I rewatched that interview when she turns her back on the camera. What an ego!
Only self concerned. Looking forward to everyone apologizing to HER when Gannon comes home.
I’m glad you posted that interview. There are so many red flags!
She totally incriminated herself just because she wanted attention. Her grammar is so horrific that it would make most listeners question her PhD in education. And who would ever drag their child into a public situation like that? We all heard TS coaching her. I think that was a turning point where most people assumed she was guilty.

She was convinced that a title like Dr. or a husband who vouched for her or saying her spouse was in the military would give her pull with anyone because they would be awestruck or something like that. I know people who flaunt their titles, service or community pull. It always makes me crazy. As if having _____________ exempts you or gives you a pass for your behavior. I don't know how anyone trusted her because she seems so transparent to me. Every time she spoke when he was missing I wanted to scream at her that she doesn't fool anyone-- not then, not ever.

I agree. She is totally a con artist but not a very good one.

Oh man, I had forgotten all about this statement.
:0(
I thought I did, but then I remembered all her BS interjections of “clear!', like she thought this made her sound oh so military, LOL.

She's a clout chaser to a ridiculous degree... remember when she described PRE ROTC HH as 'my daughter in the military'?? How self aggrandizing... so the minute you get accepted you're 'in the military'?!?

Oh boy/dear...

Further testimony was heard from a co-worker of Letecia Stauch’s daughter who let Stauch and her daughter stay at her home the night of Jan. 29, 2020.

Janine Sanchez testified to how she believed it was “strange” that Stauch had asked to stay at her home, when originally, she had only planned on letting Stauch’s daughter, Haley Hunt, stay that evening.

Furthermore, Sanchez stated she found it weird that when she and Hunt picked up Stauch she said: “I hope you don’t think we’re a bunch of murderers.'

it would almost be funny… If Gannon had but survived.

"Did I kill Gannon? The answer is no," Letecia Stauch screamed in response. "I can't believe you'd ask me this. ... If you think Gannon's dead that's horrible. … What is wrong with you?”

Over more than 20 minutes Letecia Stauch repeatedly denied to Al Stauch that she had anything to do with Gannon’s disappearance.

A word commonly used by prosecutors throughout Tuesday’s testimony was “manipulative.”

Al Stauch described several instances over the course of his marriage with Letecia Stauch that he felt he was being manipulated, such as two false burglary allegations made by Letecia Stauch in 2019, Letecia Stauch claiming she was pregnant with twins — when she was not — and a sexual harassment allegation made by Letecia Stauch against a captain in Al Stauch’s Army unit while living in Alaska, allegedly because she did not enjoy living there and wanted to move.

Firstly I'd like to thank Al for getting the sexual harassment allegation out there in the open so it can be discussed, if necessary.

Secondly, really?!? I say again:

"Did I kill Gannon? The answer is no," Letecia Stauch screamed in response. "I can't believe you'd ask me this. ... If you think Gannon's dead that's horrible. … What is wrong with you?”

This, ladies and gents, is what we call... an unreliable denial.

"No, I did not kill Gannon", is not the same thing as "Did I kill Gannon? The answer is no!"... the second exchange AVOIDS actually stating/twinning the two concepts together; and the rest, is pure nonsensical transparent DARVO, trying to toss it back onto Al and make him switch from offense (attacking Leticia), to defense (attacking/questioning himself for "going there").

Her maiden name was possibly Hardin
Her previous married name was possibly Hunt
On FB she supposedly went by “Tee”
I thought I read she finished top of her class in HS. Course most of her education is fabricated. She was a really fast talker like Ms Daybell.

All JMO
Maybe that & Google
I can’t find anything

Just an FYI on LS's akas - from my notes:

Letecia Lynn (or Leann) Stauch (36/now 39) akas Letecia “Tecia” Lynn Hardin (maiden name) & Letecia Lynn Hunt (1st married name), Tiffany Taylor Stauch & Taylor Swift

Have to wonder what her first marriage was like?

Given HH was 17 when Gannon was killed, I think LS and her first husband were probably very young when they married and any problems were easily masked behind their youth. I expect we will hear more during sentencing about LS's childhood, and upbringing as mitigating factors. JMO

It's going to be sooner than that. This is a NGRI plea. I expect a huge section of the defense is going to be their out-of-state expert talking about how LS's hard childhood made her a murderer but it's not her fault.

Anyone have any idea the drugs they have her one?

Pretty sure that's confidential medical information, and I don't think that will be disclosed to us.

"Barbie Girl" made other allegations over the years... reference #3 at heavy.com link.
Additionally, reference #4 (click blue area NC records, if you're interested in reading about her 2001 charges.

In North Carolina, she was placed on probation in 2002 after three 2001 arrests. She was charged in February 2001 with communicating threats, in April 2001 with simple assault and June 2001 with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, according to North Carolina records. Further details about those cases were not immediately available.

Whether it be statements by HH or anybody else, rules of evidence prevent a witness from testifying about what a third party allegedly said (hearsay). Technically, it's deemed an out-of-court statement being offered for the truth of the matter and is not allowed. MOO

I get that--in theory--but I didn't understand why it was okay for the officer to testify about what LS said but not what HH said.

Does it make a difference if the person is the defendant?

Yes, the defendant is NOT a third party. LS is right there in the courtroom and the defense can cross-examine the officer/witness on his testimony of what he alleged LS said.

Looking at the defense witness list (and having done some sleuthing early on), I think you can assume that anyone with the following names is related/family to LS - either by blood or previous marriage: Hardin, Hunt, Locklear. It will be interesting to see what they have to say about LS.

It would be interesting to know what she was like as a child, when the manipulation began.

Good to see you here. When do you think it started?
