Still nothing? :-( And yes, @MassGuy I think she snapped too. Unfortunately, I think she used that same intelligence in disposing of him and we'll have to wait for spring thaw.

You local people, stay safe out there! It looks nasty!

Anyone know if they are going to do a presser soon?
Ha! We wish. That’s all we would be talking about if that was the case.

They are down to providing updates twice a week now, so anything like a presser would be a big deal.

It's a miserable day here. Very windy, cold and it's been snowing off and on all day. I think the low tonight will be close to 0. It's supposed to be sunny and warm for the rest of the week in case they get back in searching mode. We haven't had a lot of new snow but we have some awesome new drifts.

My husband and I have spent a lot of time driving up and down 105 and Spruce Mountain Road, taking little side roads and trying to put ourselves in the shoes of someone in her hypothetical situation - not much time due to school hours, not wanting to be seen, trying to find the right spot that is accessible enough for her strength capabilities where evidence won't be found, panicked about what has occurred, trying to get a story together for other family members, thinking about what needs to be cleaned up at the house, blah, blah. No luck yet. I'm pretty sure if that many search personnel didn't find him, we won't, but it's soothing to feel like we doing something.

One small story from when the search was going on. When I was waiting in line to drive by the search area (when they had the road down to one lane), I told the LEO that I had noticed some stuff (Amazon box, small bag of trash, other items) on the shoulder of 105 about 50-100 feet south of where they had us stopped. That stuff is still there. Maybe they checked it out, maybe they didn't. I should go pick it up and see what it is.

God Bless you @Silverheels for all of your help in trying to find our little guy !!
Also, for giving us great details pertaining to the searches, weather, locations and everything !!
You ROCK !!!!

Best thing to do right now, is keep this thread going on with positive thoughts and prayers for Gannon and his family. As his mom put it "Please don't let this go away."

I'm afraid to post these days. So much conflicting information and I can't for the life of me remember where each snippet came from.

I just know if I open my mouth I'll spew out something from Social Media and be in the doghouse.

Carry on all....I just want Gannon found, brought home to his family and for those that are responsible, pay the price. I'm tired of the games and the lies.

It's time for someone to man up, or as the case may be, "woman up", and tell us where this precious child is.

MOO
100% the same! Plus, stuff we ARE allowed to discuss meshes in my mind and leads to stuff we AREN'T allowed to... so I can't complete my thoughts anyway. I'll just keep praying for Gannon and his family!

With all the amazing & caring people on WS and the LE involved in this case, I can say for certain that that's one thing that won't happen!

Prayers of wisdom for LE!
Thoughts of peace & love for Gannon!

EXCELLENT observation & reasoning! Premeditation in it's raw form :(:( Lucky for us she didn't have an app to check RD's & other neighbors!

3 Questions:
-Can more than one person check the app at the same time? Just wondering if AS was able to "see" what he could not see (Gannon returning home at 2:19 or leaving to play with a friend?)
-How long would their Ring footage be stored? Still in in the could if "someone" erased it?
-Do you get an alert if your Ring is turned off or stops working?

We pay the subscription fee for our Ring and I'm not sure what's included without the subscription. That said....
1. We can both be checking the Ring at the same time
2. I'm not sure how long it's stored, but I can still get back to early January
3. We get an alert when the battery needs to be charged. I don't know if we would get alerts it was turned off or stopped working, but it would be easy to see in the app that it had been turned off. Not sure if there are log files or if we (or LE) could get to them.

So now when they finally present the evidence it'll turn out that an unknown vehicle was at every location and the occupants match your description :D

Does anyone know if the house is sealed off for evidence at this point? I know MCL has been there several times, but I hadn't heard this was the case.

First time posting, I don't believe I will post anything against the rules, but I apologize if I do!

I've only just found this site about 2 weeks ago because of Gannon. I'm in the Springs. I've never been THIS fascinated by a case before, but there's just so much to this one, and having so many pieces, but not enough confirmation to glue them together feels like a chronic case of tip-of-the-tongue phenomenon. I feel like I KNOW the answers here, but I just can't be certain.

Anyway, the reason I feel compelled to post is to share a little perspective to one of the biggest questions I see being asked. We all seem to be pondering something along the lines of "Why isn't LE giving us anything"/"Is the case going cold?"
I have family, and family friends in LE. I will not ask them about the case because that could compromise the investigation, and doing so is, I feel, disrespectful. HOWEVER, from what I know about how prior cases have been worked, they are keeping quiet because SM can only complicate and corrupt what they know and, as we all have witnessed, any scrap of an answer leads to conspiracy. (Just look at how fast we all jump on the opportunity to discuss the car rental once we got the green light...)
This is all pretty obvious though, I've seen it mentioned, or implied a few times on this (too long:() thread. Its also exactly this type of behavior that can lead to minor breaks, or somethings big breaks. But it has to be governed. Releasing too much info allows the case to take on a second life separate, and louder, than that which LE is trying to figure out. However, to think the SM pages and even WS isn't monitored by LE just in case is silly. (I'm in no way implying anyone here doubts)
But, LE also has to tread lightly so that, when this goes to trial, a Jury can actually be selected. Everyone who has any interest in this case has already prosecuted the person they believed did it... Or, if they believe LS is innocent, they are stubbornly objective. If there was even slightly more fact and less speculation, it would be SO MUCH WORSE. (look what happened after the neighbor's video was released/leaked)
A final note about where LE is at- I feel that they are absolutely waiting on a confession or a body. Without either, it leaves too much to chance. If all the trail for this has is circumstantial evidence, perp could walk. There is TOO MUCH evidence that we know about to believe LE doesn't have a solid lead.
Again, I have not spoken to any local LE about the case, and this is just MOO based off what I know about LE operation.

P.S. I love the community here, I love how civil the conversation is, and I love the dedication to being fair and doing what's correct. Keep it up WSers :)

I really did think about that when I was stalking the search teams and pulling into the staging area late at night to see who/what was still there.

I think the search was a like throwing a large blanket out on a lumpy lawn, the trying to find a mini sd card under it by using a 100 toothpicks, in rows of 10-20 toothpicks in a row like a comb to poke down through the blanket and the speed you could use your toothpicks would be slow.
But if the blanket was taken off you find it without a lot of problems.

I completely agree. I believe they have circumstantial evidence but not what they want for a guarantee conviction.

Interesting that they hadn't apparently checked that bag of trash....hopefully they didn't check it and put it back, that would be disappointing. Be careful when checking! Thanks, Silverheels and Mr. Silverheels. Appreciate the reports!

Jennifer Dulos case took 8 months, and they had the evidence of a fatal assault. So constructing this is likely to take at least that long.

I could barely stand to go to that thread, it was a grueling wait and I wasn't even there from the beginning as so many of you were.

This could easily take that long. Colorado has a few unsolved cases regarding chidren on its hands and would not like to have more.

OTOH...Fotis had a lot more money/resources than anyone in Gannon's story. I am hopeful that it will be less than 8 months to arraignment.
