Everyone here must be collectively holding their breath.
Between this case and Faye Swetlick, I have anxiety and am on my 6th coffee today. Probably from the caffeine but I have been going back and forth between the two.

Same.

Hypothetically speaking if a marriage is not working out and a divorce is filed a person will start looking for their next partner.
Imo.
Maybe. Me? I'm fortunate, marriage for life. If he dies before I do, I'm single for life!

Nah. I'm gonna step into this one and say this -- a SAR person who talks or posts about mission-related information, including photos, is not long for SAR. That is completely unacceptable. SAR mission data is considered sensitive LE info, it's one of the first things you learn.

Hmm. You should have my twitter feed (lots of SAR groups and individual SAR members). And in fact, since I make a point of being friendly to them, sometimes they just give me information. But seriously, several SAR groups take photos and publish what they are doing. They even write up case studies. Maybe they all end up getting kicked off, if they do, many of the ones posting are quite young (20's).

(I'm in California; technical SAR people - I won't name groups - also give a lot of information out on SM once in a while).

Please have the SAR teams in your thoughts. This can't be easy.

  • #688
I like it being there. I can go back to the first page and reference any information that is in the timeline of events
scrolling is not hard physical labor, it's easy!

  • #689
Actually, she did give permission to discuss SM.
We just are NOT allowed to trash her or call her names so saying if she was married, not married, etc is Allowed.
You're correct.

Of major interest imo is if there was a change in the marriage and if so why LS was still allowed to care for children that she should've clearly not been watching ?
Hypothetically the last person you want to have full or even partial custody over your children is someone you're thinking about leaving or have already let them know ; even without it being official ?
Dangerous in this specific case.
If anything like this was happening.
So that's hypothetical.

Yes, exactly.

Oh, and the Palmer Lake Herald has reported that it has several credible reports that a phone pinged in that area they are searching. There are a lot of people standing around, talking to various personnel as they go in and out of the staging area. Naturally, SAR people get training, but they are volunteers and some of them do talk or post on their own SM.

Nah. I'm gonna step into this one and say this -- a SAR person who talks or posts about mission-related information, including photos, is not long for SAR. That is completely unacceptable. SAR mission data is considered sensitive LE info, it's one of the first things you learn.

My team leadership would be apoplectic. Even posting that you're ON a named search will rain fire down on your SAR career in my world. It destroys your relationship with the LE agency, who is your customer.

Thank you for this. I don’t want to blame the wrong person. This is horrible no matter who did it.

I agree. I learned after Heidi’s case that anything and anyone is possible.

Agree. In fact who would talk? Everyone on the site is law enforcement. Aren't SAR basically civilian volunteers, did they get to stay?

blue checks don't mean much... many of the alt rights and other loopers had blue checks before they all got banned from Twitter. It is a mere verification for twitter that they work for who they claim to work for and their ID has been verified..it does not mean they are sane rational or okay in any way. However this guy seems fine and not associated with any nefarious actions or journalism
Take a look at his Blog. Conspiracy theorist. He's not a journalist, he has a talk show on the radio.

Yes , indeed, yes!
Hypothetically the writing must have been on the proverbial wall.
Action/Reaction should have been hypothetically expected?

His bio says he's an AM740 kvor.com radio talk show host and his show is listed on their site: Richard Randall

Looks as legit to me as it gets. :)
No blu check. Radio Personality does not make one authorized mainstream media, IMO. I’ve alerted a mod to check.

Is he verifiable on location, today?
Is he at the search site?

No. Some seemingly significant search activity, but no known results yet.

That was the best giggle I've had today!!!

"What does that even mean? Gannon cut his foot because there are a lot of tools? That's like saying "I bumped my head because there are a lot of trees." IOW why wouldn't she simply say he cut his foot on a tool AS left lying on the floor - which also doesn't make any sense BTW - or whatever the hell she meant."
Ita.
Does Albert even DO woodworking ?
Or is it like a man who spends his spare time "sport fishing" but buys tons of lures and gear without sometimes even opening the packages and occasionally sleeps on his boat instead of fishing ?
Any woodworking tools in the house/garage that were just stored there ?
As in, not left laying around on the floor ?
Pretty sure Gannon wouldn't cut his foot on anything hung up on a pegboard wall or stored in a tool kit. :(
