I'm surprised they were staying in the house. Didn't anyone realize that it was a possible (probable imo) crime scene from pretty early on? Maybe the chances of them inadvertently destroying evidence are relatively slim?

I absolutely see something large and very dark in that screenshot during the day. But it's not there in the shots at night. It's way too big and dark to be a shadow. But I can't fathom a body laying out on the ground during daylight hours. But I definitely see what you are talking about for sure. It's not just a blurred spot.
Wonder if it's a big duffle bag?

so sad seeing pictures of gannon. what a beautiful boy.:(

I will say the pic of SM and the kids hiking appeared like the kids weren't threatened by her, maybe just the activity itself had them buzzed up and happy.
but looks can be deceiving too.

did anyone else get vibes of darlie router from SM????o_O

that interview made me feel like I needed a shower. that's how I feel every time I listen to darlie.

she is digging a hole deeper and deeper by the day.
THANK YOU GOD.

moo
I couldn’t put my finger on it but you nailed it. She absolutely reminds me of Darlie R. So self absorbed, bizarre mannerisms, talking in circles, etc. I grew up in Rowlett Texas just a few streets over from the Routier house and now I live in Colorado Springs. Go figure.

Gannon's father is a member of the National Guard, and the Guard is assisting with search efforts.

Due to his age and expected weather, the Major Crimes Unit is assisting in the search because they have more tools at their disposal.

I looked at google maps, and Gannon's entire subdivision has zero houses built in it. Seems strange that google's picture would be that old.

But doesn't Gannon's street end a couple of houses past his? You can see it in some of the pictures, or news reports. I can't find any part of gannon's street where this would occur. I guess it doesn't matter. I think the important thing is that gannon's house is 2 doors down from the camera (on the same side of the street). Your diagram shows this relationship.

I'm more concerned about the google map. It looks like the subdivision is in the beginning stages of construction.
Our google map doesn’t show our neighbor’s house and our houses were built in 2009!

Good man. Imagine that. He works. He has a life. And likely just wanted to rest. But he was vested enough to search through 7 hours of footage.
And whatever is was that he saw, was absolutely huge.

As the saying goes, “not all heroes wear capes.”

I don’t see how you can discern at all where that blob is. Could be a person walking. Carrying something. I think that would be more likely than a body dumped on the ground for some reason, for awhile.
Well, LE asked the news networks not to release any footage with the evidence so I'm thinking we haven't see what it is that the neighbor spotted yet.

Imo

Check Zillow.com. They have up to date photos usually. My go to source.

My best guess is that he saw someone loading something into a vehicle and driving off.

Looking past the guy walking and the dog trailing behind (smelling at the electrical box...funny it seems a lot of people from other areas don’t know these!? When you’re house hunting it’s nice to find one without a box in your front or back yard. Our neighbors are the lucky ones who got it)...anyway, Gannon’s driveway is the one beyond the electric box and there is a vehicle parked there. Backed up? What type of car did the family own? Was this that or a rental car? Oldest daughter’s car? Another person’s car? I think this is the thing of interest in the pic and we’re just seeing the person.
Judging by the clearance between the undercarriage of the vehicle and the concrete, I would say it's a truck. The daughter drives a Jetta, and for some reason I want to say it's white??

They may not have noticed anything if it had been cleaned up or altered.

In Kelsey Berreth's case LE didn't notice anything unusual when they first looked around the house.

Very good point, on the first inspection of Kelsey's house nothing seemed wrong, but when they came back the second time and used luminol, it was clear foul play had occurred.

ETA...also In the Danielle Stislicki case, they searched Floyd Galloway's home I believe three times...it wasn't until the last search that investigators realized something sinister had definitely happened in that home.

Not to mention that it is in the wrong driveway. Gannon's driveway is the next one down.

The street doesn’t end, it turns into Rubicon Dr. then rounds a corner. It looks like it ends because there is nothing beyond the street except for the creek. That subdivision is fairly new. The builder only opened in 2009, and Realtor.com shows a house on Gannon’s street for sale that was built in 2018. I think I read somewhere that Google tries to rephotograph streets every five years or so, but I don’t know that for sure so it’s moo.

When @GordianKnot said on page 3 of the 2nd thread: “Is this woman so clouded by her animosity toward GS's bio mom that she transferred those feelings of animosity over to GS?”, the answer is yes.

The answer was yes for my son anyway. My son was raised by his dad & his SM. She hated me so much that she verbally, emotionally & mentally abused my son from the time he was 7 until after he graduated high school.

When my son was 11 until the present day he has had suicidal ideation. It was so bad (it was/is always bad & very very sad but it was even worse between the ages of 11-12) that he had to be hospitalized at a place for mentally unstable adolescents until all of the abuse was confronted by his Drs to his SM & they all had to sign a legal document & had to agree to do family counseling & to get my son his own private counseling. Although it didn’t really help. A little bit here & there his SM would change for a few weeks but she ALWAYS ended up reverting back to her abusive ways.

I don’t want to be one of those parents who only talks about how this has affected them but I do want to say that all of that had to take place the way that it did bc I didn’t have legal custody of my son. It was devastating for me as a parent to be absolutely helpless to & for my son.

I don’t want to get into how angry it makes me & how badly it hurts me bc I’m not trying to make this all about me. I just want to share that it is possible for a step parent to hate the bio parent so much that they would abuse a child.

My child is now in his 20s. He has Stockholm syndrome, is a drug addict & allows women to physically abuse him, emotionally & mentally as well. Among other things.
So although he didn’t physically die by her hands, he is for the most part dead on the inside.

I’m really sorry to hear all that. For him and for you.

My niece had a similar situation and is now 21 with major issues. But no one could ever prove anything really. We tried hard to prove what was happening. Teachers had a good sense but nothing could be proved. It was also her step mother.

I’m thinking about Kyron Horman when I think of this case. I don’t understand some people. I mean even the SM in this case describes Gannon as super sweet and helpful.

Poor little guy.

I am hoping this is good news but I also pause because I guarantee LE told that neighbor not to reveal one way or another what exactly he saw. It's very perplexing because it's almost as if he's speaking out of both sides of his mouth. He mentions that "he hopes he's found quickly and brought home safe and that he hopes it gives the family some closure". I'm not sure what exactly that means? I believe he also said he saw the boy playing Sunday. If something went wrong Sunday we still have reports that the Step Mom kept him home from school on Monday due to not feeling well and then allowed him to walk to a friends house to play and he's never seen again? I guess only time will tell...but I have never been so lost.
