My dad died when I was 16 (they had divorced when I was 3) and I received social security survivors benefits through college. It’s until the child turns 18 or leaves school. IMO my mom’s marital status wasn’t a factor. The checks only had my name on them.
My name is on my son's as payee bc he's a minor. Our daughter turned 18 a month before she graduated from high school and that was the only time my name wasn't on her check as payee. Also they cut her off after high school graduation and the same with my nephew and niece , who's father also died. I wish my daughter got her's through college. She graduated from BGSU last May and we had to take out loans to pay for it.

yep
also the intial flyer she coined. with the word 'sick' in quotation with intended implication of sick being questionable.
Did that flyer get confirmed as coming from her?? That would make so much sense! :)

No, IMO on the premise that initial disposal was during the 4 hour Monday 10am—2pm outing, then she went back out later Tuesday in the Rental to possibly move the body to a 2nd, further away location. But I believe it more likely IF she went back to initial disposal site in the Rental, it was to check the body was well concealed, and continued driving around here, there, everywhere getting rid of other evidence.
That's how I see it as well.

If she did dispose of that boys body, she did so before reporting him missing. There is no way she reported him with loose ends still such as moving his body.
I believe the rental was just to keep AS away from the truck where GS was last.
My thoughts, he was drugged or ill, she probably told him they were going to the hospital (especially if she DID hurt him at home)

drove 1.5 hrs or so away and the crime happened outside of the truck such as pushing him off a high cliff or into a body of water where she thinks is far enough away nobody will search.
Returned home hours later and reports him as a runaway. Again I think the rental is her being paranoid there may be dna of some sort in the truck.

jmo I am not as into all the details in this case as some others so I’m a probably off. But this is where my head goes per all of the reports.
Can I just say that I love that your name is Trapper Keeper?:) #80schild

Anyone know why the drop off location is blacked out? I may be wrong , it could be something else. I had a hard time getting it to zoom in and not close.

Leigh also stated they were unable to post the complete receipt. Maybe size limits? Total cost was approximately $219

Apologize, not talented enough to bring posts over to new thread.

Thanks for this Murphy. I believe it was also returned to Colorado Springs because the redaction of the return does not include the "S" in "US" and it appears the "S" is in about the same location as in the pick-up address. How's that for scientific? :D
Why Why Why black out EITHER the pickup location OR the return location?? We know the PU location, but NOT the return location. If it was not impounded by LE in CO Springs, it very well could have been returned elsewhere.
Imo

Regarding the switch, if it is true it made the trip in the truck, I don't think Gannon was playing with it. I think the switch and all of Gannon's favorite things were gathered up to sell. That T, was tormenting him by saying she was going to sell them. Switches are not cheap. Many parents place small GPS devices on them to locate them in case they get lost.
She did say she had gathered up some things to exchange at the sports store so I guess anything is possible.

I wondered the same. If the dropoff location IS different for some reason, then maybe it points to a new area she doesn’t want us to know about. But if we believe they are the same, maybe she didn’t want anyone knowing the location and calling them up to check her receipt details? I am at a loss for any other ideas. You got anything? #janesunite

also, the receipt we are shown only shows $118 not $219. Where/What is the difference? Could it include a charge for returning as a one-way? There is a note to the right of the return location that says there is a fee for that.

I can see it , but it has a blackened box around it , like when you don't want someone to see your address or credit card information. But thank you

So I have been studying the maps in the various search areas. Is there any indication that LE has searched Forest Lakes or Rampart Reservoir? They seem like areas near some of the other search areas that would be accessible by car?

It's insane isn't it thinking this, but things like this have happened.
I sometimes forget what people are capable of.
I tend to assume if it sounds nuts; then it can't be true because who would do such a thing.
Nothing would shock me at this point.
God I wish there was some news, I'm becoming obsessed with this case!
On my days off work I pull all nighters waiting for something.
The 7 hour in front time zone is a pain.
I look at my youngest who is Gannons age, roughly the same height and build.
I look at him and think . . . . How could anyone hurt a child.
This case is breaking my heart.

