We run all our scissors through the dishwasher. I use scissors to cut open all packages, including meat - and we don't want raw meat on our other things.

This is quite common in many parts of the world.

I am interested in the scissors that were found in the dishwasher.

Looking forward to pathologist's report to learn if the scissors caused those 18 stab wounds. Using a lit candle to burn and torture Gannon followed up by scissor stabbing, followed by gunshot to head while he was laying in bed sounds just like LS. Bullets from first two shots fired were found inside the pillow. The First two missed shots were another form of torture. Finally, the third and final shot to Gannon's jaw killed him..

You missed the blunt force trauma.

She didn't let up.

That's not insane, it's demonic.

Boy oh boy did I need this glass of wine after today.
Whew.

That question from the jury speaks volumes I'd say.
They seem to be examining everything about that horrific day.
I'm encouraged by that.

I hope Gannon's family is too, if they're following the coverage.
After today's testimony, I had to put myself to bed without dinner and listen to sleep meditation tapes.

Thanks for the reminder. blunt force trauma explains the board discovered with blood on it.
By god, she did it all, didn't she?

This isn't a blame game.
Just going for where T's head was at.

I suspect Al choosing to spend the night at the airport on the cold ground to sleep instead of coming home to her for the night before he was gone for weeks was the straw that broke her emotionally.
That deed was very telling.

Taking the kids out for the entire day the following day tells me she was trying to get some clean air into her mind and calm her growing anger.

Very little would push her over the edge. She had been loitering on that ledge for a good while.

Gannon is my hero xx
Al testified he took his mom to the Denver airport that evening, two hours from his home. He had to fly out of that same airport very early next day so he stayed at airport after his mom left that night and slept on floor. I’m sure it wasn’t comfortable for him. But driving home then back again would be four hours wasted.

Regarding the idea that pushed LS over the edge, I suspect she had been abusing Gannon a very long time. Did she really need a push over the edge? I’m not sure she didn’t plan his death but it didn’t go as she planned.

And stabbing him repeatedly, why? That was torture, not an immediate death. And purposely shooting him. It took her three tries and missed him the first two. And beating him? Good grief!

I have to wonder what we will hear from Harley. What did she know? How many times was she abused by this sicko? What about Laina? Was she terrified to do anything that displeased LS?

I’m afraid it will get worse. The autopsy hasn’t been discussed yet in detail.

That is rage. No doubt, counter transference to his father.

Don't forget the sporting equipment she was selling. I'm guessing there was a baseball bat or hockey stick missing.

As she assigned blame to her host of characters, she was careful to account for every single injury she inflicted.

LE smelled her early. Her confession was in the details.

I don't understand two shots into the pillow. She's either super pissed blinding mad and missing her target twice before shooting him in the jaw, or she's intentionally shooting up his pillow to make
him deathly afraid and watch him squirm.

I'm going with the former. And it will be interesting to see if the scissors caused those wounds. Need scissors to clips candle wicks to burn cleanly.

Look at Gannon’s face. What A sweet looking boy and i bet he was little in stature too. How could he have caused LS to abuse him? He didn’t! She needed a rag doll to beat to deal with her frustrations and she used hIm. How many times without Al knowing about it? I guess Laina was next. I wonder if Harley was terrified of her mother?

During opening statements DA Allen said the sharp weapon was never found. So it wasn’t the scissors IMO

Today's court was hard to watch and it will be just as hard Friday and in the weeks to come. To be honest, I don't know why there's a jury trial on this case.

Is Gannon sweet looking, absolutely! He was also 11 and all boy. I bet he pushed the boundaries of mom AND step mom every day because that's what kids of that age do.

I will say that based on the few days testimony with Gannon's dad, he made a poor choice in marrying Tecia and leaving her in the care of his children. He didn't say it, but probably should have in the hours of phone calls he spent taping with LE. I kind of wanted to hear it.
