For those of you who follow this case on social media, have there been any prior references on those sites (prior to this most recent statement from the stepmom) about a cut foot or blood in the garage or on the truck?

No

None that I have seen and I'm in all the groups including the support Tee one.

So she either beat the crap out of him and/or injured him in some way and possibly threatened to kill him and he ran away. (I mean he's not gonna run away because he accidentally hurt himself, right?) Or she beat the crap out him and told him she would take him to the hospital but did something else to cover up what she'd done. Maybe he stood up to her and said he would tell his parents/the police about her abuse. IME a lot of kids will suffer through beatings and feel its somewhat normal, but they'd know being slashed with a weapon is too far and would run to find another adult. I think he was threatening to run away away from her and that's why she is going with that story even though she knows exactly what happened to him. In her mind that could have been what happened, and he had every reason to.

Btw do we know when that car selfie was taken? The one of Gannon, TS and the little girl on the missing poster.

No possible way to read the 20+ pages to catch up, so just wondering, besides her utterly full of doodoo statement this morning making an effort to shift blame & explain away blood evidence, is there anything else new today?
IKR people are posting faster than I can read.

I've been skimming because the nature of TS is such that I just can't handle it (from having my own experience with a family member that was very similar).

But the level of delusion that one can tell one story and like a black widow turn and spin that story into something else over and over is absolutely astounding. She genuinely believes that people will believe her !!!

Day 16 and *now* you have a description of the person that Gannon left with when you previously didn't know what friend he was going to see because he asked dad?
:eek::eek::eek:
No. Just no.

Two (of so many) questions that are stuck in my head:

She says "leaked video"... Jmo but if my kid was missing I suspect I'd refer to it as video...I feel as if she was surprised by the video?

Also, I only read the statement here, did she actually refer to him as G? He has a name, she's reducing him to a letter?!

Ugh. So much UGH.
Funny my narcissist ex called me “M” and she calls herself “Tee”. Not surprised if “G” was all she could muster.

Not that I have seen. But, I think it makes sense that LE was asking about earlier video if she had told them of this event.

Did Gannon Stauch have his cell phone with him when he went missing? I thought I had read somewhere online, in the reporting of this case, that GS had left his cell phone behind, at his home. Anyway, the only references to his cell phone I have seen more recently are about his fondness of taking selfies to send his father, Albert Stauch this mentioned in the most recent statement of GS' stepmother, Letecia Stauch, as well that much-mentioned quote by GS of his question about whether his parents could track him if his cell phone was turned off. Also, has it ever been disclosed to whom GS sent that message with the question about the ability to be tracked if a cell phone is turned off?

Random thought and I apologize if someone has already mentioned it...
Remember when Sneha Phillips disappeared on September 11th?
A mother named Michelle Harris was in the middle of a nasty divorce and she disappeared the evening of September 11th.
Did perps take advantage of a wide spread news event that they knew would divert attention from an otherwise newsworthy disappearance.
What happened the day before Gannon disappeared? A wide-spread news story.

Edited: Weird autocorrect :)

It only leads to more questions though. So you took a selfie.... so you had your phone with you in the truck. But the pings do not indicate you driving around. Oh - I left my phone at home and turned it off. Why? Her response just yields to more questions. Dear TS - don't equate LE quietness with stupidity.

That's a good catch. So, she claims she had her phone with her. That's either a slip-up or it's true. If true, then she likely did leave her phone somewhere after she drove away (I'm guessing). Otherwise, LE would have a much narrower view of where to search

HOWEVER, let's say she left her phone on most of the time. It would probably show her driving all over Colorado Springs, stopping many times, mostly at stores.

Of course, we haven't seen that selfie (why doesn't she release it since she's so interested in doing her own PR?)

It needs metadata for the police to believe her.

This case is unique (to me) in its amazing, constant use of social media by a person who is clearly a POI, even if not yet named by LE. LS herself keeps us thinking of her as a POI, through her constant inconsistencies and lies in SM.

I think there's a real possibility she didn't harm him or directly cause his disappearance at all, but is very narcissistic and trying to cover for something else that could embarrass her or expose her to criminal liability - something like an affair or drug use.

BBM:

I don't believe that for one nanosecond.

That theory doesn't make sense to me.

One does not put themselves under direct suspicion of having disappeared a child in order to mask an affair.

For one thing, affairs aren't illegal.

Hurting children is.

What you've just described would be the equivalent of chopping off a foot in order to hide an unsightly bunion.

JMO.

Not really - we are all just evaluating her statement looking for the hidden/double meanings IMO.

Where is Gannon?

  • #1,452
I don't believe she had her phone with her. I just rewatched the video. After Gannon gets in the truck, LS gets in the truck, (perhaps this is when she takes the selfi). Then she gets back out of the truck ( roughly at the 1:58 mark). She walks towards the back of the truck and is now out of view. Perhaps she is putting her phone back in the garage or house at this time?

Good catch.

She didn't say she put him on a truck or tailgate, she said car. I wondering if this is why the police wanted the keys to the car when they were at Marshall's.
Bingo. And not just the car, the EDGE of the car. A truck tailgate, sure, but that's not what she said. Why in the world would anyone sit on the edge of a car? And since they wouldn't, I think we can all think of more believable reasons someone's blood would be found on the edge of a car. :(

She probably called him G, because she learned it here.

We have some new members...

She gets in the truck after Gannon gets in back seat but then gets out again and heads toward the house. And then comes back and gets in the truck yet again,.
That paints a very distressing tale. Poor Gannon. Cold hearted SM. :(

That's a really good point. It was the day after Bryant died. (I've only been following this last week)

Wonder if she made him sleep in the garage Sunday night (maybe even Saturday night too). Maybe there is video of him running around through gate in attempt to try and get in back door. The carpet thing...wonder if she said 'that's it, I'm done with you...you are out'. And shoved him in the garage and told him to stay in there. Then Monday she decided to get him really OUT of her life.

Also, the hike on Sunday...do we know GS went in car? Do we know they did go on hike? Maybe she was attempting to get him out of her life that day but just couldn't do it. Or step sister intervened and brought him home. LE really needs to get that step sister in and talking.

Thanks to online sleuths, I believe we do know the answer to whether he was at GoG on Sunday. That's a yes. While LS clearly included some previous photos as proof they were there, she did indeed take a selfie up there (the one that's on her Missing Poster) because there's a man in the background. Sleuths (I believe they are here on this thread) found photos of the same man on Instagram (along with his photos of GoG) and he was able to find a picture that had Gannon in the picture! The Instagram clues were passed on to LE. I think MSM has therefore presented that picture as truthfully at GoG on Sunday, with good reason.

Pure defeat and pure terror IMO

Others have already said this, but I’m guessing all that gate talk was to explain why he wasn’t seen on security footage leaving front door for the ever-changing friend’s house/runway/abduction stories. There might not be any blood on gate; she might just want to let us know there’s another exit he used oh-so-conveniently off-camera.
Agreed! If there is no blood on that gate then YES it was written by her to explain why he wasn’t seen on security footage leaving front door.

If he stayed off school because he wasn't feeling well, why is she dragging him out shopping? It's not like buying dog collars couldn't wait. If I had a sick child at home and there was some grocery item I just had to have, I'd run out and back in 20 minutes to buy it, not spend 4hrs in the car with the child.

"I encourage the Sheriff’s Office to take down those pages that promote negative behavior and violence. Let’s Do what Gannon would do. Be Kind to one another!"

Also, what the heck does this mean?
Don't look behind the curtain.
