I did, too - did not see steps/shadow pass underneath car. And I also believe it was a game changer because she never told LE that she took him anywhere that day. There was no reason to lie about it if she was not involved.

But if that is the case, why did LE allow everyone to think he had been missing since the afternoon on foot and likely a run away for so many days? All the searching by the public for several days was predicated on the word of SM who said he left on foot late in the afternoon. And how long does it take to search traffic cams to determine her route? The public should have been asked if that car was sited with Gannon during that period of time by making this info public. It's not like she was cooperating anymore, anyway. I also think if FBI had seen this footage early on they would have asked the neighbor not to report this to the media. It does not seem like this is what happened - the neighbor even said LE told him his footage was a game changer (so how did they know prior?)...which is after he showed it to the Dad - none of that maintains the integrity of the case when the Dad can confront her about the footage...which I assume would have been the main point to keep it a secret from the public (not to tip her off to its existence)? I guess I just don't believe they knew in advance, and if they did, I do not understand why the public could not be more helpful to the search WITH this information and not without when LE need to know where SM took Gannon that day. Maybe this is why some media decided after a one day grace period to let this information out to the public (not that they should be calling investigation shots - but it just makes sense and I can't imagine they promised to not release it indefinitely).
What we may not know is did this neighbor turn over his footage on Monday when it was first called in (not likely since the 911 call was later) - did he turn it over Tuesday or Wednesday or NOT AT ALL? Until he was bothered and stayed up to review it himself on this recent Sunday? This is what I’m going with - LE can ask for video but if it isn’t submitted timely or they have thousands of hours to go through (Mollie Tibbetts) it does take time - now regarding the press who leaked it / I have my own thoughts on that

A very sad case. I don't think Gannon is alive.

I wonder if she might've been giving him ethylene glycol (maybe in OJ or tea or something) starting overnight and then again in the morning - especially if he was a little sick with a cold to begin with. This was premeditated (jmo).

At 9:45 or so in the morning, she may have told him that they should go to the ER, and that if he would get his jacket on, she would back the truck up so he wouldn't have to walk far. She probably acted very concerned, telling him he should get in the back seat of the truck where he could lay down.

The stuff she put in the back? My guess is, possibly a weapon (knife, rope, or gun) a tarp, and a shovel. I suspect she had packed this bag the night before - but nearly forgot it after she had gotten him into the truck.

Unfortunately, without a body, all LE can presently prove is that she left with him at 10, and came back without him at 2. That, and the fact that she lied. Very weak circumstantial evidence. LE needs to somehow find out where she went - probably within an hour to an hour and 1/2 drive from the house. Close to somewhere she'd been before. Jmo

Finally able to view video and after Gannon got in back she definitely could have retreived an item from garage. Perhaps the item CSI removed posted upstream.

However the facts remain IF Gannon is not located and/or SOLID FORENSIC evidence obtained a defense attorney can get this video TOSSED very easily. Totally explainable and meaningless in a court of law.

FGS
Kyron disappeared right under everyone's darn nose. If one goes back and reviews his case LE had more than this on ole Terri Horman and we all know how that's turned out.:(

I'll keep praying but any hope for Gannon has virtually vanished just like he has.

MOO
Sigh ...

I saw some people inquiring about what she was carrying to the truck when walking to it out in the street.

I try not to post random speculation/theories as much as possible, but in times when we are anxiously awaiting news, my mind gets away from me.

Is this a hunting bow in the garage? (See attached pic). Because I googled hunting bow bags and it seems to match what she’s carrying pretty well. Obviously, it’s hard to really be able to tell with the quality of video image- lots of possibilities on type of bag she is carrying.)

Wonder if Gannon liked to hunt.

That blue bag on the wall looks exactly like the shape and size she was carrying out to the truck. It also looks like there is a second empty hook next to it. :( She could have used the bag for something else and left the bow on the ground.

Why would the video being easily tossed? If she did not tell LE she took Gannon somewhere that day (or even that she went somewhere that day) - it is very important circumstantial evidence. It is the last time he is seen by anyone that can be verified (assuming the date/time stamps correct). There is zero reason she could have "forgotten" about this trip that ended within a hour of when he went "missing" by her calculation. Moreover, in conjunction with no video of him walking away on anyone's security cameras (assuming they can be shown to pick that up), it is very impressive evidence. How is it meaningless?

FWIW Tom Mustin (Denver 7) took a beating on Twitter for being such a showboater at a missing child’s expense. I’m ok with this.
I’m also ok with this

The sheriff's office in that county is asking people not to speculate on evidence not released by them.
I'm still wondering if the neighbors video's time and date has been verified by them. They haven't said.
I wondered the same thing. It hasn't been verified that they are even the owners of that truck.

It could belong to a neighbor and it could be a different person and a different child getting into the truck.

We might just be speculating about a situation that has nothing to do with the investigation.

That's called thought policing.
We resist.

I’m going to attempt to contact a local reporter and see what the scoop is on the leaking of the video- I’ve had success getting responses before so will see if they are willing to talk about this apparent breach with LE

Ya know as much as I feel like instantly transporting her down to the old chain gang - I freely admit, I’m puzzled as to why I think it’s possible there may be an unknown element yet to be released. imo
I hope so because the thought of someone he trusted/loved, hurt him is absolutely devastating.

The neighbor stated it was SM and Gannon. The father also saw and responded emotionally to the video. MSM is reporting it was SM and Gannon. I don't think it was someone else entirely. Especially since the video is what sparked CSI being there for hours.

I’ve been updating the media thread and haven’t seen anything about the meds - if it were my child IMO I would not allow that information to be released
I agree and I have yet to read it in msm.
HIPPA is a big deal!

eta for clarification: I have read several articles about meds along the timeline but none specifying what type of med or reason for prescription. This the latest out of Colorado:

The sheriff's office said Stauch takes special medication and was last seen wearing a blue jacket and jeans.
Deputies collect evidence from missing boy’s home

friendly little PSA to any folks out there reading here: advising ~ do not violate. imo

Except the neighbor said the dad saw it and cried ?

We are all in here losing our damn minds desperately wanting answers and wanting this little guy found. His parents must be going through hell right now. This whole thing is just so upsetting. There are ao many questions and we are not getting any answers. I am so heartbroken just thinking where he might be and what happened to him.

I drive a larger truck. My wife is short, hates to drive it. Says she can't see. It is almost comical to watch her even try to back it up in the driveway. It would be interesting to know how often she drives the truck. It seems like she made an attempt to back the truck up in a particular spot in the driveway. Almost like if someone, or perhaps the the other children, would notice if the truck was out of place.

There appear to be multiple videos and different camera angles.

Not too bright, maybe?

That may have been her only chance since the younger daughter would have been home by 3:30.

Imo
Well, they’re never that smart, but you don’t even need technology to see it. There she was, right there in the driveway with the boy that made national news shortly after. However, her interview wasn’t exactly a superstar moment either.

Very possible - but I would think if LE was determined to get it (they should be able to tell where the cameras are on the street), they would have kept coming back until they got it...not a week later. Again, they had reason to suspect she might not be entirely truthful - she herself said people were concluding she was changing her story, she claimed mistreatment by LE, etc. Besides phone tracking, online searches, calls/texts, I would think security footage near that home on the same street would be of paramount importance very early on.
