I don’t know what happened that night or day but I don’t believe there was a fire that burned any large part of carpet by Gannon . I believe if there was carpet missing or destroyed it was her attempting yet again to cover up what she did. I believe those internet searches were intentional and she knew or hoped Al would see at them.

she was without a doubt an emotional abuser to Gannon . I believe what mostly likely occurred in that house started out as common or usual violence or abuse on Gannon to take out her frustration even when it had zero to do with Gannon . He just happened to be an easy target for her. Then she went too far and from that point she went in to over drive on how to cover it up even if it meant killing him. She believed people would believe her .

I’ve lived in a house like that and sadly you just want (no matter how old you get) for the abuser to love you, to like you, you want to make them happy even though they terrify you. I was Gannons age and terrible mental and unimaginable physical violence on a child so small occurred daily. I never told anyone except my mom and even then I struggled to explain and she stayed and it just got worse . To this day that abuser thinks that even as a child at starting at the age of 7 and 8 I was “a bad kid” and whatever he did to me I deserved .

I was warned not to tell anyone . I was told no one would believe me. I was told they’d pick up and dial CPS for me and take me to jail instead. I was told if I ran away they’d hunt me and kill me (I believe they would’ve ) . I also can very very easily see how one of those times he could’ve went too far (literally nothing had to set him off) . He could’ve done one of his usual “fun” games of picking me up by my throat , strangling me, holding me in the air , throwing me into a wall and at that point I’m down on the ground again. He’d kick , pull hair. My point is there could’ve been injuries that he or they couldn’t explain away. His job was LE. At that point it’s very easy to know what he would’ve done. He would’ve finished it. Packed me away and got hid of me and told everyone I ran away.

I think there’s a high possibility bc of his job and the town we live in that would've never been questioned at all. Bc he’s great at his job. Upstanding citizen. Great all around guy. In his mind then and now it would’ve been justified . He believes the stories he tells even when others tell him he’s wrong .

I’m really sorry. I need to have distance from this case right now. I feel tremendously guilty in doing that.

I know many people won’t understand this but I always try to remember we are all Gods children and it’s not only us who feels pain The Lord does as well bc we are all his children . Being a parent to two children I know I’d do anything for .I’m glad it’s not my job to judge to decide someone’s fate . Forgiving is a lot easier than forgetting. I am for “justice” but even when it comes it’s so hollow bc it doesn’t fix it, it doesn’t bring anyone back, it doesn’t undo the terrible unthinkable crimes. I do hope and pray she gets life in prison but she’s always going to be the type to not take accountability, to make herself the victim even when her victim was a defenseless child. Everyone involved in this needs prayer.

Atleast Colorado puts most of the court documents online, to include search warrants.

When all is said and done, we’ll likely see the bodycam footage of the responding officers, her interview footage, and countless other things.
Now as far as her Trial goes.. no Live coverage in the Court?

If you ever have to rent a car near that same Colorado airport, avoid renting a white Kia Rio. Not only did TS use it around the time of a murder, someone else may have too. Note the blood from a stranger in the trunk. AA Item #62 + #63.
It is weird that blood was found in a rental car that just so happened to be rented by a murderer

I expect Defense will try to exploit that detail in some way, to place reasonable doubt. That won't work, but what else do they have? They will be grasping, imo.

Who is close enough to LS to be able to "drill down through her thick skull" and get her to simply plead guilty. She must love HH. I'm assuming she gave birth to her. Maybe LS loves her own mother. Could this person, who might be able to reason with her, get her to recognize the enormity of pain that could be avoided for her daughter, her mother, her sister etc. if this case does NOT go to trial.
There must be someone in this world who can break through and reach her heart.
Who is that person?
MOO
I don't think this particular perp will plea guilty.

One, she will go for the slim (VERY slim) chance a jury will find reasonable doubt. That's not gonna happen, imo. (But remember Casey Anthony's trial?)

Two, she will go through trial with the slim (VERY slim) chance a guilty verdict will be overturned due to some technical mistake by LE or prosecution. That's not gonna happen, imo.

Three, the trial will inflict pain on Landon, and I think that appeals to TS. She is a spiteful woman. imo.

I actually expect some jailhouse and/or courtroom drama from her, not a quiet admission of guilt. She's going to accuse a guard or fellow inmate of "something." That's my guess, imo.

I'm braced for her creating chaos because that's what she does wherever she goes.

Yes, the blood in the Kia can be explained away easier than the blood found in and on the outside of the Tiguan.

Someone could have cut themselves while changing a flat on the rental (for example) but there is no logical explanation for Gannon's blood on the seats, near the glovebox, and on the bumper of the Tiguan.

