I just watched the SM interview again. IMOO, she sounds so believable up until the hike questions start and she gets her daughter in it. That's when she starts talking a little less smoothly and such and nervous. I really do believe her, strangely, that she didn't hurt him and loved him and those nice things she said about him. But then the daughter/when was he last seen at home/hike/Burger King discussion is when things start to sound really suspicious and weird. I think she knows more than she is saying, but it just baffles me as to WHAT happened.

Weirdest is the "when you get here" - I suspect there was a runaway situation and yet she is culpable somehow too???
Yet she did not say those nice things about Gannon until she was asked by the reporter to tell us about Gannon and that's when she switched to past tense.

She never said a word about him other than to defend herself until she was promoted by the reporter.

Very early on investigators stated they did not believe he ran away. I do believe she is culpable, but not because he ran away.

Imo

I'm not sure what wood hope blocks are but maybe the community is trying to raise some money to help the family? Nothing wrong with that. Imo

I think they might be counting daughters wrong in this article; I think that LH and her current husband MH actually have just one very young daughter together, and that her second daughter is the same one she shares with AS. I'll see if I can find something in MSM.

I was wondering, too. I'm a little unclear what Heavy.com is. Is it some kind of privately held pop culture news blog aggregate, or is it generally regarded as MSM?
(I've hesitated to quote from there, because I can't quite figure out where it falls.)

Not bad. Better than Daily Mail, but MSM stuff is often not factual either.

It’s a an aggregate, as they compile reporting from other outlets.

They pretty much do the same thing as the Daily Mail does, with the exception of the spelling and grammatical errors.

I had never heard if it until I started following cases here so it must be considered MSM.
Maybe just not so reliable, or it's a gossip and entertainment site like the Daily Mail. Jmo

Mine too, she was crying so hard she could barely walk.

Hearing the description of her current state shattered my heart in a million pieces. I cannot even begin to imagine her pain. I can’t stop hugging my little boy so tight. My eyes and arms and heart cannot soak in enough of him to satiate the fear and sorrow I feel because of all this mom is going through right now.

Yes, it says she and her husband Mike have two young daughters. Jmo

Thank you! I totally misseed that. So she has two kids with Gannon's dad who don't live with her at all (at least for two years'ish), but has two younger childlren with a second husband and they all live together in SC. Those kids must be pretty young if the bio daughter with Gannon's dad is only eight.

From the article quoted;

Landen Bullard Hiott, 34, Aynor, South Carolina, and is a health and PE teacher there. She graduated from Green Sea Floyds High School in South Carolina and studied at Coastal Carolina University and Coker College. She and her husband, Mike Hiott, have two young daughters

Thanks for the clarity, everyone.

I think your first description fits. At any rate, I believe they barely skimmed the source FB material and did not dig deeper into which degrees LS was claiming and from where.

If it is MSM, it's not doing a very good job.

Those hope blocks are very tastefully done. I'm touched that someone took the time to do this to raise money for Gannon's family.

It is good and it is healthy that she is able to express her grief. Perhaps for the first time.
Her pain is real, IMO.
It suggests the possibility that no further hope exists that he will be found alive.
Up to now , I reckon most of us have tried to keep a window of hope open somewhere in our psyches because she said so.
I am daily and hourly amazed at the beauty that seems to shine through the soul of this child in all the images we have seen.

I don't even know where to begin to process a description of a force that felt the need to destroy such beauty.
I just can't!

Well, someone pointed out that one of the daughters could be the daughter she shares with AS and it might be the reporting isn't accurate.

Or it could be that her husband also has a daughter from another marriage.

I'm just glad she found someone after her divorce and she can lean on her family. Jmo

He may have had a hard time going. Justice ganon's mother had a hard time staying. He may have wanted to stay home with his daughter, or the little girl could ask your daddy to stay with her.

Makes me wonder what all they have found on that video, and if other videos have came forward. Praying for Gannon but this really doesn't look good.

I don't think so. She gave us the information herself about giving up her certification because of a contract issue and I think there was a discussion here about a job in Colorado but I'm not sure what the source was or if it was removed. Jmo
She is stretching the story quite a bit there. She didn't "give up" her teaching license, it was suspended. The reason will become clearer as we are able to divulge more about her.