Why? I’d love to hear what others suspect she (or someone else did) in those 300-400 miles. I don’t always agree with everyone else’s ideas, but I feel like other people’s ideas help me see other perspectives or prompt me to think of new angles! I definitely think that about your comments...tho I know you said you wouldn’t agree to people looking through your eyes ;)
At some point in most investigations one will walk in the alleged murderer's shoes, attempt to think and feel like the murderer... I'm seriously allergic to this woman. And I've refrained from diagnosing her as aclassic narc, bpd, sociopath, if that term is even still valid, or psychopath, depressive, schizophrenic.. I stay back. It's really weird.
And i have experience of all of the above personally and professionally and they don't bother me in the slightest.

I study terrorism, mostly.
That brings me to the fr right and all that goes with it and all the antigov groups and their cultures and sub cultures.
I have almost no patience with their lingo.
They insist upon defending themselves in courthouses.
Their arguments are tedius, boring and monotonous. I tried understanding them for ages, sought a mystical quasi spiritual element for their beliefs but they're so diverse, they are all different.
And that's what I heard when I first heard her speak, the tv interview. And my eyes rolled back in my head to such an extent I thought I'd have to get them surgically incised from my back!
I have like ZERO patience with their repetitive and tedious rationale and I pity any and every judge that has to listen to them for hours and hours.

I don't care where she went.
Because she is only about nonsense.
Her game is the wind-up.
Her creed is her soul.
I don't believe she has the slightest it of remorse for her actions.
I believe she is enjoying herself thoroughly.
She is loving having a Crimeonline distributor.
I resent her ilk.
I feel not a shred of compassion for her and I don't care what happens to her.

I reckon she had the crime scene well cleaned up in the 4 hrs she took prior to calling lE at 6.55pm.
I have no direct evidence she belongs to any of those groups but I feel she was certainly exposed to their creeds and is possibly heavily immersed in their culture too.
For them she would be high value jewel, married to a member of the National Guard and possibly privy to state secrets.
They hate the state and they despise LE.
LE treat them with the contempt they deserve .
and rightly so IMO

JMO IMO MOO etc

"While she is not disputing that she rented a car, Stauch said she didn’t rent the car until Tuesday, January 28, the day after Gannon mysteriously disappeared.
That morning, Stauch said she picked up her husband at the Colorado Springs airport; both left the airport in the rental car, she claimed."

So where did she go between the time she rented the car and when she picked up AS? His flight arrived a couple hours later.
. Yes,
I read his flight arrived between 11:30-12:30.

Well after looking more it appears gps comes standard in a 2019 Kia Rio so I don't see how T wouldn't know it wasn't gonna be a viable option if she was trying to do something untraced in it. I have no idea about how it all works. We always have had older models of vehicles so now I feel a bit silly thinking it would even be a possibility such a new car wouldn't be obviously traceable. I am clueless in how car tracking works with the systems. So if it was obvious the car could be tracked, did she rent it as a diversion? Drive everywhere, but where he really is to tie up time and resources away from GS? She pisses me off.
While a 2019 Kia Rio might come standard with gps , a fleet purchased rio might not.

I think she may have shared a new full version of the receipt in yesterday’s thread when she clarified the total.

Probably not likely..but...suppose during the Mon trip an injured boy was left for dead. If he survived somehow, he would definitely hide if he saw her vehicle. So the next day required an unknown vehicle and then back and forth and back and forth searching for any sign??? Just a thought

Agreed. And not being picky. You’re keeping me on my toes too because I sure could’ve missed it. All I have been able to narrow down is the LE interview of LS had to happen somewhere between Tuesday and Friday. But I’d be happy if we can narrow it down further.

Hey, Doc - I've searched MSM for backup and the best I could come up with is this timeline from KKTV. I know it doesn't specifically state that SM was interviewed but it could possibly be a safe assumption that she was one of the first, given she was the last person to see Gannon.

(RBBM)

"Timeline

The timeline from the moment Gannon was reported missing to the decision to upgrade the preteen to an endangered missing child was outlined by the sheriff's office as followed:

Monday, Jan. 27
- 6:55 p.m., El Paso County Sheriff's Office dispatch receives call of runaway child, 6600 block of Mandan Drive.
- 7:32 p.m., Gannon Stauch entered into state and national databases as active runaway
- Last seen between 3 and 4 p.m. on the 27th
- Nothing found on initial search

Tuesday, Jan. 28
- 12:29 p.m., case turned over to EPSO investigators
- Detectives conduct interviews, collect surveillance, follow up on additional leads"

ENDANGERED: 11-year-old Colorado boy has been missing 1 month
