Absent Gannon being found or an arrest being made, atleast we are seeing movement here.

Yesterday there was quite a bit of activity at the Stauch home, with crime scene investigators removing evidence (and trying to be secretive about it).

Tomorrow there will be another search, and judging by the involvement of the National Guard, it appears to be large in scale.

The weather should be ideal, which will help them greatly. I’ll take what I can get at this point, but I like the signs we’re seeing.

The person responsible knows where Gannon is, unless she had an accomplice or unless she has spilled to someone else. I would guess she will stay far away. But then the audacity of this person never ceases to amaze me so who knows?

Weird to announce it. Hope no one goes out there to disturb the area, unless it is a guilty party trying to cover their tracks.
Maybe it was leaked to the media so they decided to confirm it. I don't think it will jeopardize the search. Jmo

Help me out. let’s say LE has a ton of circumstantial evidence against POI.

But when Gannon is found, is it even possible that an autopsy will reveal anything to help the DA in getting a conviction?

For all of us it’s all about finding Gannon.
But for the family it’s important to make sure the killer pays.

I hate that someone hid him somewhere. Hate isn’t a strong enough word.

Sure it's possible especially if he has been laying out there in the snow. I hate even saying this, but he's been preserved. So, if they find him and he's passed, he will tell his own story on what happened. And he won't be lying.

Anyone google earthed it? What’s there?

It could be as simple as a vehicle or POI taking 83 north to 105 and then continuing north on 105 to get on the other side of 25 and continuing north for whatever reason. Maybe something was tossed from the vehicle or the vehicle or POI lingered in that area for a long time?

Highway 83 AKA Parker Road is an alternative to 25 when traffic or weather is bad. And our infamous South Gap Construction on 25 has just hit the one year milestone, so even more drivers are using it than before. It

83 is also on the Fountain side of 25 so if someone was running errands or “shopping” on that side of town and 25 was not running well, it would not be unusual to take a side road and hop on 83 to go north.

If he’s at the bottom of a pond I would think it would be a difficult task on one’s own in the middle of the night. IMO

One of the reasons I would guess for the possible POI staying to the east is how unpredictable the traffic is in the Monument area right now due to the I-25 construction. When we go north to Denver or south from Denver, we continually check Google Maps so we can take the CO 83 is I-25 is too snarled.

Agree with parts of your statement. I hate to sound as if I’m qualified to diagnose (which I’m not... at all), but I will say that these disorders become easier to spot once you’ve seen it before. A sociopath has many of the same characteristics as the narcissist. Main difference being that they have no problem violating the rights of others to get their way. Like the narc, no ability for empathy or true remorse for their actions against another. Ability to lie and lie and lie without fear of consequences of being found out, they’ll just lie again (Which is why many mention CA). Their lies can make you crazy, make you question every tiny tidbit of information that you do have (as witnessed in these 20 threads), etc. They gaslight, they’re usually victims, they have zero self awareness because in their mind - their actions are justifiable, are self centered, etc. In my unprofessional opinion, TS fits this bill from what I’ve seen. I can’t try to make any sense of her non-sense.

Both Narc and Socio are extremely low self esteem, falsely confident, are usually abusers, feel the need to put others down in order to build themselves up, etc.IMO

And if I may add to your well-explained reply ... LS's appears to be defensive. But there is a difference a true victim and feigning victim. I will list a few:

A true victim
  • Recognizes their contribution to the dispute,
  • Can empathize with the reason why another hurt them,
  • They can still acknowledge redeeming qualities of the other.
Feigning victim
  • They deflect or ignore their own contribution to the dispute,
  • exaggerate their suffering and their negative view of the other,
  • They downplay or ignore any redeeming qualities of the other
A classic trait of a narcissist is feigning victim.

This is Gannon's mother worst suffering. And LS has done nothing but maliciously devalue her - publicly, and without compassion, shame or remorse. She can't even fake it for the cameras.

The idea of a camera makes sense to me, like your idea. Anyone aware of cameras in this area?

Yes, there are traffic cameras on I-25 and CO-105, in both directions.

There is a cell tower on the West side of I-25, on Monument hill. I think there's also one in Black Forest, but I'm not sure. They look like fake pine trees, and are kinda hard to miss.

This is very close to Black Forest. I mention this, because if the driver is unfamiliar with the area and used GPS, they likely went East on Jackson Creek Pkwy (CO-105) and South on 83.

83 is aka Interquest Pkwy, as you get into Colorado Springs. It does intersect back with I-25.

Ha! I had the same impression until you commented and I reread it.

This is very encouraging.

I bet I am not alone here in saying when YOU’RE encouraged, I am as well... and I’m sure others too!

I'm going the opposite direction.
They will search, great
But we should keep sleuthing.
A search does not mean a find.
It's just a search.. unless they spread in a hundred different locations and there are several thousand of them, I wouldn't be holding out too much hope here.

Now, if they were including ropes and ravines and mountaintops and bottoms and all that's in between I'd be more optimistic.

There's a petition doing the rounds and I share your thoughts on that but the truth may be that it was well over a week before that search started in the right direction.

I'm not at all optimistic that this too is not another knee jerk reaction.
To be seen to be doing etc.

She knew the area, in part.
She possibly knew where the most effective drop sites would be, she may have visited them in the past. Or she may have merely researched them. Or hit it lucky.
There is a substantial quantity of public interest here.
I'm not going to hold my breath.

Absolutely they will be able to determine some things. If he was poisoned then they will probably be able to determine that. If any bones were broken that would be readily seen. Depending on where they find Gannon it's possible that the weather conditions will have preserved physical evidence that will be able to tell a story. My only concern is if he is found in water. I don't know how that would effect an autopsy.

Pikes Peak Greenway Trail is interesting info. to read since we know someone likes hiking. I bet she knows of places related to the trail. Creeks and so forth, I have my suspicions that she may have used her knowledge during her travels. My opinion some connection is going on.

... She said she bandaged him up in the garage after he got cut. I would typically do that kind of thing in the bathroom with my boys, because I could wash the wound, apply medication, bandages or gauze, etc. The garage just doesn't seem like the most sanitary area to clean a wound. JMO

The house is relatively new. So, unless the concrete floor of the garage was sealed, it is still quite porous. Concrete absorbs moisture. Removing blood requires a bit more than just soap and water.

just a thought

I’d be very surprised if someone wasn’t keeping an eye open on the area
