Was she not aware of the cameras? Or did she calculate it wrong? Because having her pulling up so Gannon could get into the car made no sense. And then, parking the car where she did when she returned didn't make much sense either, considering the car wasn't parked like that when she left.

I can't remember if I saw it here or on FB, but someone posted an image of SM's house and showed that SHE has cameras on her house. They speculated she was trying to avoid being caught on her own cameras.

Right? They’ve already been there a few times, and anticipate more. Trying to think of what they’d need to do that would take so much time. Searching each room for evidence?

If that is the case, the family living there all this time could be a real issue, in a court case, I’d imagine.
I’m wondering if the time span is because they need to search and collect things not easily found ? Imo

I keep going back and forth on whether he is alive or not. I guess my hope is still strong. SM interview confuses me. It's either a sick game that she is using Gannon to hurt one or both of his bio parents or she knows he is gone.

Ugh.. my head hurts!
Yes, especially since she emphatically stated, "Gannon is NOT dead," and "I would NEVER hurt that child."

But then again I guess it makes sense considering everything she has said was in order to stall and hinder the investigation, starting with reporting him as a runaway.

Imo

There must be a LOT of potential evidence then.....the third time there, and now saying it will be there the next several days too! What on Earth could have happened to little Gannon :(:(:(

I was thinking evidence of ongoing crimes or looking for subtle cues to build a story. if there were large swaths of an item like blood, it could be easier to work the scene. I think they have interviewed his younger sister and are looking for specific things related to what she has described.

I was not sure why the little sister was in the video released today. I now am surmising that her being front and center is a message to someone that she is comfortable, aware, and able to talk about her brother.

I am stunned at how much time the crime team needs in a house that two siblings were living, and then dad and bio mom were staying at!

Is it normal for a DA to visit a home? Just curious. And i pray LE are watching SM. Im sure they are, maybectbey are speaking with her now, i hope. We don't want her to do anything stupid like Emily Glass. Moo

Maybe something weird had been going on for a long time somewhere in that house.
In Gabriel Fernandez' case (?) I think he was concealed at night and for even longer in a small cupboard.
Restrained and with a sock in his mouth. :(

Wonder if Gannon had been imprisoned at times in his house ?

What’s the latest? Work has kept me away. Was more video footage or info released? All I got was the video of her leaving with Gannon and returning alone.

What did they find in that house that could be related to his disappearance?

So scary.
Plain clothes LE was there and they are staying - camera equipment was seen and Dan May (our guy was Kelseys case) DA - was there for about an hour - no new pressers - LE says don’t listen to rumors and only they have the truth - family left the house - and still no Gannon
IMO

SM's silence right now is deafening.

I can imagine her lawyer probably told her to shut up, and her family too. That could be why her mom stopped interacting with people on social media as she had been

I think you’re safe. I don’t anticipate any further developments tonight.

Tomorrow could be big though, as it appears law enforcement is on the verge of something.

ETA: Unless there is a press conference planned. Anyone know?
I agree. I can imagine LE rushing evidence to the lab and fast-tracking results. We may hear something tomorrow.

I'm about to head out and raid with my Pokemon buddies but I'll be back to check in later. And yes, I'm keeping the inmate roster link handy too!

Her use of the word "that" in relation to him is very concerning. No use of our, his name, or my step-son. That implies a thing, not a human being. So telling.

Cameras on the porch and by the house #

Editing- as some are getting confused- I am referring to the security cameras I had a feeling she was avoiding when backing up to put him in the truck

Great catch! I saw the security company sign on the lawn but I didn't notice cameras.

Does anyone have any information or associated links to determine if AS’s truck was taken into evidence?? Most recent media clip from Fox 21 doesn’t show the family leaving the home in it...however they did mention 2 vehicles being utilized.

Investigation into missing 11-year-old from Fountain area stretches into ninth day

I’ve had a theory about AS’s truck since neighbor DR gave his 1st interview to media with stills in the background.

El Paso County Sheriff’s Office gets new evidence in search for missing 11-year-old boy

I’ve combed through those stills repeatedly. AS’s truck has distinct features; metal studded rims, the shape of head/tail lights, lights at the rear of the cab, tow bar on the front, sagging left rear bumper (see features in clip.). I agree with another poster who mentioned it appears there are 2 vehicles. IMO the drivers are doing the vehicle shuffle, but why so late at night? If TS is guilty of something, she may very well have an accomplice.

