Lots of discussion about why SM had her back to the camera during her infamous interview. She stated she has been receiving threats. I don’t care, if it was me I’d be staring right into the camera pleading for my son’s return and/or begging him to come home.

What if she was afraid someone would recognize her and say, “Hey, I saw that woman out by last Sunday night”, (or Monday morning).

TBH this was my first thought too. It's not hard to figure out what she looks like with a simple google social media search. If somebody really wanted to search her out and hurt her, it wouldn't be difficult, at all. So, I think her keeping her back to the camera had nothing to do with alleged death threats, but that she didn't want some one to recognize her.

It's already feeling really chilly. Took the pups out this morning and it's getting cold. I don't even want to think about that sweet boy out in this. They are saying up to 6 inches for our area, but possibly more if you get a band sitting on you. But it's the temps that are so troubling. Last I checked, I saw 2 below as a low for tomorrow, and with wind chills, I don't even want to think about it. This little guy is on my mind 24/7. He probably has no idea how many people already love him.

It’s definitely cold today. I went to let the cats out and there was some sort of frozen stuff falling sparsely. (I never know what to call it when it’s tiny frozen balls. Is that sleet?)

She must of not of been that afraid, she went shopping. She could have sent her mother/daughter to get things if she was afraid of ANYTHING. IMO

It does sound like a very targeted search is underway. I won't be surprised if later we learn there was a targeted interrogation happening concurrently. JMO

Seriously, I believe her. I believe she believes what she is saying. I believe she’s being truthful. She is deceptive by omission. The interviewer did a good job leading the conversation with open ended questions allowing her to freely express her words.

Will Gannon come home alive and safe? I don’t know.
Will she receive apologies? I think so.

MOO There's no way Gannon could be out there on his own for the past week, and survive.

Looking at the region around the new command post, well, there's all kinds of rough places there, bring it up on google earth and look at it, huge junk car lots, pre cast concrete mfr. facility (this place alone looks to afford a couple hundred hiding places), some wooded area, construction sites, row upon row of cars, trailers, etc., wow, it's just a hodgepodge of industrial sites galore.

I'm not seeing this turning out good. For Gannon to be alive, he'd have to be with someone for the past week, so that would mean abduction or kidnapping. Otherwise, I could be wrong, but I'm fairly certain of a tragic outcome.

I really do trust our LE. They are good people and good at what they do. So thankful for them.
My eyeballs hurt. Hurt from crying, from just feeling so incredibly sad. I find myself looking whenever I go anywhere. You feel like you NEED to do something. He's just a little guy. I'm cold with a jacket. Where is he? Is he hungry? Is he cold?
My husband said this case seems to be really impacting me much more than other cases. He asked me why. I told him because Gannon is HERE. And I feel like he belongs to all of us. And seeing his mom and dad at the PC destroyed my heart.
Gannon, buddy, we are still praying for a miracle.
