Me, too. Do you think it could have been Harley who answered the phone? Or maybe even the little sister of Gannon?
I'd think a school teacher could tell an eight year old girl from a grown woman on the phone, but no idea about H, never having heard her voice.

Ms. Hicks said it was a woman that answered and said no, she wasn't the person Ms. Hicks was trying to reach.
If it were LS that actually answered the phone, wouldn't she say something like "I can take a message for her" ??
Now I'm wondering if it was someone else in the home that answered the phone.
I'm also wondering why that wasn't questioned further.
And why she was still offered the job as a resource teacher, in charge of teaching special needs kids when her references didn't check out and her alledged doctorate wasn't even verified???

Yep, basically what @alexwood said. Prosecution tried to get the witness to elaborate and defence objected, Judge asked where she was going with it and she couldn't get it past the sidebar, Miss Gratiano obviously couldn't find a way round that one :( . I would guess it came under hearsay?

Option #1 LS answered Gannon's phone and (we don't know the rest but I'll assume it included more lies)
Option #2 LS had someone else answer Gannon's phone and (same as above)

Either way, she LIED about herself and still got the job.

Press conference announcing arrest. Former DA Dan May thanking all involved in the search and investigation says he understands that Kevin Clark may receive special recognition from the FBI for his
work on this case.

I wonder if it was Al's mum? Or even Landen, I would have to check what date they said it was, but the cyber crime guy said it was Gannons phone, and Al's mum stayed with them the week before Gannons death and I think before thy they were with Landen as it was the holidays? Hadn't they Gannon and Laina just got back from being with Landen the week before Al's mum came to stay?.

Speculation as this is from memory until I cam check. MOO

Yeah, I'd wondered about AS's mum, but couldn't remember how the dates lined up. If it was her, it might explain why she didn't say she was Connie, whereas if LS had prepped HH to be Connie, you'd think it would have gone more smoothly.

I'm guessing Leticia answered but she had so many lies on the go at all times that she forgot she was supposed to be Connie.
Her voice and manner of speaking is so distinctive. I’m surprised her voice wasn’t recognized especially when the Stauch name appeared as ID.

For some reason I thought there was no court yesterday or today! o_O Not sure how I screwed that up so badly! It's been a crazy week but not so crazy that my brain should have turned to mush...and yet here we are. ;) I'm gonna go back and read the thread but anything big happen that I missed?
No court on Thursdays

If LS recognized the number calling, or expected it because she had given the number to the lady I think she would be able to disguise her voice just to say Hello and No.

If Gannon had voicemail set up, she certainly didn’t want the lady to reach that.

Not sure what the Idiot’s game plan was by giving her his number.

Maybe she was going to have HH participate in her charade.

I guess it was kind of safe though, easy enough to explain away if needs be "Oh, I'm so sorry, what a clutz!, I've written down my stepsons number by accident, that'll teach me to double check"

And I sure as heck hope we will see a witness whose job it WAS to verify LS's "qualifications". Because if she has a PhD from Liberty University I'll eat some savory humble pie (or, maybe some roasted crow?)!

Since HH and LS have apple watches, IIRC, I assume the phones were iPhones.

You can set up an iPhone so that your phone number doesn't appear on others' caller ID notification.

That's what spammers do. I can understand why parents might also want to disable the caller ID feature on a kids' phone.

I just can't believe this woman actually earned a degree.
Heck, even from Clown College, let alone LU. (I know, some might mistake them for the same school, but still)

Well, if LS answered, why didn't she just say, "Yes," she was Connie, and then proceed to give herself a "glowing" recommendation? Maybe she chickened out on being "Connie".

I don't think it was LS that answered the phone - but - I hope we do eventually find out who did actually answer the phone.

Other people around, timing not what she expected., idk
Didn’t have her notes or script ready.
Maybe it wasn’t her,

Well, as you may remember, LU was Jesse Matthew's alma mater (though he "attended"/played football, but did not graduate; only SA'd a coed or two on the campus, as I recall).

Back in Session. Think Judge is asking Todd something. Camera shows LT standing, buttoned blouse and her much too long Cousin It hair.
