Good morning, y'all. Much needed break from trial today. Have a joyful day.
Reposting Mr. Black's tweet.

Reposting Mr. Black's tweet.
I think I do remember her giving that reason to a reporter or maybe she posted it on FB or something. But Al testified that the reason she gave him was that she knew they’d be out looking for Gannon and she didn’t want to rack up the mileage on her leased vehicle. So she said she left it parked at the school where she worked and had another teacher drop her off at the car rental place.I am pretty sure she rented a car and used it to pick up Al at the airport. She gave him some kind of excuse, but I don't remember what the excuse was.
But IIRC, she told him her car was parked at the school, but he went and looked for it and didn't see it so he called LE to report her lie.
ETA: IIRC, I think she said she rented the car because she wanted to drive around and look for Gannon and she didn't want him to recognise the car or he'd run off.
When did Al get full custody of the children ? I imagine that’s when her anger grew, she didn’t want to raise his children.
Think I found it!short article on Day 3 - but still trying to find the major crimes detective who processed the evidence - ?? Anyone? Unfortunately this article doesn't give ANY names...

Day 3 of Letecia Stauch trial: Man who says he found Gannon’s remains testifies
Five witnesses, photos, and videos, were part of the evidence presented in the third day of the trial for a Colorado Springs area woman accused of killing her stepson.www.kktv.com
Those 12 hours, which was likely 6 or 8, the kids would have been asleep. His moms flight was late in the evening. Were the kids supposed to be up at late night to see their dad? Come on.snipped for focus.
Yes I am aware of the time frames and the justifications that we were supplied.
A happily married man( having spent the weekend already at work) would have rang that nights neck.
Knowing he was going to be away from them so long.
Any opportunity to be together. He is a big strong tough man.....a 2 hour drive early in the morning is a nothing burger.
Military are trained to do sleep deprivation and toughing things out.
Taking the wife and the kids on a big drive together to wave grandma off at least to have that time.
Some macdonalds on the road and listening to favoutite music maybe playing I spy. etc.
You say 4 hours wasted I see 12 hours he could have spent with his family....
I do feel it affected T badly.
I am sure he beats himself up about all this......constantly :-(

Thank you, I was sure how or why that went down. And in hindsight, it was a mistake on Al's part.
But, if I remember correctly, LS encouraged him to try and get custody away from Landon. That might have been just to upset Landon. Correct me if I have that wrong.
With Al's line of work, he didn't have the opportunity to come home to his family every day of the week. He had to depend on someone else to care for the kids--for extended periods at times.
He probably fell for LS's assurances at first that she'd take up the stepmother role with honesty, compassion, and love. Realistically, it was perhaps more about LS wanting the security of Al's paycheck for her and Harley.
With Landon having problems and her new husband being less-than-desirable, Al was between a rock and a hard place. He was the only one in Gannon's and Laina's lives who was stable. He didn't have a lot of good decisions to choose from. LS took advantage of that.
Yes, this! She only thought of herself. Thought no one else would think anything about Gannon and that he didn't matter. Thought that AS would support her and that she was number one and no one would notice. She's in control and she mattered only. All about her. She's not insane. Knew exactly what she was doing, it's called premeditation. Boy, was she wrong! Gannon matters, she does not.And the answer is to leave. Not kill a child.
I think it just depends. First, it appears we do not know what kind of vehicle AS and his mother took to the airport. I cannot find any info on that but it obviously was not AS's truck. I seem to remember they drove in a car AS's mother had rented but without a link that's speculation. But if that's true, it's perfectly possiblesnipped for focus.

Agree, it does not read well. imo. Probably in a hurry. I can relate!I don't read that as the Switch being found in the trash. It's a list:
So, the detective identified:
1. Scrub brushes in the dishwasher.
2. An empty vinegar bottle found in the trashcan.
3. Buckle swabs.
4. Nintendo switch.
5. Etc.
IMO. (I did not listen to or watch the coverage. I am basing my post on how the tweet is written.)
You rule!!! I’ve been hunting all morning and was so proud of myself for finding this. Lol! You beat me to it, though so I’m gonna go delete my super long post. HahaThink I found it!

Try YouTube (link below) had no issue. Were you @their site? mooLooks like Law and Crime is charging now to watch this trial?
What channel is the best to watch this on that doesn't require payment?
As far as I can tell, from that wording, the vinegar bottle was in the trash.Like many here, thought the Nintendo switch was lost, but it was found in the trash can. Was there more than one switch?
Figures "she" would throw that away. moo
Yes, trial begins @9:00 am MT.Is court happening tomorrow? It's Good Friday so I just assumed not....
Good Friday isn't a federal holiday in the US. I've been in Canada 25 years and Easter weekend here still confuses me with what's open, what isn't, which days, etc.Is court happening tomorrow? It's Good Friday so I just assumed not....
Obviously, AS is not on trial here and is a victim of LS but I vaguely recall the itinerary of AS's flight to OKC departing being much later the day after his mother's flight.I think it just depends. First, it appears we do not know what kind of vehicle AS and his mother took to the airport. I cannot find any info on that but it obviously was not AS's truck. I seem to remember they drove in a car AS's mother had rented but without a link that's speculation. But if that's true, it's perfectly possible
1) his mom might have arrived in the daytime and felt comfortable driving a rental then but wouldn't have wanted to drive back to the Denver airport by herself at night in January. If AS rode with her, he couldn't come back home without renting a car. He also couldn't take the kids to wave goodbye to grandma.
2) Depending on how late the flight was, it may not have made sense to take the kids to the airport no matter how well AS & LS had been getting along.
3) Now that only ticket holders can go beyond security, waving goodbye at the airport isn't what it used to be.
4) It's possible a car was rented just for the return airport trip. If that's true, then it would seem like other arrangements could have been made of the sort you describe.
