They look like older boot prints that may be a day or two old. Weathered in by melting / wind blown snow.

I am curious about the woman in the short sleeved red shirt and baseball cap leading everyone else with coats and knit hats.

This is from the same day, so I believe it is the same woman, she just had her sleeves pushed up in the other picture

Regarding the wording of the article, I am guessing that the article was provided to LE for review prior to publishing, and they may have requested certain things be excluded or more generalized, such as not naming evidence specific to the case, like what type of electronic device it may have been. I don’t know if that’s even something anyone in the media would do, but I get the impression it has happened a few times in this case with other reporters. Who knows.

It doesn’t seem all the probable. I bet it’s more likely she doesn’t know why they have found, so she’s generalizing to avoid outing herself about what type of items they should be looking for.

I think I have a headache now. Her entire statement is so convoluted.

I get utterly frustrated when threads revolve around TS because I know in my heart from my very first sighting of her that she will never lead anybody to his location.

I get bored and I get irritated because it feels like rewarding and feeding her thirst for attention.
I cannot listen to much more of it. I too have a headache.

If we spent the time poring over terrain maps in fine details and locating danger zones, holes and drops we might learn the geography of a new area even if we cannot find him.
It would be more gainful use of time IMO.

She will just drain everyone dry and troll the search and the discussion.
My mind slams the door on everything she says and does.
'cos 32 days has passed and a small child is lying out there alone in the cold somewhere in one or several pieces. In one or several locations.

We all have different life experiences but if I found evidence apparently related to a neighbor's well-publicized missing and endangered child nearly a week after the child had gone missing, I definitely would call LE.

I might show the evidence to a family member of the child first....Maybe. Not at all sure about that. But if I did show it to a family member-- one I was sure was innocent in the disappearance--I wouldn't be more or less likely to call LE because of his/her reaction. But that's just me.

I don't always trust some individual members of LE but once a child has been missing for many days, I wouldn't trust a family member to resolve the situation either, especially if the evidence appeared to implicate another family member no longer in the home. (I know some posts have said AS kicked out TS once he saw the video. But if RD really found the video on Saturday as he has said, that can't be true.)

To that I would suggest that KD had no way to know if it was already known that she had left with him or returned alone on that day without checking with AS. For all he would have known AS, LE and everybody concerned knew she had dropped him off somewhere, though it was not mentioned in the initial report.
I think he felt obliged to run it by AS first.

They could well have known each other as well.

A lot of parents say “electronics” or “screens” to refer to any number of devices that kids have or use. A lot of parenting advice literature refer to devices this way. Think pediatricians talking screen time, or an article touting if your kids misbehave, just take their electronics away! I don’t read into the use of the word at all. My ex-husband has always been concerned with these types of parenting issues and he calls my kids’ phones, chrome books, laptops, games etc the blanket word “electronic.”

I'm wondering for those in the know, is there a difference between "traffic cams" and what is called "red light cams"?
I highlighted the cams here with red arrows (and there are two more on the other side of the intersection) but I'm wondering if someone here knows how the footage for these cams is stored, or used.

I don't know if those are Colorado Springs, CDOT or Monument cameras. If they're CDOT cameras, nothing is recorded - they're for traffic viewing only. If they're CS cameras, it is my understanding that they take snapshots every two minutes. And if they're Monument cameras, I have no idea.

I have my phone set up so that it alerts me to any accidents on I-25 Gap that would cause delays (also when they close lanes for various reasons). I checked and, nope, nothing showing on the 27th.
Okay, but there could still be something in town. And also, not everything shows on the alerts, so maybe. I have looked a few places and so far I can't find anything showing an accident that would have diverted her onto backroads. I am still looking though. Just to make 100000 percent sure.
I see nothing on the police blotters. I don't see anything on a quick search of the page that the locals use to check traffic here in town, as well as to and from other cities like Denver. I saw an accident the day after on the 28th on I25. So far, nothing on the 27th. Again, I'm continuing to look, as I know this must be absolutely shocking to everyone here. Obviously, she would not be telling a falsehood. NEVER!
My computer is acting up and being slow, so still searching.....(and need to go make some chicken and dumplings for the sweet family. But will keep on peeking...)

I think poster says she won’t say what type of electronic device in case it can somehow tie her to the crime in some way. Like if they find a smashed switch or something disposed of on the side of the road. So TS avoids actually naming the actual type of device that has been or will eventually be found.

Me too. I don't see anything showing involvement from her and this must be an awful experience for her.

Even just listening to her on the cousin IT interview, she didn't sound like she wanted to be put on camera. I hope she has the support around her she will need.....healthy support I.e. not her mother.