Imo

There are a lot of views on here saying HH should cooperate for her own sake. I struggle to get on board with this.

If HH is guilty of anything, she may well have no leverage for immunity since the case against LS is so strong.

If HH is not guilty, she has no need to put her rights in jeopardy for Gannons sake by talking, again since the case against LS is so strong.

There is also a hazy middle ground where she has no guilt for the murder but (at least) morally should have raised the alert on prior occasions. All of which becomes fair game on the stand if she cooperates on the murder.

I dont know specifics on CO but there are 10000 people serving life in USA for offences commited as a child. She won't have any fancy lawyer. Better to use your rights, they are there for a reason.

We don’t know the precise reasons why they behaved the way they did. I can venture a guess though.

Had they informed the public she was a suspect, she may have lawyered up, and shut down.

Her lawyer would have told her to stop communicating with law enforcement, Al, and the media.

As we came to learn, she inflicted untold damage by not keeping her mouth shut. Law enforcement has many hours of recordings, something they likely wouldn’t have if she was receiving legal advice.

Those interviews with CrimeOnline certainly didn’t help either.

This is merely one possibility, and I’m sure there’s a lot more to their decision making than that.

Law enforcement owes us absolutely nothing, and there’s this bizarre sense of entitlement that plays out in cases like this (especially on social media).

I don’t understand why they should be expected to damage an ongoing investigation by providing information they don’t owe anyone, and contrary to achieving their goal.

Justice.

Takes us down an interesting path when LE show disdain in this way.

Policing is by consent and while LE are allowed to lie in interviews (lets not go there), a license to mislead the public is surely not a direction we want our trusted LE to be going? That takes us to some dark dark places. How would we like USA to be reporting covid stats in the same way as China do?? Thats the thick end of the same wedge.

Indeed there is no need to pander to mass or social media. "No comment at this time." Simple.

Good work, HaikuMommy. Bestseller in the making!

Maybe in the interest of brevity we could go with:
"Tissues In My Britches; Apologies Accepted"

Tagline "The American dream turns to a nightmare"

(Just catching up so apologies if someone has beaten me to it:))

I see your point regarding misleading the public, but comparing this case to China and CV-19 is a stretch.

There are some cases where LE has performed poorly and deserves criticism, but Gannon's is not one of them. We trust the government to act in our best interests in many ways. Investigations by LE are one of them. If they fully disclosed information prior to arresting a suspect, can you not see the risks? Suspect may flee, evidence could be destroyed, witnesses could be endangered, jury pools would be contaminated, etc.

If you go back and listen to the PC's EPCSO held along the way, "No Comment" was said at some point in every one of them. The DDA has also been very appropriate in his responses to the media. Pandering ... WS would be nonexistent if the media did not pursue information for our consumption. No MSM link, you can't talk about it in forum.

Odd element, that. What are the odds? Maybe it's common? AIKI, I've never bled in any vehicle I've ever owned or rented or was driven in (except an ambulance).

Was that TS' go-to vehicle, she always rented *that* vehicle from that location? Were there other victims? Of course not, just snarky bantering here.

LE never said it was human blood, did they? It could have been someone's leaking meat order from a supermarket. LE could just check the records of the past occupants and ask them what they carried in the trunk. Doesn't seem difficult to check out.

Hello, I am a first-time poster. I joined Web Sleuths to follow Gannon's case and read the first 16 threads verbatim, thinking I might eventually catch up. When LS was arrested and Gannon's body was found, I knew that was a futile effort.

I read the arrest affidavit, and what astounded me, if true, is that LS drove to the airport to pick up AS on Jan. 28 with possibly Gannon's body in the trunk of her Tiguan. Then she left the Tiguan in the short-term parking lot and rented a car to drive AS home. During the ride home with AS, how could she act worried, knowing Gannon was in the Tiguan's trunk back at the airport? How could she calmly drop AS off at home, make excuses, and then retrieve her Tiguan to dispose of Gannon's body in southern Douglas County that same day in the evening?

If LE is correct and Gannon was murdered after 2:15 p.m. Jan. 27, I conclude that the four-hour shopping trip was actually a cover for LS to scout potential burial spots for Gannon. How horrible to think LS took Gannon along for this purpose! He had no idea during that car ride that he would be murdered in just a few hours.

There were other incredible facts revealed in the affidavit, like the false rape allegations and the attempt to get a fake polygraph test. I would have loved to see LS's face when she found out the polygraph company refused to email the fake report because of the nature of her desired questions and answers.

Those are just a few of my thoughts after reading the arrest affidavit. LE still has a long way to go, getting ready to prosecute LS. The biggest thing LE has to prove is exactly how LS removed Gannon's body from Douglas County and took it to Florida. I'm sure you all have already discussed various ways she could have done this.

