If she did dispose of that boys body, she did so before reporting him missing. There is no way she reported him with loose ends still such as moving his body.
I believe the rental was just to keep AS away from the truck where GS was last.
My thoughts, he was drugged or ill, she probably told him they were going to the hospital (especially if she DID hurt him at home)

drove 1.5 hrs or so away and the crime happened outside of the truck such as pushing him off a high cliff or into a body of water where she thinks is far enough away nobody will search.
Returned home hours later and reports him as a runaway. Again I think the rental is her being paranoid there may be dna of some sort in the truck.

jmo I am not as into all the details in this case as some others so I’m a probably off. But this is where my head goes per all of the reports.

I think most people agree! I do wonder if there’s any chance she had to do a rush job and later went back to move him or evidence to a better location.

I wonder if she asked for a white car. It would not stand out as much as a red truck.

Do we know that for sure? In the last thread someone posted "neighbors" said AS flew into Denver, not CS and his flight arrived mid-day. Someone else posted earlier flight times into CS from his supposed training location. Around 9-10 as I recall.

I don't think we have any LE or MSM confirmation of AS's arrival time or place do we?
JMO
I'm wondering if TS rented the vehicle at COS then drove to DIA to pick up AS. That would account for ~200 miles round-trip between the airports.

I'm not sure we've established the accuracy of the 955 odometer miles indicated on the rental invoice so a mileage argument at this point is pointless. We have no way of knowing unless LE releases results of that investigation element.

Here's the receipt before it got redacted

Also Leigh said the actual total cost of the rental bill didn't fit in the article as there wasn't enough space. I can't remember the exact amount but it was around $228 I'll have a look for that message also when I go on a hunt for her message about which car was driven to the airport
Anyone know why the drop off location is blacked out? I may be wrong , it could be something else. I had a hard time getting it to zoom in and not close.

I can't shake the feeling that a big presser may be coming soon. I followed Mackenzie Lueck's case as it unfolded. We spent hours on here guessing and talking ourselves out of certain theories then presser BAM! Not long after another with a bigger BAM that they'd located her. LE had early and steady finds long before we had any clue. I feel like this may happen here too.

Yesterday they said they meant to black out both pickup and drop box location and they re-released a second version with two black outs.

My husband died and I get SSI for my youngest son still , but I think if you get married they can cut the benefit.
My dad died when I was 16 (they had divorced when I was 3) and I received social security survivors benefits through college. It’s until the child turns 18 or leaves school. IMO my mom’s marital status wasn’t a factor. The checks only had my name on them.

I feel really bad & please, no offense but only because I saw other angles... the Stauch house is to the right and he is photographing a street view.
Wow. I'm on a roll. Yet another post I messed up. I know it's to the right and I thought I had typed "right"... these sleepless nights are catching up to me, big time. Mistyping is not typical for me, at all.

Notice in that post I do indicate the crashed vehicle is on the opposite side of the street from the Stauch house, so at least that context was maintained.

blah o_O

Happens to the best of us! Plus the site gets glitchy sometimes. I’ve had to fix like 20 posts myself.;)

JMO I don't think Gannon was 85/90 pounds. He seems quite a bit smaller than that. I suppose LE has medical

The average weight for a boy of 12 is between 67-130 lbs depending on height.
100 lbs being in the 75th percentile. My 11 year old son is 4ft 11 and weighs 98 lbs.
Gannon is 4ft 9 so 85-90 is a good weight and if he was 80 that's still the 50th percentile.
He doesn't look that different in size from my son.
If he was under 67 lbs then yes that's low and underweight.
He was born premature so his growth might be slower.

In the timeline. LE waited for two men and a woman to leave the house and then left themselves (LE). Could they have already been protecting AS? Suspecting TS was a risk to other family members? Or too soon? Who were the three people? This forum is pretty fast paced....

Agreed. Do you feel that would use 300-400 miles of gas?
Definitely.
400 miles divided by driving streets, at an average of 25 mph results in about =16 hours of driving. She had car for 28 hours.

Only 20 pages to catch up, is this normal? Start at the end and work backwards? TS absolutely had a reason for the rental car...think simple and illogical, why did she need extra time to get there, also simple, possibly illogical. I/we seem to be normal, intelligent, caring people... the solution to this puzzle is to be able to put ourselves into another person’s mind, none of her actions are logical, or she is truly diabolical...she could have driven to airport, then flight delayed...simple answer. Most of us have apps to avoid getting there too early, she is either absolutely that organized or she is just that disorganized that driving for 4 hours to accomplish a couple of errands is normal for her...I think the weeks before Gannons disappearance might be hugely insightful...

COPY & PASTED CRIMEONLINES WORDS AKA LEIGH EGAN

She said she drove her car and parked it there. She got it when she returned.

Total charges: $219.87

Sorry guys, we had limited space for that receipt.

She said she drove her own car to the airport and picked up it when the rental car was brought back. We've reached out to LE for comment on that but not expecting that they'll be able to confirm that.

I weigh 110 pounds and have carried my 11 year old (when he got stung by a bee/he’s allergic). So I tend to think it’s possible to do this unassisted, but if evidence turns up that there was a second person involved it wouldn’t absolutely shock me.

So are you guys thinking she took the truck to the airport with a dead child in it a few hrs before AS landed?? She would have to transfer GS to the rental car , dump him off somewhere and go back to get AS. Imo that makes no sense.
No, IMO on the premise that initial disposal was during the 4 hour Monday 10am—2pm outing, then she went back out later Tuesday in the Rental to possibly move the body to a 2nd, further away location. But I believe it more likely IF she went back to initial disposal site in the Rental, it was to check the body was well concealed, and continued driving around here, there, everywhere getting rid of other evidence.

We might get a presser regarding the interviews, tangibles and forensics investigation (at least an update) but maybe not yet regarding the searches investigation except maybe to announce another location/time.

As of yet, still no GS.

I really don't think it's a minor point at all.
This is the sort of thing I was referring to the other day when I said her lies are now engaged in mid-air collisions.

She wants the world to know, she took Gannon (and his sister) to a lovely, family hike at GotG, then to BK, his favorite, on Sunday.
I mean, they might as well be the next family on the cover of Parenting magazine.

except...

She also wants the world to know, he stayed home from school Monday because the day prior, he'd soiled himself and was too worried to go to school, so barf bag and dragging him along while she runs entirely non-essential BS errands.

Similar to the selfie from her phone, that is now Gannon's phone, and from the driveway, where she never actually backed up into that day.

And let's not forget, "shadows" and technology that can prove Gannon was with her, in the truck, parked in the driveway, that she never parked in, on the return trip that day.

And we might as well just go ahead and toss in runaway/friends house and yet, kidnapping and description of who, and who sent the kidnapper (that LE has known, since day 1).

She has lied SO much, she literally cannot keep a straight story.
The next round of horsesnot is going to sound just like the rest of it, contradictions and far more details about info that seems unconnected or simply outlandish.

How I'd love to be an observer if a journalist or LE would sit down with her and present these statements to her that she's made, and ask her to explain the contradictions.

jmo
yep
also the intial flyer she coined. with the word 'sick' in quotation with intended implication of sick being questionable.
