I'm genuinely questioning whether or not SM has ever actually been licensed as a teacher.

I've seen a screenshot of an official document from a district she worked at which does indicate she was, in fact, a licensed teacher. But yeah...until I saw that I totally thought this same thing as you.

Frankly, she doesn't sound bright enough to be a teacher.

Both her grammar and her diction in that interview are abysmal.

Agreed!!

So reminiscent of Mark Redwine. Just sickening.

I was also reminded of Mark Redwine. UGH! :(

Yes, I didn’t like from the minute I saw it. moo - online group coordinator with a local search team posted in a local newspaper. I think?

Not sure either but IT was the first flyer I saw in MSM.
Immediately troubled with what it said.

bradford, how ya doing? I know you’re not local. Our paths have crossed many times for awhile now. I was offering maps out to locals that might be helpful to locals viewing that can’t physically search.

Does anyone else feel frustration? My hopes are fading. I feel my eyes begin to sting. I want his parents to hold Gannon. I want to see Gannon, little boy blue, smile at his mother.
Thank you for those links and for posting the drone videos.
Glad your on this case!

Frustration is so easy to feel on a case like this. We all feel so protective of this child based on the toxic dose of info that was given in stepmom's interview.

IMO, hope has to outweigh any frustrations.
I am hoping that LE has a mountain of info they are going through and it is leading them to find Gannon alive and well.

If they can prove he was alive at 3:30 in the afternoon, then I think that Gannon is on the run. To where? No clue!

Just my heart being hopeful and JMO.

I don't believe he ran away.

Even if his home life was a problem, he did have a relationship with his bio mom. He spent time with her. She had joint custody. He didn't need to run away! He could talk to his mom. He probably could have gone there. If he wanted to run away and get to her I could understand but, just running away to nothing makes no sense whatsoever. Gannon had options if he needed to run away or, WANTED to run away.

I do not believe the narrative that is being fed to us at this time. It is nonsensical.

My guess is that there is a ton of stuff going on behind the scenes. LE is actually pretty quiet. They are not tipping their hand but I think this is going to go down the way many of us anticipate.

Unfortunately, I don't foresee a happy ending.

MOO

I'm in TOTAL AGREEMENT and sadly have felt this way since day one.

Well the current status is a search campaign and actual searching. So, I reckon somebody must believe it is possible that he is alive and searchable if still alive.
I don't think we're being fed a narrative, they could not justify the cost of a search of this extent if no hope existed that he didn't run away from home.
It's a pretty balanced equation for that reason.
But, he has not been found.
It is desperately distressing.

RBBM

Apologies if I was not clear.

It is not that I don't believe LE's motives and work, I am not buying SM's narrative, and she is most definitely, spinning one.

MOO

Does anyone have a sense of what might lead LE to move the incident command location today?

Is this most likely driven by LE receiving electronic information re: cell phone pings, gps tracking, etc., or what?

That came from an aunt, not his parents.
His S M described him as liking video games, His neighbor described him as enjoying basketball and playing in their yard every day..
We have no real description of his skills, talents or hobbies.
Yeah, I still have a very hard time believing this child ran away. He did not take anything with him.The nights are cold.

His dad said that even his not telling anybody which friend he was going to see was unusual for him.

I can't imagine he would cause so much worry and stress to his family by running away.

I feel your energy singing through the air. I’m absorbing it all in. It’s a rush. Especially this:
If they can prove he was alive at 3:30 in the afternoon, then I think that Gannon is on the run. To where? No clue!

Where would he run?
To his mom. ❤️

I don't think his intention in running away was formed in delinquency, more of necessity. He could well have feared for his life and did it in desperation.
It was the local area the searched today as well. That suggests they think he did. They didn't find him though.

I believe so and also perhaps LE is expecting OTHER teams to join.

When did LE take the Jetta?

Yes, I imagine a lot of us picked up on that right away. It’s a deliberate strategical move. For sure. I smiled when it I saw the county jail mentioned. Seemed appropriate to me..

It looks like the El Paso Jail is at a midpoint between Garden of the Gods and Fountain, CO. Backing up to a wildlife area and pond, per Google Maps.

why move the incident command a thousand times?
They just set up a ground zero in past couple of days.
Today they searched locally again.
Did they locate something on that search that caused the move? Is that what they mean here? what ? Why?

I am not sure that LE searching the local area means they believe he ran away.

It could also mean someone needed to dispose of him in a hurry, and had no time to drive far away, because of other circumstances.

Is it far from his home?

True but someone had a vehicle to do that more efficiently. And much further away.
