I don't do selfies (I am really weirded out by photos of myself). I have taken pictures and a video of my youngest daughter when she was admitted to the hospital with meningitis. I was so afraid we would lose her. I took pics for when I went home to rest and her Dad stayed with her so I could rest. The video was also so I felt closer to her. I am a very broody Mom and would have refused to sleep if I stayed all day and night there. Thankfully she recovered with just a few side effects. I don't know anyone in my circle of friends who chronicles each car ride with selfies. That just seems weird to me. But then this person is VERY much about herself. One (additional) thing that really bothers me here... for all us parents out there- how many of us take selfies with our sick kids? I’m not referring to the snuggle pics where they just aren’t feeling well... I’m referring to when they have stomach flu, soiling themselves and projectile vomiting. I don’t think I ever have... actually- I’m certain I haven’t...
I also don’t think my husband would want to see those pics either... even if he’s traveling and wants to see real time what’s going on. I just wouldn’t do it.
but I’m also not a murderous monster...
