Seeing those quotes written out like that, somehow makes it seem much worse.

It’s almost as if she just doesn’t get it. Damn good thing there’s not a life on the line or anything.

Priorities.

To me, the most damning moment in this entirely damnable interview comes at the very end, when she must have realized she needed to make at least some show of concern, and delivered a tearful-sounding message to GS.

Problem being, she delivered this tearful, heartfelt message to GS with her back to him the entire time.

If you actually believe a child is alive and might possibly hear you speaking to him, you know what you do?

You turn around, you face the camera, you stare directly into it, and you tell that child you love him, and you're not going to stop looking for him, and you want him to come home.
That's what you do.

That's what his mommy did.

Not this one, though.

The fact that SM couldn't turn around and face the camera as she ostensibly spoke directly to GS, instantly told me everything I didn't want to know:

She literally can't face him.

This chick is her own worst enemy.

I just hope and pray that she wasn't GS's.

If you do a search on youtube for Gannon Stauch drone footage, I believe the mans name is Bradley Thomas who took the videos/uploaded them to youtube.

Very cool for him to do that. I've watched a few of them and it's quite impressive what drones can do these days.

I hate the thought of this little innocent being hurt on every level imaginable throughout his short life.
I'm personally going through a rage-stage now with this or her. I'll stop.
The world really does seem overstocked with narcs right now. Not sayin' much for the future of the planet and all on it.

I still haven't had a chance to completely come up to speed, but want to ask a question regarding SM. Is what we see in this interview a PD, or is she known to use drugs? I'm not being flippant, that interview was just super weird. Sort of reminds me of Karlie Guse's SM

Not all bad parents are child murderers, there’s no doubt about that.

And God knows we’ve seen cases where innocent people come off poorly, and draw suspicion upon themselves.

Even if I ignore that interview though, the whole scenario is problematic.

If runaway doesn’t make sense, then some sort of abduction makes even less sense. All the weirdness here would have to mean nothing, and some predator would have had to get incredibly lucky.

Law enforcement has never behaved as if they thought this was a runaway child, although they did publicly state that for a time.

Some problems I have:

The time gap between he was last seen.

The fact that he didn’t go to school, but then allegedly went to an unnamed friend’s house.

The lack of any witness sightings, or surveillance footage.

That uncorroborated Google search, which I tend to believe is true. It is the only explanation I can come up with for a quick determination by law enforcement, that Gannon ran away.

I firmly believe that not only did that search happen, but it was an effort to mislead.

It wasn’t Gannon who did that.

The sky is the limit.
He is lost now.
Prayers went unanswered, yet again and people really did pray.
She's obnoxious but not worth our time until she becomes a POI. Then files will be coming out of everywhere at a very fast pace.
I was SURE he would be found yesterday.
I'm old, been here a long time, how dare I hope for the best with all I know?

She went after LE.
She went after his family.
She went after the public.

She was definitely on the defensive.

I think LE pushed all the buttons to make that happen, too.
The search warrant being served out in a very public location.
Their press conference, in which they obviously avoided discussing her level of cooperation.

LE clearly decided to apply some pressure to her.

I think the interview is a direct result of that pressure.

JMO.

He has worked tirelessly and deserves a medal.
It appeared to be a green tarp or blanket on one of those but closer look not sure what it was. And also what looked like a blue puffer vest laying next to water caught up at the edge. I'm sure LE has reviewed these and per missing flyer those items don't match Gannon's clothing.

There was a convenient text from Gannon to dad. But he didn’t say which friend? IMO, if Gannon sent the text he would have asked if he could go a certain friend’s house. If not, as a parent I would have texted back and asked whose house!

Stepdaughter was clearly coached by mom on what to say as said in the backward’s interview.
Why is she and her husband not speaking? Does he not believe her?

This is my first comment. I just had to say after all this time and all the missing, found dead, found alive, this is the most bizarre interview I've ever seen. Her little daughter, forced into the interview. Wow. She expects an apology??? Poor little guy.

How often does a couple separate this early in a missing child's case, when the child was in the care of the step-parent? This was very quick. Usually, the couple stays together until it finally comes out what really happened to the missing child. I honestly don't understand why the stepmother seems to be so mad about Gannon's mother staying in the home. What was she supposed to do? Go to a hotel? Jesus Christ, no matter how much you dislike someone, can't she have a bit more empathy torwards a fellow woman that has a missing child? I sense there's a lot of issues between the mother and the stepmother. I wouldn't be surprised if the mom was not allowed to participate in birthday parties and other events for the children, and I have been suspecting that from the mom she said something along the lines "mom and dad are, like you always wanted" in that press conference. Mom "not wanting" to take care of Gannon might be more a case of mom not being ALLOWED to. I don't know the whole story, but this is what it looks like. To me, I see Gannon's parents DESPERATE to bring him back home, and a stepmother worried about herself, about what people say and think about her, etc, above anything else.

You said it girl! What's the point of creating yet more drama when a little innocent kid is missing? And the last thing I'd do is publicly berate anyone for not being a "good" parent. Save that for after Gannon is found.

IMO the SM's nose is bent out of shape because dad is standing strong with Gannon's mom. MOO.

(1) Just one single search on his phone? What about computer use or phone use while "sick" earlier Monday?
(2) What was his demeanor at school, what did he say to friends, at school the week prior?
(3) Did Ring cams or other cams see stepmom's car after the hike, and also on Monday?
(4) Was little stepsister properly interviewed on Tuesday morning?

The daughter's statement was coached. I feel bad for all the kids involved. I too would like to know about the hiking. Remember behind most lies is the truth. I think she hid him in the woods. jmo

You are absolutely spot on! During the SM's rant, I immediately pictured her giving Gannon's dad the "it's me or her" speech....only, she didn't expect him to pick Gannon's mom!

I hope that Gannon's parents are getting the support they need from each other now, with minimal interference from the stepmonster. They are dealing with more than enough already, without her nonsense.