Now, I've got more reading to do.

I'm convinced TS wasn't necessarily 'unhappy' in the marriage. I believe the "searches" and other clues she dropped here and there were quite intentional, to an nth degree.

TS "freaked out" that Sunday evening to the point where she imposed significant injury upon Gannon; assault & battery and who knows what else.

TS desperately tried to come up with an excuse or story to explain away what she had done to Gannon but eventually, the only thing that made sense to her was that she had to 'disappear' Gannon.

She felt boxed in; she had no choice but to murder him.

She may or may not have resented having to be nurse-maid to "her" (LH's) children but I do not believe that was the catalyst. The catalyst was TS was in fear of getting kicked out of that moderately-upscale ~2400 sq. ft. house and she raged on Gannon for having ruined it. I believe it just may have been that simple. Occam's.

I seriously doubt this will even be brought up at trial and ADT records have already proven that no one entered the residence while LS was on her 🤬🤬🤬 oops shopping spree but

I wanted to attach these pictures showing what I think is the garage door key pad (Eguardo's alleged entry point) which looks to be in camera range and what appears to be a boy's bike on the porch (possibly Gannon's? for those wondering if his bike was missing).
ETA: word in poor taste

When is the next court date? How long before we can ensure justice for Gannon? I want to focus on LS 's conviction!

Friday, June 5th & Monday, June 8th
and
her divorce hearing is still scheduled for 4/30.

Anything is possible. There was dog blood in the back seat of one of my vehicles because we didn’t realize he’d broken a claw and his foot was bleeding when we put him in the car.

I read @Error505 ‘s reply & I also answered to this with questioning if HH had her phone on secretly for LS to hear before too. It makes the most sense until last night while while questions of the case were bouncing in my head (sheep were on strike due to safe distancing).

I remember a WSer talking about the ADT service & mentioned an app for your phone. Also mentioned possibly being able to hear inside the home too edited and bolder for correction - this hearing inside the house app was Alexa? This I found strange and passed it off as not true due to eavesdropping laws (I might watch too much mystery TV). But let’s say this is true? Could LS access it right then? Could LE through a warrant for ADT?

Speaking of ADT we seen how they can record the time stamp for opening & closing of doors & even motion sensing in certain rooms. Can it tell how many people passed through the door before it closed? Could this be how they knew G returned either by the count of bodies moving through a door or maybe motion sensors in G’s room picked up 2 bodies? My curiosity

MOO that is a good question about how the door alerts works.

If what I think I see on RDs video is true, Gannon exited truck at same time as LS and ran to the house before LS (who scarily flings her door open and MOO jumps out in a combative landing.
RD's video angle only has front half the driveway as camera is actally focused on the entrance and sidewalk of Mandan St.

MOO if Gannon came home with LS and if he went through front door MOO the ADT Ring type camera there would have video of him.

So, if he came home in truck MOO he had to have gone through the garage. Or tried to go through the gate to the back slider which seems like a very remote possibility.

MOO he ran to garage keypad punched in code ducked under the door and trying to stay ahead of LS ran down to his room and shut his door. She follows him and kills him, looks at the mess she has made and goes into extreme efficiency mode.
I cannot see why she opened the back slider 10 times unless she was dumping used buckets of dirty vinegar water.

ADT Door Sensors
They can not determine how many people enter the house.

It is a two piece magnetic contact sensor which sends a signal upon separation/contact i.e. when the door is open separating, then making contact again upon closing. One sensor would be on the door the other on the door frame.

ADT Motion Sensors
It is the motion detectors they are using to determine that two people are in the house. One person is in basement, the other upstairs.

I can not see LS triggering both motion sensors at once but I am sure it will be argued in court. That will be exciting. Eye roll. Yawn.

rsbm

I mentioned this previously, but a couple of AA statements, which I read and take at face value, are what made me think Gannon did not return after the Monday PetCo trip.

AA 32: After viewing the video, I [Detective Jessica Bethel] cannot be sure if another person exited the vehicle or not, but I submit it is likely Gannon did return home with Letecia that afternoon.
Bethel is speaking about LS returning after the Monday PetCo trip.

AA 44: [after LS is in the house after the Monday PetCo trip] . . . there is motion activity both upstairs and downstairs on the ADT records.
This statement does not say there was motion upstairs and downstairs at the same time, does not say the motion was simultaneous.

My interpretation, others may read it differently.

Is simultaneous motion implied? I don’t think so, otherwise I think AA 32 would read more definitively that Gannon returned home with LS after the Monday PetCo trip.

IMO

Can't answer the ADT (never had it, only a cheap variant with window/door sensors); but Alexa absolutely has been used in court cases (3 different states):
