I think she was replying to you based on SM story constantly changing, not her narrative persay. The first reports were, G was a runaway, then pretty soon after he went to a friends SM didnt know the name of, and now as of SM latest statement to "think about suspicious cars"

I remember so many searches for Kyron that seemed sure to be “the one”...coming to nothing. I do not know what to think of this latest search...obviously they have reasons for where they choose to search...I hope their work gets results...

Didn't LE state yesterday it is one of the areas being searched?
The reports today with unverified dog accompanying, were of a visit to the home, or a search of the home?
It's quite possible they have other leads in different directions which they are not disclosing.
Quite honestly, though I know it is a possibility may not be with each passing day, I have a feeling he will be found.
LE spokeswoman sounded quite confident yesterday.
BUT I am surprised they did not locate him today.

I'm a foot print tracker. I have worked side by side with dog teams and handlers for many years. Sometimes I even volunteer to be the "subject" for advanced dog teams to search for since I have a whole bag of tricks to throw them off the trail. Been doing it for over 50 years. I read foot prints like you read the words in this post. The only thing I can't tell from prints is the color of the subjects eyes, skin and hair.

That is amazing! It must be interesting and heartbreaking work.

I just read the apology. He made a headline making statement, then broke it down to where if he would have said that originally no one would have called him out. Rapid??!! 3 days?? Well no kidding, you dont need a crystal ball or a "trusted source" to see a conclusion could happen soon. Jesus

This is correct.

In this case, even though the police agencies have not named anyone as a suspect it is obvious there are problems with Step-Mom's story. We can certainly discuss the changing story and other areas but again, you can call her a murderer or outright accuse her of a crime and finally no name-calling. Thank you.

Yes Tricia gave us the go ahead on that last or 2 threads ago? Discuss her and the facts, etc. She never said sleuth her and post info the way we normally do when someone has been named a suspect. Yet, that's happening anyway so, it's better to be sure, yeah? Just hoping for clarification.

Rarely are things black and white when it comes to the Websleuths rules.

One of our rules is we cannot accuse just anyone of a crime. Good rule. Another rule we do our best to follow is unless law enforcement says someone is a suspect or even a person of interest we cannot accuse anyone connected to a case of a crime.

Then we have our great big gray areas. Like Gannon's case.

It is rare these days for law enforcement to actually say someone is a suspect but we have to use our common sense.

Take the case of the missing children of Lori Vallow. Her behavior and the fact that people around her are dropping dead leaves us with the very logical conclusion that she has done something with her children and therefore we do allow our members to discuss this case with Lori and her husband Chad as possible perps involved in her missing children.

Mark Sievers was just convicted of 1st-degree murder in the death of his wife Dr. Teresa Sievers even though he was hundreds of miles away when she was murdered. Early on we allowed our members to discuss Mark Sievers as a suspect because of what our members discovered and it was only common sense that he was a suspect.

Then there is the case of Heidi Broussard. Her boyfriend was 100 percent innocent in her disappearance and her murder but many members decided to accuse him of being involved because he was awkward in front of the camera. I hope that those who felt it was OK to accuse a man when there was no evidence to suggest he had anything to do with the crime will re-think before they ever do something like that again. Remember, unless the Internet blows up, Heidi and Shane's children could (one day) read your words about their father.

I'm not quite sure what youre asking, but my interpretation of "the search" is it doesnt pertain to anything other than setting up the 1st story of GS being a runaway. I honestly dont think SM carried through with a well thought out plan, based on conflicting stories from herself.
