the father…… omg
Cannot even try to imagine what it would be like to be in his shoes, trying to press on in those phone calls with this beast he knows has killed his precious little boy & is keeping the body from him … omg
When he has to pretend he’ll “stand by her” and so on just to try to keep her talking… I don’t know if I could do it!! Unfathomable

I think the only thing keeping him going at the time was the hope that she'd tell him the truth about where Gannon was.

You could see how tactical it all was, how 'mission oriented'. I don't know if that was something the military gave him or if he was always that way, and I know he got some guidance from the FBI, but it was masterful work under the most excruciating circumstances.

I already respected him from what I'd seen in articles, but what I heard the other day left me deeply in awe of the fortitude and coolheadedness it took to flip the script back on the manipulator to extract what information they could.

AS did a great job. I think in each of their phone conversations he slowly brought her closer to the truth.

Can the witnesses; when testifying, or ever, see her mouthing occasional words or making physical gestures? Or just the jury??
Wouldn't this be deemed a part of facing your accusers?

You say 4 hours wasted I see 12 hours he could have spent with his family....

And you better believe it, my husband would sacrifice 4 hours sleep (drive time) to spend 6 hours ( 2 if thats all allowed even) in bed with me then on a concrete floor.

She knew it too....That he was done with her.
Quotes RSBM.
IMO he didn't need to leave the airport and then drive back again when he was already there.

If her husband staying at the airport bothered her, that's all on her. He didn't do anything regrettable.

He had a right to take care of himself. He didn't need to sacrifice sleep or have added stress about his flight when he was already at the airport.

ITA. Once my cousin called me on behalf of my other cousin, who had been stranded at JFK, asking if he could come kip with me... I would’ve accepted him with alacrity, but I lived in the Bronx at the time, and a cab ride is both long and minimum $50... he decided on his own that he would be more comfortable sleeping in an airport chair, lol.

Yeah. I didn't hear the first one, the long one, because I went to bed before it was played, but I heard the few they played on the next day, and you could tell that with every one, no matter what approach he used, no matter how much he emoted, he had a job to do and he never lost sight of it. And there were truths in there that she let out. More truths, I think, than we realise at this point, that will become clear the more folks testify.

But my count, so far, of probable truths*:
Gannon having head and arm injuries, bleeding, blistered
Gannon screaming for a prolonged period when attacked
Gannon so scared he vomited
Gannon being hidden in the store room
Gannon being hidden in or behind a box/container
and
LS leaving her phone at home or at petco, etc to try to hide her movements
LS creating stories around blood events to try to 'presplain' forensic findings
LS creating stories around car movements to try to 'presplain' forensic findings (GPS)
LS understanding the full repercussions of her crimes (I need immunity, you're trying to put me six feet under, etc.)

*in my opinion only

There are probably more I noted at the time but have forgotten.

Hey, T, here's what DID is not -- it's not making up characters to cover your evil deeds.

Gannon's father pulled a full confession from her. Quincy, Eguardo, I think there was a Terrence in there. Take away the names, it's all what T did to Gannon. The burns, the blunt force, the stabbing, the gunshots. Hurting Gannon, hearing him scream, hiding him, moving him.

No cast of characters. Not in real time, not even in her head. Just one sorry excuse of a human being, inflicting unimaginable cruelty on a little boy who just wanted to live.

We're taking about nearly 24 straight hours of murdering.

Her attorney has it all wrong. T wasn't attacking her demons. T was the demon.

Is the demon.

Throw away the key.

Good morning, everybody, here for Gannon!

Attached link is trial livestream and replay. You really do capture more info when rewatching, as difficult as it is listening to Letecia.

We have many options as to where trial can be watched. All are done via court's webex.

I thought about this also. What if she left her phone at home and took Gannon's phone and maybe the switch too to make it look like he was out there alone, maybe to stage it so it seemed he ran away much earlier in the day, but whatever she was planning took too long and then she had to be home for Laina to get home from school, so she scrapped that plan and did whatever she ended up doing as kind of "plan b" we are going to find out soon.
Very possible. Definitely in panic mode and no plan. moo

I agree witnesses would have to be able to see the defendant and vice versa. But most witnesses who have received preparation for testifying look towards the jury or at least at the person asking the questions when testifying, not at the defendant. So I doubt witnesses, at least adult witnesses, will be rattled by her mouthing words or shaking her head during their testimony. LS may be more extreme than some but an awful lot of defendants do things like that during testimony from state witnesses. A difference here is that jurors are able to ask questions and a juror asked about LS's behavior. (Not all states allow jurors to ask questions but it is apparently required in Colorado Can Jurors Ask Questions During Trials?)

I think you’re talking about 2 different things here.
A Juror sending a question to the Judge is allowed and encouraged in any Court and the Judge will always make the lawyers aware of it. He may determine their input is needed as in this instance, or he may handle it himself.

This is different than the Jurors having the opportunity to ask a question of witnesses while the witness is still on the stand and under oath.
The question was asking the Judge for an instruction.

There was no witness on the stand when the judge read this question to the lawyers the other morning. I’m not sure the Jury was even present. It was first thing at 9:00 a.m that day.

I watched this again. It took another bite out of me.

Her self-absorption is gigantic. How a lifeform couldn't respond to the acute suffering in front of her, it's ... there are no words. That's hellsbreath.

And the leap -- from whatever had transpired to we're going to lose the house. We'll be homeless and it'll be your fault. O. M. G. That's insane. She's not, but that is. And then to pin that on a child? That's unforgivable.

If Gannon had done something, if he'd done anything (and I don't believe he did, I believe she did), that's when you tell a child, it's okay, it's all going to be okay. Objects don't matter. No carpet, not couches, only people matter and we are going to take care of you...

Not T. She puts the weight of eviction on his tiny shoulders, on top of his bubbling burns, so bad his skin and fingernails are peeling off. Hellsbreath. There is no other word.

Special place in hell for people like T. Except that hell-don't-want-her. T scares the hell out of hell.

She is a master manipulator. moo

And it is common for military to sleep on the floor of airports. My son did that the night before every time he flew home the next morning to see us. His rides were always off at night to give him a ride. But could not the next morning when they were on duty at 6am.

Morning all here for Gannon. I wonder who goes on the stand today ,there really isn't much the defense attorney can work with so far all I see is evil with a sprinkle of mental health problems . The only thing this trial is doing is hurting those who love Gannon all over again .jmoo

No, this trial is publicly documenting why this vile witch will be locked in a cage to rot for the rest of her life.
Is that hard for Gannon's loved ones to hear? Of course it is, but they're present, and they know it's going to hurt but they're there for him, to see justice done. I know we'd all be there with them if we could.
