... I had to step away from the threads for a while for the sake of my own mental health, and am a couple of entire threads behind in the conversation. Just learned of the released AA, and am absolutely floored by all of the information contained therein. That poor, sweet little boy. My heart is heavy thinking of Gannon, his Dad, his Mom, his sister, and extended family & friends. I'll just never understand how these monsters are able to walk among us, no matter how many devastatingly brutal cases I follow. RIP, sweet Gannon.

It seemed like the AA should have answered many questions but instead left at least myself with more.
