A quick word on TS's salad tossing--

Imagine the challenge of accounting for everything LE knows, while likewise having to guess what they MIGHT now, when YOU are the ONLY one who knows EVERYTHING! You'd be bound to oversplain! Sometimes people who know too much can't help themselves from saying too much!

Think about all the early leaks -- carpets, car rentals. Cut feet and car bandages. And later boards and socks. Blood in the garage, blood on her car, blood in various locations throughout the house. (Because nosebleeds. Because albert has tools.) Suitcases and cell phones. Petco. Her sight-seeing detour through Palmer Lake. It all came from HER!!!

Head. Case. In an attempt to cover up her actions, she managed only to spotlight them!

But that's okay. She can spend the next lifetime plus 150 years conversing with herself, arguing about all of the ways other people ruined her life. The world's out of paper towels though. She's going to have to write her notes on something else.

That is, if they ever give her access to a pen.

I watched the series Exhibit A...the episode on -video forensics- was fascinating. Highly recommend it.
I don’t have the actual quote but IMO the expert described surveillance “video ” as a series of “still photos” strung together in rapid succession.

IOW as I understood him, it’s not like being there...it’s not an EXACT replay of what happened. He said a frame could be missing because of a glitch in the camera or glitch in the motion detector...or simply because what you are -looking for - was a millisecond between captured data.

MOO
Yes, I think that's the same show I described earlier.
They said the video evidence is not necessarily solid evidence and there has to be an "investigation" of the video before they can come to any conclusions.

And because of the reasons you describe and other factors, it is not always conclusive.

I think the same is true for the recording TS "accidentally" made on her phone. LE would have to do some investigating before they decide when she actually recorded that and the events leading up to it and what happened afterwards.

What's interesting to me regarding RD's video. Couldn't the FBI have performed some sort of work to clear up the video? Was that even attempted?
I've wondered that too. They just seem so casual about the video. It has to be more clear than what we saw, and with audio. Yet, they almost dismiss the whole thing with "does not provide images clear enough to make positive identifications."

Another thing about the RD Video. Why would Gannon exit on the side next to the Tiguan when it's very close to the other car for one, and that he entered on the other side? I know kids are all over the place but if he entered on the driver side and buckled in, why wouldn't he exit the same side?

May I clarify this?

At the time of the arrest warrant, it was LE's theory that Gannon's body was in one location, where TS's car went (Palmer Lake) l, revisited later in a rental car, to assure sufficient coverage. Since no body was found in the location, LE further theorized that wildlife may have dispersed it.

Then new information came to light. The discovery of Gannon's remains in Florida. No doubt, LE has amended its theory to include the transport of Gannon's body from the one location to another.

In this way, LE has theorized that the murder occurred in Gannon's bedroom. They seem to validate RD's video of Gannon, getting in the car alive... which narrows the window of opportunity.... and if NO ONE was home from 10 until 2, the murder didn't happen in the house then; therefore, they conclude, it had to have happened some time after 2:15....

It's a theory. New information can change that timeline....

For me it comes down to this: could Gannon have sustained a significant injury, one where death without intervention was inevitable yet still be able to walk, albeit impaired, to the truck?

I think he did.

Another thi

Another thing: If she first told LE that he left to go to friends at 3:15, Laina was home at 3:11? Wouldn't she have seen him leave since she sent her out to ride her bike?
she must have needed every last second to leave it so tight a timeline.
I guess she must have had a mental note the time LS arrived and would be looking for gannon.
a pretty flawed plan that is extremely transparent what she was up to...getting the show on the road at the exact moment he would be missed.

Well, if you were riding in a car driven by a lunatic which side would you get out ?

Science time:

Does anyone know what would happen if you had an area of blood on a mattress and you poured vinegar or vinegar and water on it? Surely it would dilute the stain... would it soak through the mattress, drip down the side and pool into a saucer size blood stain beneath the carpet?

Would it entirely denigrate DNA?

Does Luminol react weaker and stronger, depending?

Is it possible that Gannon didn't actually lose as much blood as it might have appeared? That TS's cleaning technique resulted in an exaggerated the volume?

I wish we could ask her a few questions. We can bet she'd jump at a chance to clear up some confusion -- and create more. It's what she does best.

There's chaos in her brain.

The blood is still the problem. A significant amount in the bedroom. Zero in the truck.

So he was sleeping at 3:11 (told to LS) but also running away at 3:15?

I keep coming back to that too. If there was some incident where she hurt him because of her rage with the carpet and couch being ruined then even at that point you would think she would just cut her losses and take off with her daughter or just face the consequences. But no, not with this twisted person. She takes it a step further and ends up killing Gannon to avoid any responsibility for anything.

Which really makes me seriously wonder if she had always wanted to kill him to get back at the bio parents. And when the carpet incident happened it was easy for her to take it to the limit because she had always wanted to kill him anyway.

Someone shared a few pages back that she had mentioned something like "some day the bio parents will be sorry for how they treated me" or something like that. I dont have the reference so not sure when that was said or the exact words. If that is true then that really shows she wanted some sort of serious revenge on the bio parents and it really shows premeditation into what eventually happened.
I want to say that was a google search from the AA.

No experience with blood, but I’d think blood stain that was diluted in cleaning attempt would still clearly be blood and clearly show attempt to clean. I’ve had to clean unfortunately! Cat pee from a mattress before and it created a much larger more faded stain.

I think several of her searches were looking for memes to add drama and air laundry on FB. And she said “we can sell the sofa”. The supposed burned sofa? I think a lot of her social media was a smear campaign to preempt any possible divorce stories about herself. Building a victim defense for being dumped or murder.

If TS intended to commit murder that day, why would she wait until just before the LaiS would get home? Why all four hours out of the house? Why not hurry home and give yourself more time? Why all the cellphone funny business if you're not really doing anything troubling for those hours?

I know that some people here have said that she may have been scouting for a place to do her dastardly deed and couldn't find a suitable location, but that seems like a theory forced by LE's theory in the AW... trying to make it fit.

Again, to me, it just makes more sense to adjust WHERE he died, allowing for a head injury at home, proof of life such as it was at 10, and no sighting of him thereafter....

For one thing, if murder is on your mind, abd you've been driving around aimlessly looking for a kill site but can't find one, when time is at a premium, do you waste time returning to Petco? Or do you speed home?

I can't make sense of that trip outside of murder.

Yes and here’s another thing. She is recorded on a phone call saying she and Landen and their husbands got along and there was no jealousy at all.

I had read the way she met Al was that she and Landen and Al were all together on a softball team. So maybe she and Landen were friends and Landen did some ordinary thing that LS took as an affront to her narcissistic ways.

So she goes after Al and he leaves Landen and marries her. She thought she won. But Al and Landen had to share their children and LS hated that. Then she agreed to half time custody thinking she would have control but Gannon loved his mom, still had memories of his mom and stayed in touch with her. No matter what LS did, she couldn’t break those bonds.

Life was no longer about “her”. She hated that, so her revenge was to get rid of the one she hated most. In essence, Laina would cling to her now and Al would melt in her hands because of his sadness.

What she didn’t count on was the power of love. That’s something she could never understand.

The thought that she may have verbally abused him during that four hour ride. Chilling. Though I also think she could have had him unconscious in truck bed, because I never got the shadow. But the video showed her opening the truck door with some force so it could have been a chase.