Authorities say Gannon Stauch 'missing and endangered' after days gone - KRDO

I’m still very new, please let me know if at any point I am out of line. I’ve been following the case locally (& on WS) since the night GS went missing. I live in a neighboring subdivision just a few miles from GS’s home.

Information is frequently disseminated very quickly between our HOA Fb groups, especially in instances of activity that would be relevant due to our close proximity to one another (ie vehicle/home break ins, theft of property, missing pets etc.) I am not part of the Lorson Ranch Resident page—only my own. I get the impression other pages area flooded with drama & thankfully it’s been quiet on our page. May I post screen shots of the initial posts that were sent out as soon as the event occurred? They are from Monday night, 1/27 into early Tuesday morning 1/28 PRIOR to local news media & EPCSO notifying the public. I find the post from TS to be odd & premature. I would like to hear your opinions. If, of course, I’m allowed to post them. I can forward to a moderator 1st if provided instructions.

Thank you, I really enjoy following all of your comments.

The thought crossed my mind too if he was still in the house. But the only way he could still be is if he was no longer living. And as much as I hate typing this, if he was in there you would be able to smell it. And I think the smell would have started before today. So I am stumped on why they will be there for days longer. Unless he walked to the car himself, while they were out and about is when he was hurt/killed. When she got back and he didn't get out of the car he was in the bed of the truck and at some point that night backed the truck part/all the way in the garage to remove him, took him in the house somewhere to make disposing of him easier. I'm sorry, I just can't type out the word for that. That could account for them coming back so many times. Maybe the got some initial test back that showed blood somewhere that was cleaned, and now they need to do a deep investigation to find what else there might be left behind.

If something like that did happen, that just makes me sick that 1) she would do that and 2) he parents have been staying there. I really hope this isn't the case. I hope he still has a chance to come home and hug his family.

I get that the Sheriff's office is trying to get ahead of rumors with stating the crime scene unit will be there for a few days. I don't understand, however, what could possibly take that long? Think of Kelsey Berreth, the Watts, and Todts - none of those had crime scene units there for more than a day or two - maybe three. They MUST think something happened in that home, MOO, of course.
I think they have to get search warrants as one party is not giving permission to search, and in order to do that they need probable cause.

It may be a good example of perception developing due to preconceived notions. Because I think one of the posters criticizing her demeanor thought she was SM!
.
BBM:

Hahahahahaha. Oh, my gosh.
What is it they say about great minds, again?

@gitana, here's what I said in response to that exact op a little earlier today:

So, this was another prime example of how pre-conceived notions cloud perception.

IIRC, the poster thought that it was SM with BD in the press conference video.

Hence, what the poster "saw" from who she thought at the time was SM, were crocodile tears.

Once it was explained that it was BM, not SM, in that presser, the poster backed away from that characterization.

We all do it.

Our brains take in sensory stimuli and interpret it based on its context.

We look for it, we see it.

Seek, and ye shall find.

I can't fathom the need for days at the house, and I don't remember seeing this before. It's a newer house, and not a lot to go through.

I tend to think the wording was meant to ramp up pressure on someone, someone that may hope LE misses something.
I agree - days in the house, after two trips and a lot of items already having been removed - what else is left? Is it still likely that SM left the house with Gannon (alive) but didn’t come back home with him? If that’s the case, I just can’t imagine what they are looking for that will take several days to find. I know some people have wondered if there was more on the neighbor’s video footage than we know about, but based on the neighbor going to BD before he even called the police, I feel like BD saw what we saw. I wanted to believe the release was strategic, but I think it occurred exactly how LE described - against their wishes. It definitely shifted the focus, but there is still nothing definitive enough for an arrest or even naming a POI.

Well that would require (I think) both daughters somehow knowing ? It’s not that big of a house IMO

I think she would have had Gannon get in on the passenger side if this was the case. It seems like he would've been in clear view of the camera on the porch post.

I wonder if her cameras worked, she turned them off, she erased the footage, or she refused to show the footagd to LE?
