That's right, folks! Some of these people are giving Colorado a bad name.
Dang it. Most of us can speak in complete sentences with decent grammar. And we don't sound like THAT.
At least the babysitter doesn't live in Colorado anymore

The video where LE tried to close the garage door was right when a lady reporter was taping. You can get a decent look inside the garage. Looks like you can fit a car on the far side (black suv side) of the garageVery early in the case, there was a really clear shot of the inside of the Stauch family's garage. It was pretty crammed full of stuff, and there were some boards on the floor, but for the life of me I can't seem to find that pic. Anyone remember that?

well I already posted earlier that he could have been in sneakers without socks, or flip flops, sandals, whatever. I broke my "foot" in highschool, by slipping on wet leaves on the sidewalk with socks and shoes on, One of those small bones on the top of the foot near the base of my toes. He could have scraped against a lawn mower blade, a shovel edge, it didn'T have to be a penetrating wound from below. Just that she didn't say he was barefoot, and if it was a scrape on the ankle it wouldn't have precluded a hike the next day.Correct. But how would he cut his foot otherwise? Even if he was wearing sneakers, it would have to be a heck of a tool to cut through to his foot. I've dropped chef knives on my feet and they just bounce off of slippers, sneakers, etc. The kind of person TS seems to be, she would more likely complain that she had to sell Gannon's bed or something to pay for the damage to his father's tool. I find this totally unbelievable.
Agree, but why did she want to establish he "kept" doing it (ETA: "kept" going over to check if the gate was locked)? I would think one trip after the foot was injured would be enough to explain blood, and would sound less weird. I'm probably giving her more credit that she deserves for knowing what sounds bizarre, but I still wonder what point she thought she was making.I think she's saying it happened after he cut his foot, so then there may be blood in that area as well.
Hmm interesting. It's pretty far north west of where they've been. I wonder what is taking them there? The Sheriff's Office continues its search to find Gannon. One of the search areas includes areas in Northern El Paso County/ Southern Douglas County. More information will be released as the investigation allows.

Bet you are right. Her duty was done when she called 911 and reported Gannon as 'missing' and according to law enforcement, it was reported as a 'runaway'. She is making up stories and explanations as the story unfolds. Not helpful at all! How does this help find him?? Again, it is all about defending her own you know what. JMOAnd even if there were tools laying around, her statement is full of indicators of deception.
When she talks about the hike, she says “cleared.” It’s short and sweet, because it happened.
When she talks about the foot injury, it’s full of extraneous information (where he sat, what he likes to do in the garage etc). She’s accounting for evidence that law enforcement found, and trying to be as convincing as possible.
Her story is evolving, and becoming more detailed.
This reminds me of a case years ago, where a man claimed his wife was killed and he was injured, in a home invasion. As time went along, his story became more and more intricate.
Ultimately, he had the audacity to write his local newspaper, in which he revealed insane and unbelievable details that he hadn’t told police.
It was all downhill from there.
I’m willing to bet that the foot injury story wasn’t initially told to law enforcement...
“First and foremost, I would like to thank all agencies, volunteers, and community members who are working diligently and praying endlessly to bring Gannon home safe. Thank you to my husband who has stayed strong through this and protected our family to the best of his ability and our immediate & extended family members throughout the east coast. To Gannon, please come home soon because your daddy is waiting to watch the new Sonic movie that comes out this week and the cool shirt I got you to wear to the theatre is in your closet.
Social Media has been devastating from the harsh comments, speculations, threats, cyber bullying, etc. It has been a challenge when people are trying to run you off the road, waiting outside your hotel, threatening to kill you, etc. I encourage the Sheriff’s Office to take down those pages that promote negative behavior and violence. Let’s Do what Gannon would do. Be Kind to one another!
We all have engaged in something crazy online at some point but Gannon would want everyone to get along and to focus on finding him.
I know that many people have kids and are invested in this because it hits close to home for them. I would like to think that overall most people are genuine and want to do everything in their power to find G. With that being sad, Please take a step back for a moment and let me explain to you a few details that were not released. For example, just like the video that was leaked, there are additional details that were hidden due to 1) the department doing its job 2) the effects of social media and how some individuals would criticize or hinder the investigation. I chose to listen, I didn’t leak videos or information. But at this time it’s getting later in the process and we just want Gannon home. I feel the need to fill in some gaps. Now let me stress this, POLICE have known this since the first interview.
Saturday Night, G was helping me unload in the garage and cut his foot because there are a lot of tools because Albert does woodworking.
He sat on the edge of the car and we bandaged it up. He was good to go. He always loves helping his dad in the garage build things like his LEGO tables and the flower pot they built for me as a gift. After this, I noticed G kept going to the side of the house.
He told me he was checking to see if the gate was locked because he was the only one with a gate key. It made him proud to be the man of the house while Albert was away. Fast forward, we did a hike on Sunday (cleared), and shopping on Monday ( cleared as well for him getting out of the other side). Please don’t think for a second that there isn’t enough of technology to determine shadows and movement around the truck. There was also proof from my phone that we had taken a selfie in the truck in our driveway that was time stamped. We always send pictures to Albert when we are out and about or when he is away. That can be scanned for actual time verification. Last, from day one the Sheriff’s office has known a description of the person/friend whom Gannon left with.
I explained to them and provided evidence. They had information about G having the key to go out the side gate. Last they have more in-depth details that go along with this pointing to who sent the person or why he may have come. Again, I repeat they have had this Initially and I was asked to keep quiet about it so they could have the best shot at doing their job and bringing G home. The last thing that they needed was a hindrance to their investigation. I encourage you to think of any suspicious cars that may have been in the area watching a few days prior and keep praying for G!

