Question: is there any verified proof that Gannon’s bio mom is now permanently residing in house with bio dad, or are we all just believing this based on stepmom’s interview and/or social media? Because everyone is stating it as fact.
IMO we really have no clue of living arrangements.
Very true.

However, where else would she stay? She isn't from the area so likely doesn't know anyone and they are not people of means, so a hotel would might be out of reach (idk). And I"m sure she'd like to be with her young daughter. To me, it makes sense she is at the house....but, you're right, we are taking SM's word for it.

BBM:

The overwhelming odds here are that she took him somewhere familiar to her.

There's no way a person in that situation would just blindly drive around hoping to come across a remote location.

Familiarity with the environment increases one's sense of control.

She will have chosen a locale which she knew from past experience would be largely isolated.

When she pulled out of that driveway, she had a destination in mind.

She wasn't taking him out for a joyride.

ITA - as we have seen in other cases, it's very likely that we draw a circle around the house and go out 60 miles - he's there somewhere (and I still am feeling water) - normally I go out 20 miles but with the 4 hour timeframe I am thinking it is possible it's further out than normal

I always look forward to your thoughts on a case. Glad you're here. :)

Gannon's clothing: the video is very difficult to make out but to me it appears he's wearing a royal blue top (shirt/hoody/jacket) and the kind of sweats like these Adidas striped sweats. adidas Boys Trefoil Black Sweatpants | Zumiez. It's possible it's just a trick of the light or pixelation/artifacts, but it does appear there's a white stripe down the leg, like these sweats. Although this is not what he was reported to be wearing last.

Stepmom's statements: Until yesterday she was very very active on SM, but she has not made any kind of published, MSM statement about the video that contradicts her timeline of events.

I do think Gannon will be found. I think the person responsible for his disappearance is a self-centered narcissist who believes themselves to be the smartest person in the room, and yet, is actually rather stupid.

Thank you. It's great to see you here too, and all who are here who care about Gannon.

What I have noticed over the years while following cases like Gannon's is if there is parental involvement the guilty tend to place blame on their missing child for their own disappearance or even for their own deaths.

That is certainly a trait of a narcissist who never places blame on themselves. They also believe everyone will be gullible enough to actually believe their pathological lies....even if they are not consistent nor line up with the evidence LE uncovers.

Imo, no one is believing her runaway claim including LE most of all. Btw, what excuse did she give for Gannon running away on her watch? TIA.

Thank you so much OM for replying, and providing information.

Time has not allowed me to keep up with his case as closely as I would like so I appreciate you taking your time to reply updating what I have missed.

I pray you will be correct that Gannon will be found. I just hesitate, and have concerns because there are so many missing children who've never been located either.

Either way, I think it's only a matter of time that serious charges will be forthcoming.

DAs are no longer waiting years to bring justice to missing victims.

If anyone's interested, here's a map of the Colorado Springs Water Supply System.

So, the area around Lorson Ranch includes an awful lot of...empty land. Does anyone who is local know whether they are searching in the actual subdivision area (and nearby inhabited streets)? Or is this more out in the undeveloped area?

Friday, LE said they had small teams going door to door in Lorson Ranch.

Waiting is so hard.

@Ontario Mom, I totally agree with your assessment of LS's state of mind and @Tippy Lynn, that's a great map - thank you!

Good Morning! Here is my daily hope that today is the day Gannon is found, or an arrest is made!!! And today I have a lot of home one or the other will happen.

Yes I had a full comment deleted last night, we’ve got the mods working overtime! MODS YOURE THE BEST!!! Sorry we’re a mess lol
It is so hard NOT being a mess when such a sh*t. show like yesterday happens. But, yes, I am also so thankful for @vox and threatening to pull the car over. Hopefully today we will get some FACTS about the case from LE or MSM so some of the wild rumors can somewhat be put to rest!

Now off to my daily game of catch up!

Do you know that they are both (LS and TM) from Horry County in South Carolina?

Gave me the chills.
I know right. Geepers Creepers!!!

BBM:

I don't for one moment believe that her staying there is a permanent arrangement.

Far from it, in fact.

MSM articles have stated LH is remarried and she and her husband have 2 young daughters.

I think if LH is in fact staying at AS's house right now, it's temporary and borne out of the desire to be there for her daughter, GS's sister, and also to be there for Gannon, should he come home.

It would not surprise me if LH were sleeping in GS's room to feel closer to him, and to be surrounded by sensory reminders of him.

Running Away (for Kids) - Nemours KidsHealth
1 in 7 kids between the ages of 10 and 18 will run away at some point.

In fact, most kids run away due to problems with their families. Some kids run away because of one terrible argument. Some even decide to leave without ever having a fight. They might have done something they're ashamed of, and they're afraid to tell their parents.

Runaways

I hope Gannon did run away, even though LE does not seem to think that. I was looking for a statistic on the average time a child runs away but only found after 2 days its automatically upgraded to missing or endangered person.

I would love to hear he is hiding at a friends house and their scared to get in trouble, but there aren’t many kids that can keep this a secret 14 days.

Still hoping.

60 miles is a HUGE search area!
I'd await as many details as possible re -route that vehicle took that day.. Could be she stopped in town for an hour, had coffee, whatever.. I'm feeling water less than dropped from a height, rocky terrain, but that's probably 'cos they were so familiar as a family with rocky terrains. they seemed to have done a lot of these hikes so would have been very familiar with various terrains..
If we could somehow figure which were only accessible to her vehicle and dangerous 'enough',it might give us a sense of where she went with him?
It would be almost impossible for a lay person to figure this out but LE could get this info in a day or so, I reckon.
They probably do have it.
It didn't pan out 'cos Gannon was not found.
By now they know everything they need to know about everything except Gannon's location or state.
It's most egregious of her to start a rumor he is alive and well when she's not prepared to produce proof of life, getting peoples' hearts and hopes up if she knows the situation to be otherwise.

early on somebody was doing drone searching of these areas and they came up empty.

Except in this case we know that Gannon didn't runaway. He left with TS and never returned.

My initial thought was water too. It just seems like the preferred choice for a woman/mom/stepmom to make. Leaving in water seems physically as well as emotionally "easier" I think.

But after getting to know her, I can envision her rolling him down a hill into wilderness or simply leaving him. She's incredibly cold.

I believe I read somewhere a dog found Gannon's scent.Does anyone know where that was?

Just an observation.

I have watched the video of Gannon getting into the truck a million times now and something about it bothered me and it finally hit me. I wasn't sure if Gannon was ill or hurt and then it hit me.

He seems hesitant. He's off balance (not physically). Almost wary, worried.

I know this is a stretch but that was the first thing that came to mind. I get that you can't see much but my sense was that he was hesitant to get in the truck.

MOO

Been lurking here, and JMO, but if he's hurt my guess would be dislocated right shoulder. Truck looks raised, door is wide open, so maybe he couldn't figure out how to climb in without use of his right arm. She seems to squat down and lift him up around the hips/waist whereas most people would just pick an 11 year old up under the armpits if lifting into a truck seat like that.

Alternatively (maybe more cynical), maybe his arms were restrained under the coat. Again would explain the squat and lift.

Yes me too.
Stuck his thunb out and ride. Not going back.
Due to the lie about the one way trip he took with her I don't think that is the case.
I would love to be wrong.
