Will Eguardo make an appearance in the new trial? Seriously, what exactly will change this time? The facts are still the facts, the evidence stays strong. IMO I understand what overturned the verdict but nothing else changes. What a waste. Letecia continues to make it all about herself. JMO
It's frustrating because it really made no difference, not even a tiny bit of difference, that the juror had a relative in the DA's office.

It wasn't like it was a close case with a 50/50 chance of acquittal. Even if a juror had a son-in-law working in the public defenders office, it wouldn't have mattered one bit. The facts were so damaging to this vile defendant's case.

It's devastating that Gannon's loved ones have to do this all over again. I feel so sorry for the 2 sister's - bio and step. :( :(

It's horrifiying that Gannon's family needs to go through all of this again.

To arrive at the same verdict.

Brand new trial, brand new defense. Except she still has no defense.

Advantage goes to her because the Defense knows their previous attempt with DID was an absolute fail.

And now they're suggesting they're going to try to float a new defense -- some kind of Not Guilty By Reason of Really Really Really Bad BPD.

NO. JUST NO.

How about GUILTY by reason of the same.

She's a drama maker, gaslighter, star of her own narratives.

Thankfully this is an uphill battle because the Defense IMO would first have to prove that BPD is a mental illness (when iiuc is classified as a personality disorder) and that it even qualifies for insanity.

She knows right from wrong, she's historically competent in what I'll say is the legal sense. Graduated with degrees, had a driver's license and could follow complex driving laws, had a child, managed pregnancy and delivery. Long history of functioning in society.

Being outrageous isn't a defense.

If you have Paramount Plus, I just discovered there’s an episode of FBI True about Gannon’s story.

I haven’t watched it yet.

Man, she's frightening.

[Video is short. Trailer, featuring three cases.]