Someone may have already posted this. If so, sorry to duplicate. Fox 31 Denver Stepmother statement 2-11
Agree, but if she called the nurse line or the doctor about the issue (not saying she did; it hasn't been established as fact and neither has the constipation in the first place), I bet any medical professional she spoke to would have mentioned diet as a place to start in treating it.Not everyone is an expert on what to eat or not eat if constipated. JMO
But these are people who are not actually FROM COSome of these people are giving Colorado a bad name.

None of that has been established as fact, but it hypothetically could be as simple as she had the door closed or was wearing headphones and facing the wall when he left.Does the basement have a door to the garage, then another side door from garage to where the gate would be?
Or would one have to leave the basement via the first floor then exit?
Do we know "officially" if Gannon's bedroom was downstairs?
If so, why would he and SM not have seen each other prior to his leaving between 3:15 and 4? That is if she was working out in the basement.
Why so far north now?The Sheriff's Office continues its search to find Gannon. One of the search areas includes areas in Northern El Paso County/ Southern Douglas County. More information will be released as the investigation allows.

Wow, very interesting thought!!Just thinking... when Gannon was walking out to the red truck in the video from Monday, he was described as hunching over, walking slowly, taking a long pause before getting in, and not closing the door behind him. This is exactly how my son would act if I was taking him shopping and he was completely distracted with a handheld game, such as his Nintendo Switch. It’s too hard to make much out from the video, but I’m going to keep this in my mind because I like it much better than agonizing pain or paralyzing fear causing him to act that way. Based on AS reaction to the video, I still think she was being deceitful about the timeline that day.
Maybe to justify the amount of blood there? He only cut his foot but he went back and forth and therefore there's a lot more blood there than you would expectAgree, but why did she want to establish he "kept" doing it? But I really was at the library. I swear!Every single one of us here was a teenager once upon a time. Thus, nearly all of us have experience trying to concoct a story, in a panic, to fit the evidence in front of our parents. And we had the false hope/denial that our parents bought our ridiculous tales. That's what I see here. She's in panic mode.
I dunno. She closed her statement by talking about suspicious vehicles.I could be wrong, but I took that part as one way for her to convince the public that Gannon intended to run away.
And even if there were tools laying around, her statement is full of indicators of deception.
