I also agree that there will be some drain testing and plumbing examination going on by the CSI, which could explain the time it will take in the house.

This case has really gotten to me. But I do think this case will have a conclusion unlike some others. LE seem to be doing a lot of work.

I was wondering about the rental situation as well. It is possibly in the owner's name? Not sure.

But we live here in the Springs as well, and many of us have Ring systems. We get updates daily from people that have seen people trying to break into cars, lost dogs/cats, as well as wildlife like bears, coyotes, bobcats, etc. Not sure about other areas, but so many of us here have the systems.

Blended families can be tough. Some can have great relationships with the various families and others struggle. If bio dad was gone alot for his service then i can see how a child like Gannon can struggle if the step parent shows uneasy feelings towards the child. Perhaps there was issues in the marriage and G was the reciepant of anger when dad was gone. JMO

Agreed. IMO there are crap step parents and fabulous step parents and I've seen both in my own family. I think a key to success is making the kids the priority. In cases here we see instances where the kids are forgotten when two people fall for each other and jump into a relationship. A family is more than two partners. MOO.

We don't know the circumstances in Gannon's family but it heartens me that his bio mom and dad have come together for him. LS almost seems like a third wheel right now and IMO if that's true then it's her own doing. She doesn't have to be besties with bio mom but for crying out loud it's not about her right now and slamming LH in msm interviews does *nothing* to find Gannon.

I'm pretty sure we all suspect why LS lashed out against the bio mom and social media but made little mention of Gannon - if he's cold, hungry, scared, etc. IMO based on current information it's because she knows he's beyond feeling earthly pain. All MOO.

It's info I read on here that was gleaned from Step Mom's interview and since been clarified further in other ways (MSM etc.) . The custody apparently change hand 2 years ago.

Mom and dad have shared custody but we don't know the specifics about visitation or what was arranged.

I don't think the stepmom has any legal custody.

I didn’t miss it. I don’t have children, and that child looks like she could be 4-6 years old. Some kids start earlier, some start later. I wasn’t sure if her age had been clarified here.

So the question is what went on in that house and does LE know now? My guess is yes and that’s why we have CSI onsite for days

So LE knows that any potential evidence in that house is potentially going to be lost, degraded, flushed, etc. over time (especially with people living there). Right now, they don't know what they're dealing with / going to be dealing with when they (hopefully) find Gannon. So they decided to collect as much POTENTIAL evidence as they can now, in hopes that it will be useful in the future.

I really don't know if this is plausible, or if LE would ever go to this extreme. Just a thought i had.

Plain clothes LE was there and they are staying - camera equipment was seen and Dan May (our guy was Kelseys case) DA - was there for about an hour - no new pressers - LE says don’t listen to rumors and only they have the truth - family left the house - and still no Gannon

Any chance the first media outlet who posted this mistakenly wrote “days” instead of “hours” and the other outlets took the same info and it grew legs?
